From the minute of entering the Riad until leaving we simply felt at ease! The staff as well as the director were extremely courteous and friendly. The Riad itself was beautifully quiet and perfect for some balm summer nights with a glass of wine under the spangled sky.
Stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful, calm oasis. Delicious breakfast either in the courtyard, or one of the two terraces upstairs. Comfortable bed and staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to Jemaa el Fna, Saadian Tombs, and the souks. Loved the contrast of the busy streets and the peace of the Riad Daria. Perfect start to our holiday.
Riad Daria is located a little hidden in an small passage way south of the big square. Walking distance to the square is approximately 15 minutes and there's lots to see and discover on the way there. The riad itself is beautiful! The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms (we had a superior double room) are cozy and spacious. I will never forget the smell of the blooming orange trees planted in the courtyard, while enjoying a delicious breakfast! Also you should try a home cooked dinner. We had the most delicious chicken tajin and vegetable tajin and it's totally worth the price!
Well what a surprise. Through the door into a haven! It's an easy 10 minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the city and the 'square'. But this beautiful place is spotlessly clean, peacefully quiet and very comfortable. All the staff are very helpful and beautifully friendly. What is not to like? NOTHING!! Very comfortable room, good bed, and bathroom. Good breakfast. There are good cafes and shops nearby.
Beautiful and quiet Riad very close to the Royal Palace and 15 mins walk to Jemaa el Fna. Very warm welcome and super kind staff, always there to accommodate your needs. The Rooms are very cozy and well decorated, but the best part was having breakfast every Morning in the sunny terrace... I Loved every second of my stay, everyone was so nice! I highly recommend this place. Thank you Riad Daria
Tucked away on a narrow street in the Medina we stayed at this wonderful Riad. The narrow lanes are exceedingly deceptive...however, once you enter the Riad it opens up into a large courtyard with Orange laden trees. The rooms are large, clean and artfully decorated. Bathrooms are clean and large in comparison to some of the other Riads we had experienced. They had a large rooftop arrangement where you could enjoy meals. There was a separate TV lounge for those wishing to chill out. The staff was wonderful..between Sobha, Abdul, Murad and Saadia, we were really take care of. Would highly recommend this Riad to anyone and given the chance, would definitely return
The hotel is very charming and beautifully decorated! We had a great, warm welcome by the staff. Our room was huge with superb heating for winter. It's also located near some great restaurants. A lovely stay!
My boyfriend and I had a great time in Riad Daria. The place is beautiful, the staff were nice. However, we did have an issue with payment the last day and a guy, a staff member we hadn't seen before, was unable to understand English and couldn't help us. I was getting ready to give 5 stars to Read Daria, but that detail made us so uncomfortable because we simply could not understand each other. We could tell he was trying and I understand not all the staff have to speak every language, but if you know that a person is checking out, you should make sure that one person who speaks his or her language is available to help.
Our group had a lovely stay at this riad, such a quiet, cool oasis in the bustling city of Marrakech. The service was friendly and helpful, and we felt very much at home here. The rooms were clean and quiet, the rooftop terrace a lovely space too. Although we had a driver to ferry us around the city a couple of us ventured out for a walk to the main square one afternoon. An easy and interesting walk, so I would say the location is central.
Very nice bed & breakfast. Beautiful Moroccan theme. Very helpful staff. Low cost but good value. However, the Riad is located in the maze of the Casbah where it is difficult to navigate and taxis cannot find it. The hotel offered to provide dinner, but you had to make reservations by 3:00pm and for us we could not commit by then; unfortunately, there are no restaurants nearby as well so we found eating at night to be a challenge. We also were told our room would have A/C, but when we got there our room had no A/C which was very uncomfortable and very irritating; the next day they moved us to a room with A/C which was appreciated.
