After a long hot day the last thing we needed was an extended check-in procedure & the concierge trying to sell us tours. Aircon failed & water was turned off just when we wanted to shower. Reception staff were unwelcoming as were many of those in the restaurant. You can tell people don't want to be there. AVOID.
Extremely under-rated, the facilities are as good as higher priced competitors such as Hampton, Intercontinental etc. Also, the location is excellent and close to shopping centers. Staff was super helpful
It is located right in front of the busiest streets in Medellin, the rooms are extremely noisy, cheasy decor, horrendous service. I requested a change of room and the person in the reception gave me a face. The beds are really bad not to mention the sheets and blankets, like sand paper! Breakfast is really poor, I recommend yo to stay at NH just a few blocks from this hole!
I like this hotel. It is next to everything you need. There is plenty of shopping malls places to eat and small venues that are fun to visit in the local area. It is very safe there. The hotel is clean. The bed was kind of hard. The staff was very helpful and the showers are awesome. The rooms are clean and the views are good. It was very quiet so very restful. The only problem I really had was the air conditioning working and I asked them to check it but it still continue not to work. It’s a good thing it was cooler at night. I would stay here again. It is a modern hotel. Breakfast was fair. This hotel is about the location but some taxi drivers could not find it as it is tricky to drive to this hotel.
The hotel has a good location close to shopping center across the street . A little small however the staff was fantastic in all my requests . aspecial thank you to Evelyn Brand and Francess . Both very helpful and were able to make sure my needs were met or exceeded. I would go back just for the staff. downside was slow wifi.
The hotel was everything we were led to expect the staff was super friendly our room was nice, clean, and our location was perfect. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed Medellin and we did they have a good restaurant with good food and the reality is you can't do better when you're in Medellin.
Bed and pillow very poor quality. Pillows synthetic, too hard, bed very uncomfortable. Scarce towels (room for 2 people, only one hand towel) poor material of construction anyway. Shower pretty badly thought, so you can't wash yourself without getting all wet. Very slippery with some ridiculous anti slippery plastic flower that it's worst than the slippery shower. Ridiculous kind of " high end design" basin, where, when you wash your hand, it's impossible not to soak all around. Poor room service: left the room for service at 8:30 am nobody filled up the minibar so at 10:00pm had to order water to drink waiting for more than 30 minutes to have it. And air conditioning is of that kind that the command in your room it's a fake. They decide at what temperature you have to sleep, and it's, in any case, too hot. This supposed to be a 5 star but the standard it's very below. A pretentious place, that does not worth the money you are going to pay. Avoid it if you can.
I enjoyed everything about my stay except for some construction noise in the morning. The hotel is remodeling some rooms. Staff was very attentive with good English skills. My room was spacious, comfortable and very nicely equipped. The shower was spectacular. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. WiFi was good in the room. Mini-bar items were reasonably priced. I did not try the included breakfast. Hotel is walking distance to Santa Fe and Oviedo malls and a short taxi ride toParque Lleras. Also nearby is La Strada, a collection of excellent restaurants.
Nice hotel. Rooms nice - some construction issues - shower doors not fitting, blinds not opening. Comfortable bed. Good food. Odd call system in the restaurant that seems to give staff an excuse to ignore you.
It has all your basic needs, very clean decent size rooms and great service. Santa Fe Mall is a black away if you want to shop. It is a great mall that is about 4 stories high with plenty of places to eat and shop. I recommend this place for the price and location
