Good option for family with car

We arrived late and the night desk man arranged pizza as the restaurant was closed. Nice two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and balcony - also parking in garage below.

Excellent hotel, room was as expected, breakfast was first class. Only negative in the experience is the front desk staff - not sure how a hotel in Italy has a person at its front desk tell guests she prefers to speak German.

Home away from Home

When we arrived to the City Hotel, we drove our car to the parking garage. There were some carts to transport our baggage and then we arrived at reception. Mike at reception was awesome with respect to his warm personality and level of information. We felt very welcome. The place has a cool vibe. When we got to our 2 bedroom suite, we were overjoyed. Our teen son loved the gym and spa and had wished that we could have stayed longer. We loved it at the City Hotel and hope to stay there again soon. We ate dinner in the restaurant and we thought it was the best dinner we had eaten since our arrival in Europe, not only was it delicious, but a great value.

As a hotel, very high standards attained

Set on the edge of the main shopping streets, the hotel is well situated when coming from the station being an easy walk of only a few minutes. Staff are helpful, the room was a very good size and the breakfast selection was excellent. The only negative point was that the hotel is right outside the location for what I presume to be a weekly market. I was not notified that this was happening and so was woken very early by the arrival of cars and vans, which revved their engines outside the room from 5am. Some notice of this would have been appreciated so I could have ensured my windows were closed.

Relax and Enjoy

The hotel is lovely. Friendly and efficient staff, beautiful décor and ambience, spacious room and well situated. Lovely spa to relax in after a day's sightseeing and fabulous breakfast. It's a great base for exploring this beautiful town and the area.

Grossartig! Tolles, freundliches Personal, bestes Frühstücksbüffet was wir je hatten (tolles Brot, frisches Obst und gepresste Obstsäfte, warme Gerichte ab Karte bestellbar, tolle Kuchen und Croissant Auswahl und bester Latte Macchiato den ich je hatte 😉) gratis WLAN, super Lage ca. 5-7 min vom Zentrum entfernt, grosse Zimmer mit separatem Schlafzimmer und eigenem Balkon. Das Fitness ist absolut ausreichend, Spa hat Sauna, Danpfbad und Whirlpool sowie Ruhezone. Einziger Wermutstropfen, die Matratzen sind leider Mist (Schaumstoff) und viel zu weich. Aber sonst sehr empfehlenswert 👌

Ein modernes Stadthotel. Leider kann der Service nicht mit dem Komfort der Zimmer mithalten. Das Essen hat uns nicht geschmeckt und die Bedienung war, auch bei wenig Gästen, überfordert. Der Wellnessbereich wurde von jemanden konzipiert, der offenbar keine Ahnung davon hat. Die Sauna war gross und sauber, aber der Nassraum völlig ungenügend.
