This hotel was one of my worst experiences I’ve had. I ended up Leaving a day early cause It was such a poor experience. There is no pool to use. The pool is empty and they filled it up with all there extra furniture and microwaves etc. the breakfast bar was a joke. There was no cups or bowls or plates or utensils or anything to put food on. I had to go ask for a plate at the front desk. Nothing to drink except coffee but no cups. And no signs letting you know where to get any. They only had toast, fruit loops and a tiny bit of eggs but nothing to put it on. All the hallways stunk of cigarettes and the carpets are stained and filthy. I had to keep an eye on my car cause there were many homeless in and around the hotel looking inside peoples cars. The rooms weren’t too bad but I didn’t have any shampoo and one set of towels for a four night stay. When I asked for shampoo they said they don’t have any. No one cleaned my room while I was there and no word as to why they didn’t do that. Also the layout of the building is very complicated to get around. I do not recommend this place to any families with kids. Very unsafe place to stay.

The hotel is not maintained or taken care of. Everything from the carpet up was gross. I realize that this particular hotel has been under renovation for a while but that does not give an excuse for the total lack of cleaning. There is no free breakfast as advertised.

I'm not even daring to try the breakfast based on the conditions of everything else. Our first room smelled bad and had leftover belongings from other people. They "upgraded" us to a suite which only mean larger room but otherwise exactly the same. Pool is completely demolished and they don't advertise it anywhere. Halls ways fulla of stains floor to ceiling. Peeling, chipping, trash in the halls, dirty laundry in the halls. Only reason we didn't leave upon arrival is because I felt bad making my kids jump place to place finding an alternate solution. Will never stay here again.

I stayed there for four days and nights three nights. I did not have hot water. They post that there is a swimming pool and a hot tub on the preferences. They are both not working. The complementary breakfast was very poor security doors do not work properly. I will not stay there again

Most of the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean upon arrival and I understand the place had been run down in the past but is under new management and it takes time for the renovations and upgrades to the facilities to be completed. The pricing was the most affordable in the entire city and they upgraded my single room upon arrival to a massive executive suite so I was able to bring my kids for a stay at the place. I will return in the future.

Flies in my room, stained sheets and towels, no one told me when checking in or when booking the pool and hot tub were closed. Told the staff of the issues and they followed up with “oh that’s not good so how would you like your deposit back” gross.

We arrrived to find that the pool was out of service, the ice machine was broken, the hallways smelled like mildew and smoke, the carpet was stained, and the wallpaper was torn and patched all throughout. Upon arriving to our room the faucet was rusted out, the bathroom tub continually peeked and the curtains were ripped. Breakfast in the morning was some old bread with flies on it, a bit of Froot Loops (no milk) and some packets of ketchup and butter. We would never stay here again. The place needs a serious overhaul.

Ok for one night stay.

Despite undergoing renovations, the room and bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable to sleep on. No TV service in the room. One staff member was friendly and greeted us wonderfully when we arrived. However the other staff member when going for breakfast was pretty much rude, wasn’t professional at all. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, dry and not warm, no coffee cups around or juice either.

Both myself and another patron, I met next morning at the breakfast bar, had to pay an ‘upgrade fee’ to have a ground floor room (there is no elevator to the 2nd floor). The ‘upgrade’ had a kitchenette, a large jetted tub and 2 queen beds which was very very nice The major downside: the drapes didn’t fully close, they was one drapery panel missing, and the drapes were torn and ragged on the ends of the drapery rods. My unit faced the street and not being able to properly close the drapes was unsettling! There was a fan blowing in my room when I checked in; I couldn’t turn it off, nor down (the other patron I spoke with couldn’t turn hers on in her unit). The ‘breakfast included’ was sufficient but it was the poorest I’ve ever had. There was bread, a toaster, some hot scrambled eggs, and some sausages that didn’t appear to have been cooked (they were pastry white, not browned) and only luke warm. There were also 2 choices of cold cereal. Most breakfasts at hotels I’ve stayed at will have yogurt, muffins, and/or fruit Having had foot surgery recently I wanted to elevate my legs in bed and decided the garbage can would be a good start for some height before adding pillows to raise my legs above the level of my heart. I took the garbage bag out of the kitchen garbage can and put it in the sink but then found the garbage can had a whole lot of drywall dust in it and so I couldn’t use it as I didn’t want all that dirt in the bed. Somewhere they are renovating I guess
