Nice hotel. The walls are paper thin so be read to hear crying babies next door, if you are so lucky.

I had no idea Medellin was such a absolutely beautiful city. Yhe hotel sits right in the middle of the nicest part of town. The hotel is elegant. The food is delicious. And the prices were quite reasonable I thought.

Eating and a rat ran across my legs. when in the jacuzzi again the rat visit. The doors are paper thin you can hear noise all night of other guests. Could not get a good nights sleep. Towels are old and worn. Actually scratch your skin. They felt like paper. I actually went out and purchased towels.

This hotel provides service before you enter with a staff person r who come out to welcome you. The lobby is grand: high ceilings and windows with stained glass. We had a lovely suite with closet and drawer space much more ample than most hotels today provide. The service staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. There are several restaurants , at lease two off the lobby and convenient, yet the lobby is surprising quiet. I do not know how this hotel maintains such elegance yet provides every convenience. Our room rate included a buffet breakfast with fresh fruit and a variety of baked goods and breads, eggs and several kinds of breakfast meats. Dinner at the restaurant included very attentive service and excellent food, including Italian and Portugese selections. The hotel is convenient to shopping, museums, parks. The staff has a kind attitude toward everyone including older people and children.

Beautiful hotel with great staff. My room was spacious and bright. The breakfast buffet was great. The location is excellent, just a short walk to casinos, restaurants and shops.

After reading reviews after I booked the hotel, I was a little nervous. However, the experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was more than accommodating and the room was very clean. The only problem I had was finding out how to open and close the electronic blinds - I didn't know they were controlled by the tv remote.

As a first time traveller to South America, I heartily recommend this hotel and I gave it 4 stars since there are potential improvements. Pros: - Great location - easy walk to metro and adjacent park is beautiful - Friendly staff - Nice amenties - great shower, comfotable beds, everything worked well. - Fantastic view from my room on 16th floor (standard room) Improvement is possible: - Very little sound insulation. Wood floors are pretty but sound from adjacent rooms is a real problem. Inconsiderate neighbors are magnified greatly and a nearby crying baby was my problem too. I used earbuds and music and managed ok but this issue subtracted a star from my review.

Ask for a room with park/city view you will enjoy, please avoid a room on level 17 because the machinery of the gyratory restaurant on the roof top could be annoying...

Old hotel over rated need update and the staff not accommodating nor welcoming

Hotel staff is very friendly. Great location. Pool is relaxing. Close to everything

The Hotel is in the Center of El Poblado , the Best part of Medellin , Business , Meetings , Closed to Shoppign Centers Restaurants and Bars , the Transportation is all the Way there, Like Taxis for example ,Banking offices Notary to closed for comfort too.We get Massage for 149.000.00 Pesos about 50 Dollars one the Best . They have Piano Bar at the First Floor or you can Watch a Game on T.V. ,in front of the Reception have a Restaurant bar The Porton if you Want Drinks Only or Both . in the 18 floor have a revolving restaurant I Recommend for Lunch but Dinner is okay The name TONY ROMA`S, You can See the City Better for Lunch , the Pool is Beautiful and Climate Temperature . they Served Breakfast Every Day with Breads, Cheeses ,Fresh Fruit , Juices, Coffee or Hot Chocolate , plus Eggs at Your Choice in Different hot items My was including .The Service of the all Personal is Great Specially From Mr Ruben at the Front Desk and Martha the housekeeping, but everyone is great .

Check in employee was rude. Over all good experience. Good safe location in Poblado neighborhood next to a hospital walking distance to Parque Lleras.

The Hotel has a lot to offer. The facilities are nice and the staff is attentive. However, the beds need to be updated as well the rooms. In comparison to hotels in Medellin of similar category the bedding feels cheap and the rooms need a lift. I stayed in 3 hotels The Charlie, The Estelar Blue, The Binn Hotel and all of them offered great attentive care and updated rooms. At the end of my stay at the Dann I left satisfied, but not impressed.

This hotel is way too nice! I loved it.. They have gym, pool, restaurants, free breakfast (which is really good), and many in site facilities. There are some people selling tours at a very good price. The only thing I didn't like at the beginning was that I was a little bit ignored by one of the people in the reception, but then he noticed that I was the one who reserved the hotel room and he changed his attitude. Other than that, everyone was so corteous and kind! Loved this hotel, will for sure go back!

Began my stay with having to wait 45 minutes for my room, even though I arrived at 5:00 p.m., well after check-in time. The lobby entry had scaffolding up to the broken drywall. There was also a cracked tile on the main stairway. None of this was ever repaired during our 4 day stay. The only time you could get assistance, was when employees knew they would receive a tip. For example, I saw a situation where a woman needed assistance going up the steps with her baby stroller, and several employees simply watched her struggle without offering assistance. The pool was nice, but you have to bring your own towels from your room! Elevators not functioning properly. The hotel was not filled up, yet one evening I timed the elevator wait at 16 minutes. I was given incorrect instructions for the safe deposit box (so that they have to send someone up to help and of course tip them). I ended up cutting my stay and moving to a different hotel near Parque Lleras. The service was infinitely better, and they have 0 stars.

The location is great, you have the option of walk or take a taxi, close to malls, restaurants, clinics.

OVERALL MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT HOWEVER I WANTED TO GET A GIFT FROM THE GIFT SHOWCASE AND I ASKED FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND DESK OPERATOR I FELT WAS NOT INTERESTED TO ASSIST ME OR MAKE AN EFFORT TO HELP

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Well, none of these days I had wifi connection in my room. Unfortunately since I was traveling I had to work and it requires an Internet connection, so every time I needed to do some thing I had to go all the way down to the lobby. I told the staff about the problem several times and finally the last day got fixed, at 10 in the mining when I was about to check out. The staff didn't clean the room 1 out of the 3 days, so I was a bit dissapointed with it.

Great location. Nice views of the city. Requested two double beds, but got one queen bed and a twin in the middle of the room, taking all the space to move around. Promised a welcome cocktail, but all we got was a fruit juice. It's not a 5 star hotel, maybe a 4

The hotel for the most part was good and reliable. But.... the wireless internet was the worst I've ever had in my life. It didn't work half the time, the other half the time it was horrible. To use the internet I had to go downstairs to the lobby. It was very difficult to work. Also the hotel I thought was a little overpriced and there are better values elsewhere. If you don' t mind horrible internet and overpaying a little bit, I can say other than that, the hotel is good.
