I am a gold club Melia member and I was offered this hotel as an alternative to a Gran Melia hotel and it is was very below standard. My tier is for 5 star but I couldn't get into my five star hotel and was offered this hotel which is suppose to be an alternative. In my opionion this is not an alternative. We arrived and I was upset, however when I rang Melia rewards, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I was charged double the amount quoted on arrival which was shocking. Nothing could be done about it and we had to get on with it. The rooms were nice but the quality of the food and drink were poor. The main swimming pool was overcrowded with no shaded areas and very loud. The front staff were rude and I can only put it down to a bad experience. Advice for anyone that is a member of club Melia...stick with the hotel you took your time share out with. Do not swap your options to reward points and go with another hotel within the group. You will be out of pocket and dissapointed.

Just spent a two week holiday at the sol falco. Had a great time. The pool area was great with plenty of beds and plenty of room . Entertainment was mainly Italian but very good and the team made my daughter very welcome. The food was good with lots of choices and not have as bad as people have wrote. My only issue was with the breakfast cereals. They tasted awful. So we bought a box from the local shop. The room was nice and clean with good air conditioning . I would definitely return to the sol falco in the future.

Very high standard of cleanliness, staff very polite and hardworking (especially fitness class!) Crexhe for under 4s was brilliant. Food was varied and had something for everyone, and a great choice of swimming pools.

Stayed here August 4th for the week all inclusive was well impressed with the whole experience will definitely return, from the location to the excellent pools and great choice of food and not forgetting the lovely staff (special mention for alejandro )you cannot fault it, and not forgetting the lovely harbour and beach only a 10min walk away if you fancy a spot of shopping

We visited this hotel in Aug 2017 with extended family, booking directly (good flights with Jet2 from Stansted, and private transfer). We had four rooms next to each other, each with joining balconies so perfect for privacy and socialising. Rooms were lovely, big beds, very clean, new fab bathrooms and lots of storage. The.staff were all (without exception) friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Food was of very good quality and lots of choice to satisfy the grandparents with expensive tastes and two year old who knows what she likes! Kids club a hit (you can't always say that!) for all of ours (5 kids aged 2-10 in the group). Good location, bus ride away from Cuitadella (worth a visit) and 10 mins walk from pretty marina area. Would return!

I know that this is a Sol hotel and not a Melia, but I expected so much more for £700 per night, having stayed in other Melia properties. We arrived and our room was not ready and we had to wait an hour in what can only be described as a soul-less, uninspiring very average lobby/bar area. When we finally got into our room, I was impressed, with them having recently been renovated. We then headed to the restaurant, which is just huge and feels more like a school/office canteen with people just scoffing massive portions of very average, buffet food. The outside areas are horrible, due to the amount of people smoking. Sorry Melia but you need to work in this one - your brand is suffering and I will not be back.

7 pools-you could always find a quiet one. Close to beach but beach shoes a must as very rocky . Food great. Bottles of water included in all inclusive. Staff so pleasant and hard working. Rooms immaculate. Ten minute walk to marina.

Being a single parent with two children 11 and 17, this holiday ticked a lot of boxes. The hotel was extremely clean and the layout gave a club atmosphere. The room was large enough for our needs, as usual the third bed consisted of a fold out chair bed, adequate but not super comfy. The bathroom was spotless and no problems experienced with the shower. The pool area was busy, the entertainment team offered all kinds of activities for adults and children, however the kids club was not suitable for my 11 year old daughter and she was not old enough to participate fully in the older kids club, allowances were made on occasion. My son benefitted most from the activities, I hardly saw him. He said that he felt as if he had had a holiday with mates, he had a lot of freedom. The food and drink options were adequate, a great range of fruit, alcoholic drink range was good although cocktails left a lot to be desired. The only downside of the holiday was the bar staff, I appreciate that they are busy but I was left feeling I had inconvenienced them when I asked for an order.

Return visit to Sol Falco Menorca as we enjoyed it so much last year. Accommodation and food is excellent. Close to the beach and 10min walk to The Marina. Staff were friendly and helpful . Our 15 year old son joined the teenage club again this year as it was very well organised, welcoming and great fun (many thanks to Alejandro - who organised plenty of age appropriate and fun activities) our son thoroughly enjoyed the company hence the reason he is already asking to return next year!

This was the first time we had took our 21 month old abroad so my wife and I were a bit apprehensive beforehand. On arriving at Sol Falco it was noticeable from the start that this was a great place to have a holiday if you have a child. Nearly all of the staff were really friendly to my wife, myself, and our 21 month old. To my wife and I, it was all about our little girl and she loved everything. The food, the park, the pool, the entertainment.... the list could continue. A few special things. We stayed in the rancho area which was just away from the main pools and entertainment meaning our girl had a really good sleep every night. A woman working in the restaurant called Leticia was superb with our little girl, so much so that our girl would look for Leticia every meal time. Another member of staff called Luis Miguel always spoke to me in Spanish so that I could practise my Spanish which I really liked as my daughter picked up the odd words and started saying Hola to people. One thing that slightly tainted our stay (but not enough to lose any marks on the rating) was one of the bar staff was always quite miserable. She could speak good English, but wouldn't speak in English to my wife leaving her to have to try and understand her in Spanish. Then when I ordered drinks in Spanish she would talk back to me in English, without any smile, recognition, or enjoyment for her job. Overall we loved our stay and thanked the manager on our final night (yesterday) for the work which his team does to make it a success. We will take our daughter back again!!!
