Visited the Riad from 29th July till 3rd August . We arrived not sure what to expect . We were greeted by Samir ( think it's spelt correctly ) . We were early from airport so mint tea and Moroccan sweets were served . We then were showed our room . Wow . It was very very nice . The Riad was about 20 minutes walk to the main square but the walk takes you through the markets and other tradional shops . We returned and walked through the markets nr the Riad . But as soon as you are in the Riad there is peace and quiet . The roof terrace is lovely with hats and towels provided. The nights sleep was bliss . Quiet and with the air con, perfect . The breakfast was different each morning with home made yogurt and fruit . Toast ,bread and pastries also served. Joel takes over from 6pm again very welcoming and full of local knowledge . The whole experience was 1st class . Don't go any where else ! Give this Riad a chance and you will love it . We did ..
Love this place! My wife and myself had a three night break in Marrakech and was brilliant, The Riad is so peaceful and relaxing and outside is Busy, my only tip is to download GPS on your phone to get around the Madina which you will find so useful other than that enjoy!
We booked the only suite. Entering the Riad we felt within one second in another world! Outside very loud. Inside the quiet paradise of an Arabic world. In the North-West inside the Medina and close to their wall, you just walk 3 minutes from taxi stop to the Riad. Breakfast and ordered Taijine-dinner at evening where absolutely delicious! The staff was the most friendly, we ever found. Bed, shower and bath equepment comfortable and clean. The roof garden is well designed also in details and so relaxing for having a nap or reading a book. - We enjoyed it in every point of view! We are travelers in the age of 67 and 68.
The riad was everything you could wish for, the décor, facilities, food and the extremely helpful staff of which nothing was too much trouble. Having the facility to have dinner in the riad very helpful as there is a very limited choice of food available within walking distance
We stayed here for three nights in March and we loved it. Unless you know Marrakech I would recommend you arrange a transfer with them direct as it really isn't easy to find and is based in quite a residential area of Marrakech. When I say really residential we really didn't see many other tourists at all & you walk up back streets lined with stalls and rugs selling vegetables to get there. That said we loved it as we got to experience the real Marrakech, not just the square. The property is beautiful, just stunning. Service is impeccable. All of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time and kept it running as smoothly as possible for us, even confirming tours we had booked with other companies for us when requested. We also had an incident when we couldn't contact our tour operator and the manager arranged us another tour at 5pm for the next morning which was seamless. Such good service. Our bedroom was set off the inner courtyard which at first was a little close to the action as our bed was literally a few metres from the breakfast table! But we got used to it and actually it was super convenient to leave and get back and eat etc. But if you want more privacy request a room upstairs. The bedroom and bathroom was beautiful and the air conditioning worked well although the property stayed quite cool. Food was delicious, breakfast was different each day and included cakes, breads, yogurts and fruit and was a real Moroccan meal. We also ate dinner there and can recommend it as it was delicious and such a beautiful setting to enjoy a meal in. The Riad also has a lovely roof terrace with a seating area and sun loungers if you want to relax. The manager will order taxis whenever you need them which is super helpful, but remember to carry the address of the Riad with you when you leave as otherwise its difficult to explain to taxi drivers where you need to go as it really is a hidden gem. The location is around a 20 minute walk from the centre and main square but we got taxis most of the time as we kept getting lost! We would definitely recommend Riad Zayane, the staff, property and service was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
We were a family of 5 travelling to Marrakesh. The Riad Zayane came recommended and it didn’t disappoint. My husband and I had one room and the three children had the suite which was bigger so an additional bed was put up in it. We had one one meal in which was delicious and the breakfasts were good too. All of the staff were helpful and friendly special mention to Samira and Jaouad. The Riad is so tranquil and great to escape to from the busy streets outside. The bedrooms are tastefully and traditionally decorated with little artefacts to add more interest. We loved our stay, would highly recommend it - we will return - thank you so much!
What can i say then you could't read in other 5 stars review? It is all real. The Riad looks exactly as you can see in the best pics but you won't fully understand the magic atmosphere there until you will arrive and be welcomed by Jaouad (Joe for us), Samira and Malika. If you are looking for relax, real experience, beauty, taste and everything positive that you can imagine go to Riad Zayane, you won't be disappointed I am a very demanding traveller in terms of quality and service). The walk in the medina can be a bit upsetting for beginners but this Riad is just few minutes away from the main road..and once you will across the door you will feel like in a dream... Thank you!
Where do I start...this is truly an excellent place to stay. A quiet oasis in the middle of Marrakech's buzzing and chaotic life. The riad is just beautiful, with a dreamy atmosphere, very clean and in a perfect position if you want to visit the city centre. But the best part is definitely the staff. Each one of them is extremely nice, smiling and helpful. Since the room reservation they showed they are excellent professionals and they put the customer satisfaction before anything else. If you are planning to stay a couple of days in Marrakech, do yourself a favour, and spend your nights here!
I’m writing this after spending a fantastic 4 night stay at this oasis of calm and luxury. The staff are an absolute pleasure friendly helpful fantastic service the riad itself is very clean beautifully presented rooms very good very original style there’s a roof terrace with sunloungers this is great place to sun bath the breakfast is included and is great eggs croissants toast fruit yogurt and you can book to eat in the evening the chef is fantastic we loved everymeal we had and I would say good value as well it’s everything you want from a riad in the old town safe friendly and private thanks to all the staff will definitely see you again
We stayed 4 nights in January. The Riad is small (5 rooms) but historic and elegant with cosy rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and easy to chat to. Dinner was really tasty ( with wine at a reasonable price), breakfast was basic but nice and tea/coffee were served during the day.
