The room was clean and quiet. Check in ….desk was empty and sign said back in 10 minutes the guy in front of us said it had been 25 already so my husband went looking for the check in person they were helping in the restaurant?

Always my go-to hotel when I go to Medicine Hat. Large, clean rooms. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. My grandchildren love the pool and waterside.

The staff was awesome. Friendliest I've experienced. The hotel itself is a pig that needs more than lipstick. Bonus: Weekdays the breakfast is ordered from the menu. It's not bad. Weekend buffet is lacklustre. Pool & waterslide is great. My kid loved it.

Clarion Pointe Hotel Med. Hat. Dirty bedding!!

Sheets weren't clean & pillow cases had black specs on them. I didn't sleep a wink for fear of who's germs were on the sheets. When I demanded my money back they said I needed to inform them before 130am. Didnt see the dirty bedding until 2am. Will never stay at or recommend this hotel!!

Great extended stay

The breakfast was amazing every day. It was not your typical continental, most days you ordered off a breakfast menu and served like in any restaurant. Or you could order it to go and it was packaged well. Staff was excellent not matter who we met. We had to stay for 26 days while between homes and everyone was so helpful and friendly, in every department at every time. Service from the hotel restaurant was great with delicious meals. I can only upload 8 photos but I took many more. Food portions were excellent, the pizzas in particular are a great price for the size as well as the huge fish and chips. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and that is not indicated anywhere, so be aware of that if traveling over a Monday. I had a couple of disappointments, such as the outdoor seating areas that are advertised not being available. One is completely gone and when I ate supper at the lounge one evening, I had been hoping to sit outside but I was told that isn't open except maybe for events. The area itself is a bit old and sketchy, with people going through the dumpster, garbage cans and cigarette butt stations daily, while Hotel patrons are sitting outside within feet. Several times we were approached for money or smokes. I feel that the hotel management should support it's staff and patrons with more security, making the premises No Trespassing, etc. But overall it was fine. I went to the Laundromat once, different building, but it was locked so I had to call the front office.

The shower drain was plugged and it overflowed, there were black smudges on the white comforter, the room beside smoked so much weed that I had to stuff towels under the lock off door to try and stop it from seeping in, the homeless that are clearly high walk around the building is extremely uncomfortable.

The jacuzzi was in terrible condition. It was very dirty. I don't think it was ever cleaned. It was really very unsaitory. We did not go in it.

My family of 6 really enjoyed it here! The room was clean, Spacious and comfortable. The waterpark was awesome! My kids ages are 9-15 and they all loved it! The breakfast was great! Nice and fresh and lots of variety in food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. We would definitely stay here again!
