We have just had a wonderful family holiday here . Would throughly recommend this hotel as a lovely environment to switch off and relax. Very accommodating staff, lovely peaceful pool and area. All very clean with excellent rooms - we had five rooms in total including the pacha suite and all were lovely. Hamman was amazing. We have experienced Morocco in a number of ways before and this fitted perfectly with the criteria we had for this, our 30th wedding anniversary family holiday. Will definitely be back and thanks to all the lovely staff.
The room was large & comfortable, with a view of the garden behind. The garden was lovely & peaceful with many old olive trees & an excellent pool. One small criticism. We stayed for four nights & were given only a small bar of soap, having to ask for a second one. The main criticism was the hotel shuttle. We arranged a time & place to be collected from the city, but the driver forgot to collect us. We waited nearly an hour.
This by far the worst experience we have had so far, the hotel receptionist was super unprofessional, food was overprice and just disappointing we were also not allowed to bring food in which was so weird we felt like we was in prison. The place was falling apart our air conditioning was leaking which was reported twice and nothing was done about it.. breakfast "BUFFET" also disappointing, staff there were nice waitress and the room services and the shuttle bus Mohamed were amazing to us which was the only highlight of our stay in the hotel, but the reception guy he was just horrible 😒 shouting over the phone hanging up everytime we go out we have to call the hotel and he would hang up on us we have to ca several times... our towels smelt weird the hotel needed cleaning did not look like what it was showed in the pictures so DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE STAR RATINGS AND THE PICTURES IT IS INDEED A BIG FAT LIE the area which the hotel was placed in was pretty rough, aw also not to forget we was charged after our stay which was not mentioned to us when we arrived the guy in the reception also did not explain why we had to pay that much which was super dodgy, I will not recommend this place for anyone who is looking to have a peaceful holiday.. all in all morroco is a great place to visit we just had a bad place to stay in.. ONE STAR IS EVEN TO MUCH TO GIVE TO THIS HOTEL!!! I give them no star ..
They could not provide either a small guest room or hot and private showers so we could have a wash before getting our flight. Had to have a shower in a freezing cold building with vests to keep the privecy as people could see through. Horrible! WAS NOT A GOOD END OF WHAT THEY ADVERT AS RELAXING HOLIDAY!
We stayed at this lovely hotel for three nights. The hotel is about 4 miles outside the centre of Marrakech, with a courtesy bus to transport guests into town from 8 am to 8 pm. It was wonderful after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech to return to the peace and calm of La Maison des Oliviers! Just a note : There is nothing to do/nowhere to walk outside the hotel grounds, as the surrounding areas are about to be developed - more hotels and apartments planned. The hotel is built in Arab style, with fountains, olive trees and palms in the grounds. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed - we actually had a small patch of garden. Everything is well kept and very clean. The main swimming pool is a good size and is heated (other pools are attached to the suites) and has a bar/restaurant serving excellent lunches at reasonable prices. As we didn't want to trek into Marrakech in the evenings for dinner, we had half board. The menu was interesting and varied with a lot of Moroccan dishes available. The service was rather slow, but that didn't worry us as we were not pressed for time and the waiters and all staff were friendly and helpful. Our only reservation is that the breakfast dishes were not replenished regularly, so there were often empty platters by 9 am. All in all, a lovely break - and the temperature for our four days was in the high 20s to low 30s - rather too hot and very unusual apparently in March, but rather nice having escaped the cold and wet of an English March!
We spent five nights at the hotel. On the second night we changed our room as we had an inter-connecting door with another room which was noisy. It took some persuading, but they did it. Both rooms were very spacious and relaxing. The resort is wonderfully peaceful in comparison to the hustle of Marrakech and the grounds are well maintained and looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the evening restaurant has quite a limited menu and is very expensive for what it is. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant again. We were advised by another couple of a great restaurant just outside the hotel (turn left out of the hotel, turn left at the main road and it is next to the garage) - it was much much cheaper and the food was better quality. Overall it was excellent.
Located a bit out of the centre we went here for a few nights with our children. It was very calm, very beautiful, and not very busy at the time. I do think this is more a place for a couple's get-away, but it's a nice place with amazing service no matter what. Great stay!
Very good staff. Kind, service minded and very good towards our little daughter. We strongly recommend you to go here if you want to relax in a nice envoirment. It looks a little ghetto the closest neighboorhood but inside it compensates for all doubts you could have when arriving.
Great stay...food was also lovely.... the location is also perfect , away from the busy city.. only downside was when I was there the pool was always cold(not heated) but all in all was a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend
A perfect January retreat to an oasis of calm and beauty. A warm welcome in our first visit to the continent. Beautifully appointed room, quiet seclusion, and extremely comfortable bed welcomed two weary and happy travellers. Fantastic and warm service from all we encountered, with excellent excursions organised as we immersed ourselves in the magic and wonder that is Morocco. How good? Well, as I write this, I am booking again; yes, that good. Thank you
