Room 508 during Hajj 2017. Hotel requested a deposit to use laundry- fair enough . On departure , no refund issued . Poor communication for a 5 star hotel . They have a 'dont care " attitude . Called numerous times .
I stayed in this hotel in 2013 when I came for hajj. On that time it was excellent. I wrote on TripAdvisor that this hotel is most luxurious I've ever stayed in. This time when I was coming for Hajj I brought 10 people with me saying that this is best hotel. But it's not the same. Check in was good. Guys on front desk were very nice with smile. But first shock was when porter left my luggage trolley saying that I'll take just one person's luggage. So me and my nephew took our stuff ourselves in rooms. Rooms are excellent and clean. No complaints about that. Cleaning staff is very good. Second problem is restaurant. We had to queue up for table like post office in U.K. Adil manager is very professional person so he tried to handle it nicely but still not a good standard for this kind of hotel. Second shock was a waiter who was very rude and unprofessional. They need to give them more training. I know hajj time is very busy but restaurant staff need to be more polite. Amin the morning chief is an professional person. Even made mistake but realised straight away. All these comments are for hotel management so they can sort things out for future. Our room numbers are 1007/1010/1013/1005 Just a prove that I brought 10 people and not had a good time on this occasion:
The hotel provided the best service, staff are very friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent. The staff in the kitchen always looked after their customers. Rooms, lifts and the whole hotel is so clean.
The hotel provides excellent service. Location is perfect, there are rooms with Ka'aba view and some with city view. The restaurant is excellent, I tried the breakfast and lunch and they were absolutely great. Spa is luxurious as well.
By far, I just would like to confirm what everyone knows already. It is indeed the best in Makkah. In general, the staff are very friendly and we were satisfied with all of them. A special thanks to Mr. Chakiri at the reception and Mr. Faris that have made this trip a memorable one that tempts you to come back more often to the best city in the world.
Visited Mecca for the "small Hajj" - Umrah pilgrimage as a government guest. Otherwise I would surely not be able to afford this splendid hotel, offering all possible amenities. From enjoying it a man has to be careful - and not forget his spiritual duties, why he is actually there
not recommended... late check in... low floor... no view of Kaaba although it is presidential suite.....price is very high comparing to the very very poor service... informed them of check in @ 02 PM but room not ready and no single word of apology,.... check in after 04-30 PM!!!!!!
In the most time in visiting Makkah, select Raffles Makkah Palace. My family are exciting to choose this hotel, also my parents, too, it is so close AlGaram. It is so clean at the room and quite to sleep in. Thank you to all staff.
They arr not. Lean at all they gave me a suite when i first get in the bathroom i found a stool on the floor ! How come , i reported to them this problem they change the suit to 2 another one with the same problem
The hotel is located in front of the holy mosque. You can reach it within 5 minutes from your room(including the elevators time)..just few steps of of king Abdul Aziz gate..the suite size is big enough to have 2 children or more..the bed, the sofa looks like new..there are 2 bathrooms, one of them has shower and banio. The breakfast is something you don't wanna miss..plenty of plates of cheese.eggs.arabian fool. Fruits and sweets.
