Very mice hotel located at an amzaing beach- Le morne. Excellent and exceptional services given by all the staff; a special thank's to Yannick; customers relationship manager who took care of us and gave us a magnificent stay at the hotel. As well as Madvi! Many thank's to you both!

The Paridis is in a beautiful location and main facilities are incredibly elegant. However, my overall experience here was not pleasant. The check in staff very was arrogant. We were served an iced lemon greeting drink which was actually very warm water at the bottom with lemon and ice on top. The person assigned to explain the facilities to us found my American accent very humorous. He warned me that the dress code for dining was long pants and covered shoes. Once he realized that was what I was wearing there was an odd tension. While loading my luggage into one of the golf carts used to take guests from reception to the accommodation facilities one of the staff made a joke to another staff member that I was bringing a bottle of water with me, not knowing that I understood French. What was most unusual is that after I put my bags in my room and relaxed on a lounge chair on the beach, I was approached out of the blue by a very persistent local trying to sell me a game of Mauritian ‘solitaire’; then by another salesman trying to sell me beach towels. Apparently the Paridis allows locals to walk up and down the main pathway along the beach trying to sell the guests shells, games, towels etc. I told the front desk that I did not intend to spend my vacation battling with salesman while I’m trying to relax and they told me to “just tell them to go away”. Mind you this is all on their property, not some public beach. On a positive note the La Palma restaurant on the beach was a great experience. Thinking back the waiter was hesitant about giving us a table on the sand as they describe in their book but eventually agreed. Get there early because they close at 10PM.
