In general is great ., restaurants wise la Paloma horrible food. At the sport bar was pretty good

I think the only issue is the internet. A bit slow The rest is quite comfortable

While the resort was advertised as all-inclusive, we got there and it is not. It also said there are three onsite restaurants, which is true. However, the Beach Bar was only open for two of the eight days we were there. The third restaurant was a mile walk away and basically has an almost identical menu as the main hotel restaurant. We regularly waited for up to an hour before even receiving menus. When we wanted to take an excursion into town, the front desk personnel were only mildly helpful and said the "hotel shuttle" was only available Tuesdays and Fridays. When our shuttle came, it was a regular taxi... that we had to pay for. Overall, the hotel/resort was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well kept, the views were amazing. But lackluster service, lack of food and activity choices really soured the experience for us. I don't think we'll go back to Las Villas.

Very peaceful and close to international airport. I will stay there again

We wanted to experience the Day of the Dead in Mexico. 2 couples, 2 kids and 1 grandmother in attendance. 3 rooms. 2 in the main building; 1 in the outer building. All rooms were perfect! This hotel is in a gated community and we felt safe at all times. Their beach is beautiful and soft sand. Evenings were perfect times for my kids to collect shells and sand dollars. Gustavo was the best waiter in the restaurant. Service with a smile. Jose Luis was the pool/beach server. He was very attentive and even brought lounge chairs to the beach and dug down to set the umbrella; without us even asking! Isaac was our concierge. He listened to what we wanted to do and planned activities for us. We wanted to go downtown (30 mins ride in the shuttle) He even made sure we had a ride/shuttle back to the hotel after hours. He asked the front desk to get us boogie boards to use in the ocean. He planned a trip to an island and fishing. We were able to see the Sea Turtle sanctuary too! We are not people who like to party all night long. That is for downtown. This resort does not have a nightlife; which we loved. I think the bar closed down at 11pm. Outdoor bar at 6pm. Peace, quiet and unbeatable views.

The food & food service was 5 star. The food staff was amazing.

Very nice hotel, very nice view. Very pleasant stay.

Hotel and rented condos with golf course near airport, good if you don't want to go into Mazatlán or want to be more isolated. Food is very good at restaurants.

Transportation is limited unless you rely on facility shuttle or have your own car. Purchase food and drink for your condo before you come. Wonderful natural beach and Sea Turtle Restoration in the area is very impressive. The best security and care for guests.

I love this resort! Super Serene and private! Food at both restaurants was delicious and well prepared...waiters were super efficient and professional!

It is a great place to stay if you just want a romantic getaway... It is far from the tourist area. We loved the beach very nice and warm specially very clean

Staff while friendly, are absent at times. Restaurant service hours are very limited.

Want to say 2 things first of all: 1) the staff members we met on arrival were all very courteous and as accommodating as possible; 2) although the hotel initially appeared deserted, it was expecting a large group of government officials (accompanied by security forces)... we were not told to expect this. The rooms we were shown were dirty, dingy and worn. Fortunately, we had the alternative of staying in a friend's condo nearby, and so we took advantage of that and sacrificed our money spent on the hotel. The condo and it's grounds were far superior to the hotel. So, despite this - and a bait-and-switch experience with the car rental agency and the worthless car insurance we had paid for - we nevertheless managed to have a very nice week's stay in the Mazatlán area.

ok, need car to travel to city & I believe it would be very helpful for You to speak Spanish found very few people who spoke English
