I made a reservation through Orbitz. The front desk insisted that I had not paid and would not check me in until I paid with a credit card again. I was about to walk out when she told me to take the room and she'd deal with "the problem" later. I should have left then and there but I was extremely tired and needed a room. The front desk clerk was reluctant to check me in because my drivers license address did not match Orbitz online address. It took 15 minutes to change the Orbitz address to match my drivers license address. The front desk clerk told me she wanted online reservations to stop because they were a "pain in the.....". The whole check in process took about 45 minutes. The room was gloomy, old, dirty and outdated. The t.v. looked to be from the 80's. You could see through the old, worn out sheets. It smelled of mold. There was a horrible noise from the pipes when you used the faucet in the bathroom. One of the most depressing rooms I've ever encounterd. I left and went to another hotel where all went without flaws. I would not recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances.

No more yogurt, only plain bagels, no more bananas, no more oranges

This was exactly what we were looking for, even on a holiday weekend the price was super affordable and the rooms (though older) were very clean and had everything we needed. The staff is EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, and the breakfast was delish! Thank you!!!

Just what I needed for my trip south for Christmas. A place to sleep and a place to take a shower. It was fine for what I needed.

The location was good and the price was right and the breakfast has nore than other hotels.

I stayed at the Super 8 Ashland for convenience and low price and that is what I got. All the basics were there, including a nice pool and a good breakfast. My tub did not drain the first night but it was taken care of promptly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

I had a comfortable room with a refrigerator and micro wave. Everything worked and the service of the room was performed conveniently.

Bed covers had holes and were dingy looking. One day standing water in toilet brown all day. Breakfast milk sour no selection. Just not good at all if I hadn't pre paid would have lefy

This hotel was just nasty. We stayed in a room on the ground floor and it appeared to be sort of underground. The window looked out at the parking lot, but you could see the bottom of the cars and a cement wall, so there was not a lot of natural light in the room. Also, the hallway and room felt moist and clammy, and smelled musty. I immediately thought back to my college days and was reminded of the smell of a college dorm (minus the beer). The weather in Ashland was lovely when we were there, but because of the moist, humid feel to the room we were forced to keep the air conditioning on whenever we were in the room (including all night long while we slept). The fridge never really got cold enough, there was not even a box of Kleenex or a pen in the room! There was shampoo but no conditioner and when I asked the desk attendant for conditioner, he told me they were "out" of it. Really? There was a stain on one of the chairs, but aside from that and the funky smell, the room *appeared* clean, although the smell and moistness left us a bit creeped out about the actual cleanliness of the place and we didn't even try out the swimming pool for fear of flesh-eating bacteria #ok, I'm kidding about flesh-eating bacteria, but we just didn't feel like the place was really clean#. I'd paid for the room in advance, otherwise we would have found another place to stay on the 2nd night. The positives: the location was good, easy to find off the highway and we enjoyed a nice walk to the beautiful downtown area #it's about a 3 mile walk one way#. If you're looking for something very close to the theatres, you'll likely find this to be too far away.

The rooms need updates....new blankets, new bedspreads, clean carpets or replace....all staff were helpful and friendly....the pool was very clean, breakfast was o.k. For the money....not too bad.

We needed a last minute hotel, they had just what we were looking for. Cost on this site was $100, and I think it would have been $75 if we had purchased directly from the hotel (lesson learned there). Perfectly good quick and easy motel, I'd certainly stay there again. -Area felt safe -Beds were clean and fairly comfortable (a little soft for my taste, but good enough) -Shower was fine. We didn't try the breakfast, but the diner across the street (Wild Goose) was very yummy. The toilet ran some, but bathroom door closed solved that problem. In the morning I could hear people walking in the hall, but it was overall pretty quiet

The carpet and upholstery were stained, big stain on bedskirt, mildew under bathmat. Door did not lock properly and housekeeping left the door ajar so that our room was accessible to anyone who passed by. Front desk said maintenance request had been ignored.

right off the freeway and with a free breakfast. price was right.

I was visiting Ashland to attend the Shakespearean Festival and needed a place to sleep. This was perfect. Clean room, friendly staff, adequate breakfast, easy parking, good wi-fi, good price. I used the room mostly for sleeping and showering and it was more than adequate for this. The room did have a microwave and small refrigerator which I didn't use. The TV appeared to have many cable channels. The bed was comfortable, the shower water hot.

Room was fine, bed was fine. Did not have an elevator which was a problem for one of my group. Pool was under renovation and not available which made one of my group unhappy.

Very good breakfast. WIFI worked fine. Pool was closed for maintenance.

Quick stay before and after week cycling in Oregon/CA.

While it was not fancy or roomy, it had all that I wanted in 3 night stay. The staff was helpful and I found my stay was very pleasant.

The room was fine, the breakfast adequate but not special. We called the front desk to make a reservation for a return visit and were quoted a price. When checking out the next morning, I was given a confirmation printout for the reservation, and the prIce had gone up $20!

The hotel was a quick drive from downtown, the room was clean and comfortable, and there was a complimentary breakfast.
