We had a mini friends and family get together with people traveling from the UK, Florida, and two sides of Virginia. Needless to say, some of the party was very tired after traveling, while the Virginians were eager to play. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone’s needs very comfortably. The property was just as described in the listing and very clean!! It was beautifully decorated, with such great attention to detail - probably the best stocked short-term rental that we’ve stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised to find each cabinet and drawer in the kitchen labeled and clear instructions for just about anything you might think of using in the house. A nice stress-reducer! Everyone said their bed was comfortable and the one person that didn’t care for the pillows on his bed was able to find the perfect one with all the extras in the various bedrooms. The fenced yard and wrap around porch were great for the dogs as we spent much time chatting around the fire table. And, the hot tub and the massage chair did get put to good use.We very much enjoyed the many things to do in area, the peaceful location, and the comfort of the house. We definitely want to do a return trip!!

Great location, awesome cottage!

Everyone in our family loved our stay in Massanutten at Nate’s cottage! Hosts were excellent, easy to communicate with and attended to every detail. The cabin was perfect for our family size of three adults two young adults and three kids. We especially loved the massage chair. Plenty of games to occupy the kids and lots of space to relax. Feel like living in a treehouse when you sit and enjoy you coffee on the large wraparound deck. Great place! Highly recommend!

Great place for a weekend of winter fun

The house was great. Very comfortable and enough room to spread out with four teenagers. Great proximity to the mountain and after a day and night of snow falling, the resort did an excellent job of clearing the street.

Great getaway

Fantastic house to stay in enough room for everyone to have space and come together throughout the day. The patio and deck were great for hanging outdoors a hot tub, of course was always a plus. Nate was easy to keep in touch with nothing went wrong while we were there. All in all perfect location for getting together or hanging out with friends.

Excellent ski trip house!

My wife and I took our four teenagers and lab for a couple days of skiing. The property is perfect if you have a dog in tow, as there is a kennel ready available, and an excellent fenced in yard and wraparound porch for your pup to explore.The hot tub and massage chair were perfect for after ski recovery.The kitchen was easy to use and all the necessary cookware and utensils were available.There are games such as shuffleboard and foosball to play, and there are plenty of TVs, ready to use, which makes relaxing easy.We would definitely stay here again on another ski retreat.

Great Pet Friendly Gathering Place

We had a great stay with family to celebrate Christmas. The home is very pet and kid friendly, fenced yard, games and an amazing massage chair that all the adults enjoyed. Nate was great to work with. We had a hiccup with checkin time due to a cleaning staff member calling out sick. Nate was great at offering solutions and we had a great stay!!! Well stocked home, though you may want to bring some plastic / aluminum wrap if you’re making meals. Lovely very clean! Thank you for a great family holiday!!

Family Christmas Gathering

Host Nate was very responsive from day one. The home was everything we thought it would be from the picture and details listed. The game room, hot tub, and massage chair were lovely. The massage chair alone was a huge hit for the family. We also enjoyed movies while resting comfortably by the fireplace and we had lots of laughs around the dining room table. Last but not least, the beds were awesome. Best sleep we had in a long time. We are considering having a family trip once a year and staying at this property. Thank you, Nate!

Snow Fun

This property was ideally located for our tweens and teens to easily experience many winter activity firsts like ice skating, snow tubing, and skiing, and the home setup gave nice separation for play indoors. The home was "over the top" well-appointed, and Natecouldn't have been more responsive. The gas fireplaces and big screen TVs, adaptable to your streaming service, were enjoyed by all! Our pup loved having access to a sufficient fenced in yard that overlooked the beautifully lit ski slopes and golf course. We hope to return in warmer climes to try out the golf, hiking trails, and the many other activities the area offers.couldn't have been screen

Vacation in Massanutten

My spouse and I went with 2 friends for a week. The location and fenced yard for our dog were great. The house could use a deep cleaning. It was okay but could have been cleaner. The deck/porch/ yard could have used some leaf removal. I did get access to a blower once I contacted the host. The housekeepers should use stainless steel cleaner on appliances. The beds were all extremely comfortable.
