We have stayed at VP many times, normally 5 days at a time and as many as 60 days ! When checking in on this most recent visit I requested the suite that we have previously enjoyed and was told that the reservation we made through Orbitz was ridiculously low and that we would have to stay in another suite. Turns out the suite they assigned us was easier to get to, everything functioned properly and it was cleaner. Exact same footprint and all amenities the same except for the living room sofa, it was not a sofa sleeper. We sleep together, there were only two of us. No problem there. The faceless person in the back room giving instructions to the front desk staff should be demoted to groundskeeper.
We say here 3-4 times a year for a 5-7 days for 4 years now. One trip for for 2 months. Highly recommend.
Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the suite. It’s like an entire apartment with full kitchen. Don’t get a regular room. They are small Like very small. The suites arnt that much more and are huge! Even has a huge walk in closet and separate bedroom

There was a full equipped kitchen, walk-in closet, comfy living room. Very spacious and pleasant.

We loved the privacy of the pool and hot tub at the back of the inn. Also enjoyed the beautiful palm lined streets to walk on.
Check in person was rude and could not hear him as he would not speak into the microphone. Early 80’s feel to the room, complete with shag carpet, outdated furniture with cigarette stains on the dressers, and literally 20 year old sheets with old cigarette stains and burns on them. Clean for the most part, didn’t feel safe there. Will not return if there is any way I can avoid it.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. But it was outdated, laughably so. The TV was too small and too high. I could not get the shower to turn on, although there was plenty of hot water. And there was no stopper to take a bath. I had to squat in the tub and wash myself. King size bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. There are way better hotels and motels for this price point.
We stayed in a suite for under a $100.00. Our room was clean, comfortable, a central to our needs. We've stayed with them 4-5 times. Highly recommended and will use them again.
Have stayed at Victoria Palms Hotel and Suites, plus the resort area, for seventeen years. It declined in quality a few years ago, but when I returned this year I found it very nice. I hope to return again next year. The rates are excellent, considering everything that goes with the room, or suite.
