Great stay!
This hotel will be my go to when traveling to Medellin, if I have a say so. It offers great views that are not very well advertised. My only complaint, the outside noise comes through a bit more than I like, but not the worst.
The property was in a good location, very walkable to the main tourism and party areas of Poblado. The rooms were nice, but very noisy. The bar on the roof plays very loud music till late at night, However! The floors and ceiling are concrete so that noise does not travel much. BUT! The walls are very thin, and I could hear every door open and closing on my floor or being cleaned in the morning. The street is also very noisy, with lots of cars honking and loud mufflers. I had to sleep with my AirPods in quiet mode. The restaurant is nice on the bottom floor but is not owned by the hotel and is very expensive. (they have no free water and charge you like $5 for a bottle (two cups), which is crazy since it is free in your room). The bar on the roof is also very expensive, talking like $10 per drink, not worth it. It is a good spot if you are looking to party and if money is not a concern. Otherwise, I would suggest somewhere in Laureles.
Booking here I knew it wasnt a hotel, figured maybe it was a Boutique, but lets say this is more like a motel. if you're young and want to party til sunrise this is the place for you. If you're mature adult then this probably isnt your cup of tea as the city will be booming til 6 am. its not as fancy as it seems on the pictures. I was mislead with a balcony mountain view that you certainly wont have. you do see mountains but you see more skyscrapers than anything. The service is wonky. you communicate via whatsapp. theres no phone in the room. i felt disappointed. however I did book one night at Hotel Zarzo up the street. now that is luxury. silence. the attention to detail cant be ignored. Hashtag 98 is definitely for young people who just want to party and are ok with minimal hotel lifestyle. more like motel. i dont recommend this place to any of my friends and family. if anything Ill tell them to avoid it. no one greets you when you walk into the "hotel" everyones careless there.
Me gustó mucho quedarme ahí, buenas cosas son la limpieza es impecable!! Todo queda cerca y hay bastante policías por el área puedes sentirte seguro de caminar, súper cerca de lleras y Provenza. Si puedo decir que la muchacha del lobby debería ser más carismática con los clientes. A pesar de eso pues te dan buen servicio. El rooftop tiene un view increíble!!!! Me encantó vale la pena cada centavo que gastas! También el restaurante del hotel nos encantó a mi y mi esposo. La habitación es un poco pequeña pero la verdad no me importó. Volvería a quedarme en este hotel. Lo recomiendo.
I really like the environment but its way too much noise over night on the street and the rooftop is well . I didn't like that they don't have lobby to in the front desk to hangout they only have one couch for 50 rooms

Regarding the view from the balcony, it varies depending on the height and location of the room in the building, it will not necessarily be the room in the picture but it will be the same type and accommodation. We try as much as possible to use technological means with the guests while installing direct communication in each room.
