The property is gorgeous and just the right amount of off the beaten path. Our host was communicative and helpful, especially with the main bathroom, which is very hi tech! Definitely will be coming back again!

The house is a gem nestled off the beaten track. It was exactly as advertised and completely met our needs (eventually). The 'smart' shower and commode in the master suite was a real treat. It was also nice to view the fish in the pond and the stars at night were pretty clear.However, the check-in process was way below expectations. By 5:30 pm there was still no check-in instructions or door code provided. It took a phone call to VRBO to get them to intercede to get that information provided (I think the host was having problems with his VRBO host app, but that shouldn't be my problem/inconvenience). Later that evening we realized that wi-fi log-on and password was not provided. The host responded to that message rather quickly and all was well from that point on. I wouldn't let my review deter you from considering this property. Sometimes apps just don't work the way they should. I would consider renting this property again the next time I stay in the Lake City area.

Family Getaway

The host was incredible when it came to communication. We had a few minor hiccups, but all in all it's a great place. The pingpong table fell day 2 and there was no pizza oven. BUT, the place is absolutely stunning and overall we had a great time. I would definitely recommend for relaxation.

Wedding weekend

Place was beautiful had lots of space and wildlife. We stayed because it was close the wedding venue for my son. I Really enjoyed the smart shower! Overall a great experience!
