Lovely hotel near to Chateau Chambord

Well pleased with room - booked standard double but given family room with terrace: Very comfortable, spacious and quiet on rooftop area. Pool was really lovely. So convenient for Chateau de Chambord. Didn't have breakfast here, but had a very good evening meal. Best to reserve table for evening meal directly. I had booked online using emailed survey from hotel which asked if I had any requests, but despite confirmation, they could not actually give me a table in the restaurant at the time I had requested, as it was very busy.

A lovely stay with lots of fun in the pool. Some of the staff were excellent, others less friendly. The family room we had was pretty compact and ours was quite noisy from the kitchen/staff area

Muy mala experiencia

La experiencia fue bastante mala. Al llegar al hotel no recibimos ni siquiera unas palabras de bienvenida. Nos dejaron esperando como 10 minutos y después nos dieron la llave y no nos explicaron ni dónde estaba la habitación. Tuvimos que pasar con las maletas por medio de un camino lleno de piedras porque no nos dijeron que había una escalera dentro del hotel para poder subir, sí el hotel no tenía elevador. Cuando fuimos a comer al restaurante en la noche vimos todas las cestas de pan llenas de moscas. Después comenzó una tormenta y entró agua al restaurante. También se fue la corriente y nos dijeron que no podían darnos nada de comer. Después cuando vino la corriente lo único que nos iban a dar era ensalada y unos quesos. La mesera nos trató bien mal. Al otro día cuando nos pusieron las toallas, estaban con un olor insoportable y manchadas. Tampoco hicieron las camas. Estas también tenían unas sábanas que daban bastante calor. El aire no estaba muy bueno tampoco. La verdad este ha sido el peor hotel que hemos visitado.

Great for a short stay, pool area is very good and the room was spacious. Food was hit and miss in the restaurant had a steak and couldn’t cut it without shaking the bottle of water off the table, I did mention this to the staff as couldn’t eat it and they just shrugged and walked away. Hotel is in a great location for the chambord castle.

Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room.

Good hotel, the only suggestions I would like to provide to the hotel is to remove laundry facilities from your amenities list as I was told by the front desk that there were none on the property. One of the main reasons I select a hotel when I travel with a family is because of coin operated laundry facilities. Also, for dinner service there was only 1 waitress who had to serve over a dozen tables by herself so she was never able to come check on us.

Great price and location.

Good price 20 min bike ride from Chambord. Nice big door into gravel area to load bikes. Helpful staff. Restaurant questionable.
