1 bedroom was given to us a family of 6. Very bad service staff ignored us. Cleaner stole my mums money, manager was not even present ignored the whole subject. Nobody even answered phone. 7 days 3x could not get into my room, card would not let me in had to go all the way bk to reception with 4 very tired children. Front reception desk staff very ignorant. First time in marrakech such a bad experience.
Very poor service. Once entering the room, we found that there were no towels, no shower gel, soap or even shampoo and had asked room service repeatedly to provide them. The internet was also very bad
Horrible stay, same pictures will talk about it. Took to long to check in almost one hour. Dirty dishes in the kitchen not even washed. No ac. The Bed is noisy,no carpet in rooms. Shower is broken.overral its horrible stay
We had to change 3 times room because all of them where very very dirty and with smoke smell. Hair everywhere, withe spots everywhere, cigarette smell, bed sheets very low quality. Pillows with bad smell. Disgusting breakfast, nothing was fresh, very poor variety.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Great pool, beautiful lobby, good breakfast. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious. Good location. Also very happy that the staff saved some items we left in the hotel for us to pick up when we drove through Marrakech again.
Me and two friends of mine stayed at this hotel from the 7th August to the 14th. Our room was advertised as as an 'apartment' with one bedroom, that could sleep four people. Firstly, our kitchenette was barely even a kitchenette, as it had no hob for us to cook on, no kettle and no microwave. As you can see from the pictures I have inserted, instead of a microwave we were provided with some weird sort of mini grill oven, that was dirty upon arrival and the only thing we could really heat up in it was pizza. It was also strategically positioned to cover a massive hole that was on the fridge. The only really useful things in the kitchen were the fridge and the few dishes like plates and cups that they provided us with. There were electric wires coming out of the walls where the plugs were, which is clearly a hazard for any kids and the toilet was essentially coming off of the floor. The service in the hotel was horrible. They did not speak great English and whenever we asked any questions we were responded to in a very dismissive and rude manner, unlike other guests who could speak French or Arabic. The wifi barely reached the room and only remotely worked in the hotel lobby, if that. Our rooms were not cleaned the whole week we were there, despite us asking multiple times. The most we got when we asked for our rooms to be cleaned was toilet roll and new towels. The food in the hotel restaurant was decent but the wait for the food was ridiculous. One day we were waiting for our food for a good 40 minutes. Overall, this hotel was not what we expected. It was in a good location of the city, close to the central and walking distance from Menara Mall, but overall we were very disappointed. The hotel even has a bad reputation to the point where one taxi driver that dropped us to our hotel said to us 'this isn't a good hotel is it?' To conclude, if I were to suggest staying at any of the Mogador hotels, apparently the Mogador Menara hotel, which is just a walking distance from the Menzah, is a lot nicer.
Disgusting hotel. Shower leaking. Fridge leaking. Flashing water in toilet make bad noise for 5 min or more. Not very clean. Bedding not changed daily. Only good thing is not far from airport or town centre.
Staffs are very lovely. Food is ok too. Very spacious rooms and very clean too. WiFi is not the greatest but manageable. The hotel is very close to the shop...I advise you get drinks from outside . Drinks are quite doubled the price
I’m currently staying at the Magodor, and very pleasantly surprised how nice it is after all the bad reviews I’ve seen. It’s definitely not dirty and shabby like some people say. All the staff are welcoming and willing to go the extra mile for you, all it takes is a bit of respect for them. All I can say is If you expect European 5 star standards, then you should all be willing to pay for it.
From the moment we arrived this hotel disappointed on every level. From dirty, shabby rooms with virtually no facilities or utensils despite describing itself as an “apart-hotel” to filthy pool area with water so cold the pool was pointless. Don’t stay here if you value your sleep, comfort or health. It’s a nightmare!
