Probably the worst hotel (if you can call it that) we have ever stayed in. The decor is a bit delapidated although the photos look pretty good I reckon they were probably taken years ago when it was possibly refurbished. We changed our room as soon as we got there as it was pretty ropey to another less ropey one. We didn't expect 5 star luxury but we did expect a hot shower which was really hit and miss as it was cold more often than hot. The shower heads were falling off the wall in both the first room as well as the change of room we ended up in. Maintenance seemed to be zero. The hotel didn't seem to be actually run by anyone other than mainly youngsters who weren't really that interested in their guests comfort and well-being. The staff didn't actually give the impression they were trained in hotel hospitality and there didn't seem to be a manager of any kind. The hotel didn't seem full which is not a problem but it was souless with no real vibe about it. Several rooms were void of anything actually in them. Breakfast was a complete joke, no coffee on a couple of occasions, we complained that the coffee earn was empty and all the member of staff did was tip it up and empty the 'dregs' into my wife's cup. Beds were made each day but no clean sheets. We through our towels into the shower to hopefully ensure we got fresh ones each day but I'd say that was only 50% successfull. I'm not sure the phone in the room actually worked as we asked for a wake up call for 5.30am but didn't get one, although a light tap on our door at 5.45am was I guess sufficient enough but I wouldn't rely on it if your tempted to stay here. The hotel is a lot further out from the main town and old town than some would have you believe, but buses are very cheap and taxis very reasonable but make sure you barter for a good price. All in all Poor not very poor but certainly POOR.

below is my genuine experience at this hotel, good and bad. overall we had an ok time at this hotel it was, for us, only a bed to sleep and a place to wash but we do like an ambience and it was no where to be seen here. the pool was dead and dirty, the place isn't well maintained (maybe time of year) we stayed here in April 2019. We stayed here for 10 days. not once was our bed sheets changed. we even spilt some drink on our cover and instead of changing the sheet they have us the fleece duvet in the cupboard that was dusty and far too warm for us British folk. the rooms are given a quick clean everyday at least and towels are provided although dont expect fresh ones. the breakfast is the same every day, only pastry and bread no fresh fruits or yogurt. do not order food or drink. we decided to get a beer each one night which cost us 120 dirhums. it was the most expensive beers we had bought all holiday and it was the local Casablanca. we asked for the dinner menu the previous night which they couldnt provide, they offered two dishes after asking again. the location is pretty far out, ok of you want some tranquillity but since the hotel isn't anything special you will most likely want to find somewhere else during the day and night so it isn't very ideal. take 30 minutes to walk to gueliz (city centre) and 40 minutes to the Medina. 10 to 15 minutes by bus which is good for 4dh. the staff were mostly friendly but some were unhelpful or rude, we were told off one day for bookong an excursion out with the hotel one day- first of all no one told is they offered excursions at any point and secondly they didnt have a food menu why woukd be think they would have trip menu! we "lounged" by the pool on the last day - mostly since we are so exhausted from all the walking to and from the hotel most of the hokiday (until we discovered bus) it was only us all day and the pool was a tony but cleaner . My advice is if you are like is and like a mix of chilling by the pool and touring the surroundings this is not the place to stay. however if you are only in marrakech for a few days then this would be fine for you.

This hotel looks like a rat hole. people are not welcoming at all except for maids. Dining there was horrible. Breakfast is very poor. Juice tasting like pee. The swimming pool? LMAO. it's rather a rotten basin where water's color looked more grey tan blue. I had to change three times the room and if I didn't insist they would've never done it. Not to worth to be called Marrakesh cause it spoils the beauty of this city.

Having arrived in Marrakech for a friends birthday weekend only to find our pre-booked accommodation was occupied by others we had no choice but to look for other accommodation. Regrettably this hotel was recommended by a local and we were Unable to get other accommodation online via the usual websites. This hotel did appear to be on available online and therefore we booked to fly from. Getting five rooms at short notice in Marrakesh is difficult! We arrived late in the evening and only one of us had a regular room which was ensuite. The remaining four were given a basement apartment which appeared to be the staff quarters! There was no ensuite facilities there was no towels, blankets or toilet rolls!!! The rooms were extremely poor and there were no windows! We stayed the minimal time to get a very poor and cold nights sleep and left the next morning. I would never recommend this hotel and please avoid it!!!

