About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Large Winter Waterfront Escape Lake Michigan

Whether in town for business or pleasure, we are the best location in Menominee.

When you arrive at Mooring Calm, the first thing you encounter after coming through the arched front door is the 100 year old staircase and large living room. Don't get distracted, the best is yet to come.

Advance through the family room. Past the fireplace — sorry, no fires allowed. Don't slow down at the pool table. There is plenty of time for games later. You are almost there.

Step into the sunroom/dining room. You have arrived. Notice the wall-to-wall windows. Feast your eyes on water views for as far as your eyes can see. Grab a seat and take it all in.

All done? Take a quick look behind you. Kitchen. Enjoy the large island -- great place for the family to gather. No time to cook yet. Walk through the beautiful swinging door for the first floor bedroom. Depending when you read this, it may or may not have French doors installed. We are working on it.

Back to reality. Time to unload the car. Suitcases go in 1 of the 4 upstairs rooms or 1 downstairs. Each room upstairs has a large closet. Each is near the 2 full baths.

Looking for a shortcut? Drop down the back staircase and you are back in the kitchen.

Neither garage is accessible to guests.

Great for business travelers. Why book 5 separate hotel rooms. Have your corporate bookers contact us. We would love to host you and your team.

Walk to shops, restaurants, and lighthouse.

This was an awesome house right on the water. We sailed a couple of days and literally just walked over to the marina. House was within walking distance to some great restaurants as well. Owners were great to work with and just very helpful. We will be back.

We came up for my father's funeral and luckily this house was available! It was the perfect size for 6 adults and 4 children. Loved the location, so close to restaurants and bars, and easily walkable! The marina next door was fun to walk around, as it brought back fond memories of when I lived in the area! The kids loved the playground and enjoyed all the space to run around. The home is warm and welcoming, had everything we needed to make it comfortable for us! It exceeded our wants needs and we would definitely stay here again!

Lakeshore Gem

A well kept old home in the heart of downtown small town. Location was great, in walking distance to the marina, restaurants, beach and lighthouse. Spacious home, comfortable beds with a fabulous sunroom facing the lake sun and moon rise. Perfect for family gathering in the large back yard with fire pit. The host was friendly and responsive to all requests. We will return!
