everhing was old, lot of things needed to be replaced.. Pooll needs deckchairs and the breakfast needs a mojor upgrade. Location is good but safe did not work in our room and was never replaced as promised.

Pros: + Excellent location - 10 minutes walk to Santa Fe mall. + Pool (small, but at least it has one) Cons + VERY limited breakfast options. Basically eggs, fried or scrambled. And no fruit. + We walked in late one night and there was nobody at front reception. + Our room had mould and smelled. We ended up moving room. As did my mother in law. The hotel needs some serious updating (and cleaning)

This is an old house made to look like a hotel. The rooms and the furniture are old and the bathrooms are ancient and tiny. It has the basics, and as such should charge about $20. The rooms are unconfortable with hardly any space to walk. My room had 2 old floor fans that took up too much space. The person that hands out the stars is out of his mind to give more than one.

Stayed here for a quick Friday to Monday jaunt with my wife and another couple and their 3 year old. We got a family room that fit all of us comfortably and was nice and clean. This is in a very quiet residential neighbourhood in El Poblado. I mean, this hotel looks like a house from the front but is actually a hotel. This was extremely cheap, I mean 175 dollars for the entire 4 days and that includes an excellent full breakfast that was professionally prepared (I had the huevos Neopolitana, awesome omelette with ham and cheese), the service by our waiter was european class, incredibly quick, courteous and professional. I love this little hotel and recommend it.

We spent one night at this lovely hotel in the middle of the city but located in a quiet, residential area, I liked that it was surrounded by nature. The staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We had breakfast by the pool and there were trees and squirrels that we could feed. It was so nice the pool area. There was near by a small area with restaurants and a supermarket. I think is a very good choice for a short stay in Medellin.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights with our three children (aged 7, 5 and 3) sharing one room. The room was simple but very clean and large enough to fit the double and three single beds. Although there was no airconditioning the temperature was no problem at all. Temperatures in the evening dropped to the low 20's (celsius) and with the two fans it was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but effective with a choice of eggs, arepas and toast, a choice of several juices and coffee. The breakfast porch is looking out over the pool and you can enjoy birds and squirrels flying and running around. Especially the kids loved this. Staff at the hotel are, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Although our Spanish is not the best, the staff will take all the time needed. The loacation is not in the city center, but in a nice and friendly looking neighbourhood. Within 15 minutes walking distance is a metro station (Aquacatala) and a very large shopping mall (centro commercial Santafe). Taking a taxi to either location will cost around 6000 or 7000 pesos (2 € / 2.2 US$). We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. Absolutely recommendable.

This hotel is located in what looks like a mostly residential area. Several variations of rooms, nice restaurant overlooking the pool area. Quiet area around hotel makes for restful stay and pleasant walks. Receptions speaks good English. Pool water was on the chilly side but nice for swimming.

The good: - big room - quiet hotel - about 1.5km to restaurants The bad: - no aircon! The rooms and hotel are extremely hot...I was very surprised that a hotel in such a hot city had no aircon - ants in the rooms...everywhere - rooms are really basic - breakfast was an ordeal each day. Either our order was wrong, or there was nowhere for us to sit (at which point we were offered room service in our sweltering room) I reckon there are better places to stay. It's very expensive for what it is.

all listed amenities listed on expedias website incorrect. no restaurant, no 24 hour room service, not even lounges at the pool, a million ants in the room, etc. expedia was informed and offered pictures however has not changed anything. it is a horrible travelsite and i won t book with them anymore

This small hotel set in a quiet residential neighborhood was fine for our budget needs. It's no great luxury hotel, that's for sure! But it was very quiet generally due to its location, however, and we heard all the TV programs from our neighboring rooms - THIN walls! The shower was huge, the room clean, although the bed was a bit hard for our tastes. It is a medium walk to a large shopping mall (Santa Fe Mall) and a few restaurants along the Golden Mile (Poblado Ave.). It was a bit far from the Zona Rosa and Parque Lleras area so we had to take a taxi. Taxis found it VERY difficult to find, even when I gave them the exact address and described the location. I'm not sure where the nearest metro station was, but it would have been a bit of a walk. The breakfast each day was great and the service was outstanding (at breakfast). The second day we were there, the front desk girl told us that she still needed to charge us for a second person! but I had my receipt with me that clearly indicated I'd paid for two people and when we checked out, there was no mention of this. We had a little fridge filled with water, juices, and beer. The water was inexpensive (as is not often the case in hotel mini-bars!). It also had a steam room, but we never had time to use it! We loved the low cost, but it was a bit inconvenient for us.