Hotel is 15/20 mins from centre, bus station is in front of hotel and ticket is only 4 dirhams. Staff are nice and friendly, room is comfortable, cleaners change your towels daily and clean the room. Breakfast is minimal but good to start the day. If you want to have a taste of the real Morocco, speak with Simo from reception to arrange some trips to Essaouria, Waterfalls, Ourika valley, this is where you will see the real berber culture and will make unforgetable memories as Marrakech on its own can be a bit disappointing. Close to hotel you will find some restaurants, food is nice and prices are good, walk arround in all directions and you will find good places to eat and have non alcoholic drinks. Bars stay opened untill 2 a.m.and the hotel has one too.

The hotel is rather far from the city centre, but has a great bakery nearby where you can get anything you dream of. A local bus outside the hotel takes you to the medina in 10-15 minutes. The hotel facilities, despite being beautiful, are rather neglected and run down, i.e. the toilet and sink did not work properly in the first room, then the bed broke down in the middle of the night in the second room, so we had to move to a third room. But thanks to the staff, who were extremely helpful and did everything to accommodate us with extra towels, lamps, extension cords, etc., we had a pleasant stay. We were also pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness of the rooms and other facilities at the hotel.

Awful hotel! There was barley anyone there when we arrived in fact I think we were the only people there, breakfast was none existent and the area is miles away from anything but hustlers trying to get money of you. So bad we actually booked a new hotel on the second day of being there. Would not recommend.

The drain in the shower didnt Work, so our room was flooded, the breakfast was boring, and there was only 1 waiter, and no more bread. The pool didnt look clean, and it is surrounded by buildings, so, no sun. All in All, a very dissapointing experience.. not worth the price

When I arrived the we were greeted by Simo spoke excellent English and was very helpful, took us to our room it was tired but done the job. Did have to get the mattress turned as it was broken down in the middle and you couldn't get comfortable. The staff were very helpful and would do anything you asked, which was great . Coming back to Simo he said he would arrange quad bikes for us which was great and he did at a price, which was a lot more then we should have paid. We were charged 1000 dirhams for 2 so 500 dirhams each after speaking to another provider it should have been 350 dirhams each so 700 dirhams. On the day of the quads yes all went well, and the other tourists on the same excursion only paid 350 dirhams each I felt ripped off . And to top it all off on the Tuesday night Simo said about room tax, I have been to Morocco a few times before and knew of room tax. Anyway asked Simo how much the room tax was and he said 320 dirhams which I was surprised as I did a short break last year in Morocco and it wasn't that much , said I needed to change some more money and would sort it out Wednesday he said I'm off Wednesday so see me Thursday now alarms bells started ringing. On Wednesday I went to reception and asked another member of the team to paid the room tax and they said 200 dirhams really pleased I went with my thoughts as asked another member staff . And spoke with some more English people staying for a short break like me and Simo had told them 320 dirhams and sadly they gave it to him plus a tip of 80 dirhams so he made 200 dirhams out of that one , so 500 dirhams better off in one week . So just take care any English visitors !! I have to say again I can't fault the rest of the staff, it is close to Marrakech 7-10 in a taxi , or a bus at the main road (number 1). Very hard to buy alcohol in town endless coffee bars, only place we could find alcohol was in a bar in the plaza and you couldn't drink it outside had to stay inside. You have a off licence 5 min from the hotel called Victoria, u can get everything you want there . And a local shop open all hours, bank to change your money, but the only place I could change money back was at the airport and they would only change it back to euro's .

Cheap hotel, clean rooms and lobby area but not a great experience. Service was very slow and poor and we missed some trios due to the inefficient front desk staff. Breakfast was poor and it was difficult getting a drink in the lobby area at times. The pool was very tired and I wouldn't have got in. Try a nice riad instead.
