Primrose Lodge Stay - July 25

Lovely cottage, small and cosy with everything you need for a relaxing break, set in beautiful open countryside. Ideal base for visiting local places of interest and tourist attractions. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely property, and easy to contact the owner as we had visitors and needed extra table and chairs for the garden - provided and much appreciated

Beautiful Area

We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful. the area especially was superb. We didn't make it to London because there was so much to see in the area. We loved it and would return. Thank you for your hospitality.

Loved staying at Primrose Cottage. It is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. We were over for my grandsons wedding and enjoyed site seeing around the area. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Primrose Lodge

Primrose Lodge has everything you could wish for. The space has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed and is extremely comfortable. Everything provided for here - comfortable bed, huge bath, well equipped kitchen and a very efficient wood burner, with a generous supply of logs, that kept us warm and toasty through the recent cold spell. The location is perfect - just a 5 minute drive from the pretty village of Mayfield or a 15 minute from Tunbridge Wells. Loads of great pubs and walks very close by. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and attentive.

Home from home

Really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Primrose Lodge, just what we needed as worked all through Covid. The views are amazing and the cottage is a beautiful home from home. Did not want to leave! The dog loved it too and we will certainly return :)

The cottage is really comfortable

We had a great time at Primrose Lodge! The cottage is really comfortable and we also enjoyed sitting outside a lot as the weather was mostly fine. The area is nice for hiking and we also visited some interesting National trust Properties - we loved Monk's House and Ightham Mote in particular.

Lovely snug cottage to come back to.

Fantastic week in the early autumn sunshine. Lots of walks with the dog, lots of National Trust properties visited - Sheffield Park, Standen and Scotney Castle being the best for autumn colours. Lovely snug cottage to come back to.

Cozy Cottage in wunderful surroundings

Thank you for our stay in this cozy and tastefully decorated cottage. It was especially nice to have breakfast in the sun on the bench in front of the house with a view of the greenery. The location is ideal for trips to beautiful gardens and country houses. We especially enjoyed Scotney Castle and Sisdinghurst Garden!

What a lovely and charming place to stay!

At every moment of the day and night we enjoyed the tranquility in the beautiful natural surroundings. The sheep, the birds and the overwhelming colours of Spring were fantastic. The cottage is truly perfect, beautifully furnished and decorated as it is, with an eye for-utterly charming detail. We felt spoilt here, and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The owners provided everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for taking such good care.

Nice Quiet Break

Accommodation was perfect for the two of us, everthing we needed was provided for. We arrived on a lovely sunny, winters day and 24 hours later the first snow of the year descended on us! The woodburner kept us snug for the rest of the week! We enjoyed the different walks which are easily accessible around the property. Plenty of options to visit, should you wish to venture out!
