I have been coming here twice a year for a long time. The beach is the best in town and the staff is amazing. Patty at the front desk and Juan, Oscar, Alfredo, Antonio, Mateo at the pool. They make me feel at home every time.

We have been going here for 12 years now and they are in the middle of a remodel. They have completed 1/2 of the rooms but they don't really seem to be ready to be open. The other side is completely closed down. The new rooms are nice, but not ready to be lived in. The beach is great. Depending on the day the waves are good for boogie boarding. Arturo will rent you some boards. The new adult pool is nice just doesn't have a lot of space to walk. The rules say no radios, but it seems like there was a lack of rules or security during our visit. We are not a fan of mariachi and it seemed like there was no way to get a way from it. People were playing it loud on the radio by the pool and on the beach there were live bands playing on the beach and even using the resorts beach chairs. We always liked watching the sun go down, but a couple nights the bands were just too loud and right next to each other playing different "music?" we had to go to our rooms. The sliding doors at least muffed the tuba. This is supposed to be the good part, so I have to mention the staff. The wait staff is great. Oscar was a great beach waiter and Bruno made me actually like sushi at one of the restaurants.

Beautiful resort. Staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. The resort is currently under renovation, but they are handling transition very well. Food was outstanding and drinks were flowing. If renovation doesn't raise the price out of our league, we will definitely return.

The needed renovations are underway and zero inconvenience was experienced as construction is well separated from any guest areas and activities. The staff make this great place even greater. Oscar and Juan are the best.

We got upgraded to a suite witch was so nice right next to the beach we got the all inclusive however menu don’t change so aside of the alcohol don’t think it was worth it

We have been going to Mazatlan off and on for over 20 years and have always chosen to stay at the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. We knew that the hotel was undergoing room renovations but what we weren't told was what that meant. First, we discovered that nobody could use the second "quiet pool" so we all had to crowd around the main pool with its loud music and even louder activities. On the third day of our stay, Cilantro, the beachfront restaurant , was closed (without any notice) meaning that we now had only one choice for both breakfast and lunch. When we asked, we were told that Cilantro will be undergoing major renovations and will be closed indefinitely. Angelo's which is the only other choice for dinner is more formal, requires reservations and has only a 6 pm or 8 pm seating option. There is no longer any entertainment or theme nights as there have been in the past. We did go out to eat at other places off of the property but that is an expensive option if you are already paying for all inclusive. The renovations will not be completed until 2020. We might try it again then.

In the middle of huge 1 year long renovation Noisy Dusty Non stop

We've coming to this hotel for years, have tried others, but can't find one better. The All-inclusive service is the only way to go. The Emerald Bay sister hotel is too far away, there's nothing close by and the beach is full of rocks. The original Pueblo Bonito is a medium walk or a short taxi ride to the main downtown area, shopping and the "Malecon" being remodeled. Great breakfast, lunch snacks and dinners. Their poolside activities are great for kids of all ages. Taking a kayak out to the island is more than worth the price! Thanks Steve. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The grounds, pool, restaurants and beach were just wonderful. The staff was great at helping us out with what our needs were. Getting us a taxi to arranging a massage. Had a bit of a problem with our first room and we were change to a new one immediately, no questions. The staff was a 5 star. The sunsets were the best all but one night. Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Stayed for a week and had a great time. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful.

We are a family of four, parents + 2 kids and pretty comfortable in a studio suite. We had all inclusive package so no need to use the stove or microwave in the mini kitchen. We only use the mini refrigerator to keep our drinking water cool. Although the resort is 30 years old, it is well maintained and clean. Some minor things that can make the stay more comfortable: more hangers for 4 towels in the bathroom and more racks on the balcony for drying our swim suits and pool towels. Food and services in restaurants are pretty good. Though, the breakfast buffet at Las Palomas needs to have different varieties from one day to the other and to provide some whole fruit that we can grab one or two to go for the day. We were craving for fruit during the day and had to go out to buy them. It would be nice to have it included in our inclusive pack. Staff is helpful, the one we ran across were Jesus, Israel and Cindy. In general, we would give it a 4 out of 5 and would go again and recommend it to friends.

Been coming here for a few years now and get treated like an old friend every time I come back. Have to mention in particular the service and friendship exhibited by Juan, Antonio, Oscar, & Jesus.

Restaurant services need improvements. Some servers were not friendly and not polite at this hotel.

I have been coming to this resort/hotel for many years and find myself not wanting to go anywhere else. The staff are the best, Juan, Oscar, Antonio never leave me feeling unattended.

This hotel made you feel welcolm from the moment you set foot on the property. The staff is more like family and freinds than workers. They are always attentive and know your name whenever you see them. the food and drinks are SUPER and a great variety to choose from A must for families and plenty of activities to do during day. The beach is nice and clean makes for great walks will come back!

Great hotel needs some upgrades, overall is a an exelent experience the small bad stuuf gets out of the way very quickly, one of the best hotels on Mazatlan for the price paid, all suites have a look in to beach, needs more cabanas, more staff, and more food selections, still I love the place.

We had a great time! Loved the all inclusive aspect if our stay. Ate (and drank) a lot, and didn't pay any extra at checkout. Really enjoyed the poolside wait staff.

Beautiful resort. Staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. The resort is currently under renovation, but they are handling transition very well. Food was outstanding and drinks were flowing. If renovation doesn't raise the price out of our league, we will definitely return.
