After 11 days of Morocco; the excitement, the madness, the haggling, the rip-offs and occasional accommodation scam, and time spent in Marrakech, Essaouira and Taghazout, we did a fair amount of research and decided to stay here for our last night before flying back to London. Les Jardins de la Medina is exquisite, luxury, a quiet perfect cluster of beautiful buildings hidden inside a busy Médina. Thank you to the staff who are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Dinner & breakfast were delicious. This stay was a perfect and peaceful end to our time in Morocco.
Les Jardins de la Medina is sublime! It’s a little corner of heaven in the Medina. We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch on New Year’s Day - it was the perfect start to 2018. It was incredibly good value for money and of a very high standard. We also treated ourselves to Hammans and massages, which were the best we had in Marrakech. I would definitely return and recommend to all visiting Marrakech.
We stayed here as a family of 4 for 5 nights post Christmas and it was great. The rooms are spacious and attractive the maids do a great job. The garden courtyard is also well maintained with lots of mature trees and shrubs. The restaurant is situated in an atmospheric room and the food is of consistently high quality to the point where we actually chose to dine in more than we had intended. The staff are all helpful and friendly. The location inside the Medina is pretty good and you certainly get a real Moroccan feel in the street outside. For my money I would much prefer to stay i a Riad like this than in a big new hotel outside the Medina.
We had a wonderful stay at the Jardins de la Medina, The staff were very friendly, the solarium room was just lovely and the food was delicious. The hotel is situated in the Kasbah part of the Medina and was easily accessible to the main areas.
Positive experience (despite we were disappointed about morocco overall). Clean, nice room, good meals, classy, quiet, good location (if you want to stay in the medina!). On the negatives not all the members of the staff are well trained/kind. If you are in Marrakech you want to stay in a place like this. Excellent price/quality ratio.
Ou trip was excellent, the Rhiad was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was very good and the surrounding garden and pool was an absolute delight especially in the evening when it was all lit up.
We just went there for a dinner and didn't stay at the property. Upscale restaurant and prices to suit their clientele. A bit too warm with too many wood fireplaces. Very good service though a bit slow. They were able to pack our food to go since our son started feeling queasy (he eventually got very sick from something that he must have eaten the previous day or earlier that morning?). The taste was OK - nothing good. The WiFi just didn't work for us. They gave a password and require you to share your email address with them but still didn't work for us. Then their credit card machine didn't work and we had to scrape through our dirhams.
We celebrated our anniversary and stayed here. The hotel is just wonderful. Well decorated, clean room and first class service. The environment is so restful and an oasis in the medina. I appreciated that they were trying to conserve energy and water, and the little things like choosing your room fragrance for your pillows etc just made the stay special. The Hamam was lovely and thank you for the gift!
This is a fabulous hideaway right on the edge of the Medina. Once you go through the entrance you will be amazed at the setting, beautiful gardens and so tranquil given the hustle and bustle in the street outside. Only 36 rooms and ours was very comfortable and well looked after. The staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant very good as were the spa treatments. Recommended and we’d certainly go back.
My partner and I stayed recently for three nights to celebrate my 40th birthday and this is possibly one of our favourite hotels we have stayed in. The building itself is charming with lots of interesting details, the gardens are stunning and the staff friendly and attentive. I’d highly recommend this quiet oasis in the heart of the bustling city.
