My boyfriend and I just returned from a trip through Morocco and our stay at Riad Ajmal was hands down the best place we stayed. We were welcomed in by the lovely and very friendly Bouchra, who brought us to our room. The room itself was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was huge. All in all, after our shower we wrapped ourselves in the incredibly big and soft towels and chilled out in the bath robes that were waiting for us. Another great aspect was that we could have breakfast anywhere we wanted, including on the great and sunny roof terrace! Apparently it's also possible to have eggs - this was not offered to us but we overheard others asking so maybe just be forward and go for it if you like eggs for brekky. Last but not least: when we had to leave for the airport, Bouchra was kind enough to call us a cab AND handed us a little bag with some freshly baked and delicious bread for the road. So thoughtful! We felt very well taken care off. When we come back we'll definitely choose Riad Ajmal again.
This hotel is something extra. The atmosphere inside, and outside as well is astonishing. Inside there's a small garden and a mini pool. It's clean, the rooms, our room was very beautiful and kept a high standard. The manager Mohammed is a very kind and helpful man. He will take kind of your need in the best way possible. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Chose a Riad to stay in on our second visit to Marrakech but unfortunately it didn't help make our trip memorable.Things got off to a bad start when there was no pick up from the airport despite booking it weeks in advance and sending a reminder email the week before.Repeated calls to the Riad went unanswered until a call back to say 'Had you booked?'!! Waited 45 minutes in the end and to make it worse, there was no reference to it or an apology when we arrived.Considering there was only one other person staying there not sure how you lose track.Free Wi-Fi is included however, signal was only there when you first enter the room.We had booked a double room which turned out to be twin mattresses joined together and one half was very uncomfortable with squeaky springs. The towels and robe were scratchy and also the lighting in the rooms/bathroom overall was very dim. Breakfast was simple but the exact same thing every day, despite there being numerous bakeries in the local area.It would have been nice to have a different type of bread or some pastries. Some positives- the 2 female staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially as we hardly came across the manager. The place is nice and quiet compared to the hectic streets in the surrounding area and not difficult to find once you get your bearings. It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the main square and there are many shops and cafes along the way.The coffee served at breakfast was very good. Overall, not going to return
1st time to morrocco and glad I booked a Riad. The staff here are lovely and very helpful. The manor room I stayed in was very clean, bright, cool and had a great bathroom. Air con above the bed. Only 10 minute walk to the main Souks. Would recommend this Riad for a large group as the rooftop area has a number of sun loungers and shaded spots to unwind. Food is pretty standard and the same price if you were to eat out. Includes WiFi. Highly recommended place to stay! Supermarket is a 20 minute walk away to get booze. Alcohol is very expensive across the city.
Peaceful and nice place to chill and quiet too. Nice lady assisting us and make up our room every morning as you wish. They have plunge pool where you can refresh and cooldown. There are some nearby restaurant as well and one of them are french just in the nearby corner. Anyway. Lovely place to if you are in marrakesh. Enjoy!
They're as good as they advertized in the various travel websites. The place is picture perfect as it takes you to another world more exotic and wondrous than yours! Riad Ajmal is clean and tastefully decorated yet comfortable and even romantic. The manager, Moustafa is incredible. Be sure to NOT book any tours, dinners or activities and let him do it for you.
for anyone planning a trip to Marrakesh this is the place to stay. All the staff go out of their way to help and always friendly, you will get great night sleep you would never think you are right in the middle of a busy city i would recommend to get the riad to pick at the airport well worth doing that as the place would b little hard to find at first.
My mom and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a great experience! We had the place to ourselves for the first 2 nights of our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and filling, and the rooftop - really the whole Riad - was beautiful. The staff were delightful and provided us with great recommendations for the surrounding area. I would love to stay here again!
I spent a stay with my family at LABIBA suite.we enjoyed the service and availability of teams, and the location in the heart of bab doukala this riad is extremely nice and the staff is friendly, mustapha is a good manager who answered to all our questions we had,and at the end we ended our stay with a very nice chiken tajine with 7 vegetables what i suggest to you is to book riad transportation to avoid waiting at the airport and the price of taxis is very expensive i wish you a nice stay at RIAD AJMAL
My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 days in the beginning of june. The stuff was super friendly and the room and food good. But there was the point with the disappearing things. I first missed my tanktop, I wasnt sure if I really carried it to Marrakech. So I stopped thinking about it. On the next day I found a t-shirt that belongs to my girlfriend in my luggage. I was also unable to find my earphones. After asking the staff on the next day and the room cleaning the earphones were back in the drawer. The cleaning lady said it were in the drawer at the back (but I checked that in the morning so that was a lie). Before leaving my girlfriend realized that a couple of panties and a scarf disappeared. We didnt say anything to the manager because we were not sure what is going to happen to this woman. Our advise: dont go here or lock everything in the safe and put a lock on your suitcase.
