This is a 4 star hotel and in my opinion there are some things they need to improve. The front desk employees don’t speak well English, Saturday and Sunday dinner no food to serve at the hotel restaurant neither room service. Besides that the staff are friendly and the hotel facilities are clean and nice. Breakfast they can improve as well, you don’t have variety.
Being a Marriott member, we made a stopover one night stay before our cruise trip in Marseille. Clean room and basic restaurant. Did not realise it is located far from city center. Taxi ride from airport was expensive and also expensive to cruise terminal. Not much to do or sight seeing around hotel except stadium. Should have stay near old port hotel and save on taxi fare
Went here in business. Hotel is modern and clean. Some traffic outside but nothing disturbing. The restaurant is not as good as the rest of the hotel. Its nice and clean and all but the staff appear to be amateurs. I had to wait almost half an hour to order yet only seven tables were occupied. When I finally did get to order and got my food it was a complete disappointment. Salmon tartar tasted nothing. Then the veal burger clearly had spent quite some time in a microwave oven before served. This calls for a proper restaurant manager to set things straight I would say.
This hotel was very reasonably priced and when we arrived the staff were pleasant and very helpful. ( even helped us order a late night pizza) The rooms are comfortable but are quite small. My wife and I were having to squeeze past each other to get to things in the room. It very well located close to the Stadium and also the metro, and it's about a 30 minute walk through shop lined streets to get to the marina in Marseille. I would definitely stay here again. Well worth the money.
Nice hotel well positioned near a metro stop and key event centers. The reception staff were very friendly and always helpful providing directions, getting cabs, etc. Rooms are nice and quite modern. Upgraded rooms are the ones that face the stadium instead of the main road.
Contemporary hotel in great location next to stadium & close to metro making access into Marseille centre easy. Rooms spacious & clean. Large tv. Fridge with selection of soft drinks & snacks. Separate cubicles for WC & shower with a basin in cordoned area within the bedroom. Reception staff very helpful & efficient.
My hubby and I stayed at this hotel while in Marseille France. The staff were very helpful. Anything you needed, they were there. The hotel itself is modern and new. Very clean. Really liked staying here. Thanks
Stayed for a 1 night stop over in a Superior King Room. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and functional. The hotel is a bit far from points of interest and restaurants but aside from it's location it is a lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to stay if you need a solid sleep in a comfy and clean bed.
We stayed here over a weekend in September 2017. The room was reasonably sized and functional. The sink is part of the living area but the toilet is separate. The first morning I discovered a sizable chunk of white fluffy mold on their dried ham and my partner struggled to find a clean coffee cup. Ham was replaced and so were the cups but my request to talk to the person in charge was met with 'oh, monsieur, the manager is not here today, he will be here tomorrow'. The next morning they acted as if nothing happened and the manager never showed up to offer an excuse. I would avoid their breakfast until they have carried out a serious review of their food safety standards.
Arrived late, receptionist asked 15eur or sth like that for car, but I parked across the street for free. Weird. This is highway prostitution district. There are many prostitutues along the road in front of the hotel. I could see from my window, cars stopping by and bargaining. The internet, albeit free, if you can manage to get on it. I spend more time trying to get on it, then I am on it. The receptionist was clueless as to why it wasnt working. The breakfast isnt worth the price. And one more annoying thing: The housekeepers seems too eager to clean your room. After they knock the door they dont wait and feel free to enter, and it was 9:30am and we were in bed for god sake. Then she did it again at 10 and 10:20. It became so annoying, I turned her naked and shouted, shot the door! There is no communication between the reception and housekeeping. I am in the room and I havent checked out - what part of they they didnt get it! There is only one upside: clean and spacious.
