I have been coming to this resort/hotel for many years and find myself not wanting to go anywhere else. The staff are the best, Juan, Oscar, Antonio never leave me feeling unattended.
This hotel made you feel welcolm from the moment you set foot on the property. The staff is more like family and freinds than workers. They are always attentive and know your name whenever you see them. the food and drinks are SUPER and a great variety to choose from A must for families and plenty of activities to do during day. The beach is nice and clean makes for great walks will come back!
Great hotel needs some upgrades, overall is a an exelent experience the small bad stuuf gets out of the way very quickly, one of the best hotels on Mazatlan for the price paid, all suites have a look in to beach, needs more cabanas, more staff, and more food selections, still I love the place.
We had a great time! Loved the all inclusive aspect if our stay. Ate (and drank) a lot, and didn't pay any extra at checkout. Really enjoyed the poolside wait staff.
Hosted activities and music at one of the pools. If you don't like your room get another better one. We did and we're much happier in the new one.
Another great vacation in Mazatlan. We enjoyed our say a lot: the beach is beautiful, nice sand and great waves, not crowded, clean pools, great restaurants, friendly staff; amazing food especially at Cilantro's.
Excellent service. Hotel rooms had a humid smell. They need to be updated.
Great hotel and wonderful staff. We will. R going back next year.
Centrally located but since hotel will be undergoing a renovation due to it's 30 year anniversary they have not maintained the hotel to it's expectations. Beds has mattress that were sunk in, our bed had bugs and our AC began to make weird loud noises at night. We did complain and they switched us to another room that had smaller beds with sunk in mattress again. I ended up sleeping on a couch without a pullout bed because that's all they had available. Besides, the service at the restaurant was terrible. It took about 45 minutes to get our meals and there was only 3 other families there. Overall, terrible experience at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlán.
really a very good experience, all my family enjoy this trip, good food, very nice beach
very nice hotel, big room, good food, very good pool, nice view, clean beach
It was a very nice stay. I would stay there again The staff was nice and I enjoyed it
In overall the place is good. The only very strange thing is the all inclusive is actually a la carte and the service is from 8am to 10pm. After 10pm you do not have any service or all inclusive.
Spent 2 nights at the hotel lounging by the pool and eating delicious meals. The food is amazing and the waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Front Desk staff are not as welcoming and nice. Highly recommend!
This is a very difficult review. Let's start with the positive. The size of the PB was great, not overwhelming. Fantastic beach. The pool activities were fun. Wonderful pools and hot tubs. Gardening was well taken care of and very nice. The overall feel of the PB is fantastic UNTIL ... you open the door into your room. My oh my, Mildew city! The mildew smell and humidity of the rooms were a little more than I can describe. Our clothes that were hung in the closet even smelled like mildew and were damp. It really was a disappointment. The a/c did not work properly, and was a long hot and humid night. Unfortunately there was also bugs in the kitchenette area, in the sink and counter. I had to keep coffee, coffee creamer and sugar in the fridge. We didn't bring any foods into the room at all. The 2nd day I almost stepped on a cockroach also. It was just so disappointing because most of the service people were terrific, Juan and Alfredo especially. Great efforts were daily by staff to keep up the landscape/pool areas . We met alot of great people that were actually staying at the Emerald Bay, but came daily to PB Mazatlan for the beach. The other thing that was bothersome was how PB have you sign a receipt after every meal, or day at the beach while having drinks or meals. total due was zero, but always a TIP line and signature to be filled in. We have stayed at many all inclusives and have never felt that there might be 'hidden expenses'. It was like a constant begging for tips, yet were told by several service people that they don't actually see those tips on these receipt and IF we were to tip, would prefer cash. It seemed like they were trying to force you to tip via giving you this reciept to 'sign' after food/beverage service. It was sad, because we had a great time, enjoyed the facility outside, but would not stay there again.
Don't hesitate and book! Wonderful hotel with awesome staff, great food & drinks! I usually don't like to go back to the same hotels as I like to experience new places but I will return to this hotel! Wonderful Resort!!
We had a large family group and the hotel was very good about making sure we were all in the same area and relatively close to each other. The regular suites are great, the upgraded suite is bigger but IMO not really worth the money. The layout was actually less functional for us.
Everything was great as usual. Room was clean, staff were very friendly. Was a little disappointed that you had to take the Pueblo Bonito shuttle to Emerald Bay for the all inclusive theme nights. Would not have done All Inclusive if we had known that, but the on site restaurants were fine. Ocean views were great from our room. Plan to return here again.
The only good thing about this hotel is the food. Excellent food and I really enjoyed eating here. One problem is that at the restaurant, they try everything so you leave tip. Considering that I got all inclusive, it was not cool. Some of them were rude because I did not leave tip after dinner. The rooms are big but very old and humid! We had chance to go to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay(about 15 minutes driving) and boy, what a difference! do not stay at pueblo bonito mazatlan unless you are looking to tour the city. I suggest you to pay a little more and stay at pueblo bonito Emerald Bay. It is 100 times better, the rooms are better, restaurants are better, pools are huge and clean.
