Big hotel with a lot of facilities, and rooms were good size and always cleaned very well. Beach was lovely with a stunning view of Le Morne Brabant from the water. Strongly advise the hotel to inform guests prior to arrival to bring beach shoes.
Food was fantastic, with lots of variety especially for vegetarians however my only criticism is that some foods are not clearly marked with allergies / what is vegetarian. Food at the à la carte restaurants is great, but we couldn’t get into any of the restaurants in Turquoise hotel despite attempting to book the moment we checked into the hotel which is disappointing.
Some great bar staff with a special shout out to Nikesh and Bradley who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service and make some delicious drinks. However some inconsistency amongst the bar staff, with certain members refusing to make certain drinks that others were willing to make, and one particular staff member at the pool bar who seemed to have an attitude each time we visited the bar.
Another shout out to the lady providing the towels. Always service with a smile, so lovely to talk with and have a beautiful flower with every towel - it’s the little things like this which make it a stand out service.
Reception were quite poor from pre check in (not replying to emails and I had to chase) all the way to check out. It was a common “computer says no” response every time so it’s a terrible first and last impression for the hotel.
