They say that hotel is 4 star it's a 2 to 3 stars I advice not to stay in that hotel they food is disgusting for breakfast the toilets are dirty the shower curtain are dirty never been wash no room service
Firstly, the area is very rough. Alot of drug/alcohol issues in the area which made us wary about returning late at night. Reception welcome was standard, no smiles, no pleasantries. Rooms were ok. Good size and good range of tv channels. The cleaners hang around for hours, for what I have no clue! We were given damp towels. Pool could be cleaner. Buffet was ok. Staff just stand and watch you eat which was a bit awkward. Charged too much for city tax. I would say to improve it needs a whole sweep of staff customer service training, cleaner pool and better range of food.
My booking made via booking.com when I arrived to hotel, the first think I have noticed is the street even in city centre but was too noisy. During check-in time, the receptionist unwelcomed me even just a smile which it is free of charge, hehehe. After registration process, I went to my room and I was shocked indeed, the room was very dirty and looks was locked for many years, dust everywhere, the bed with some female hairs, one pillow with some dirty marks. I went immediately to reception and asked for another room but Receptionist started to give me some excuses that hotel almost fully booked but I told hime that I really do not care and I am not able to get some serious sickness from that checked-in room provided. However, I got another room which was not even good. First think I have noticed is safe box, not exist in the guest's room and again went back to reception and ask for it but another shocked when he ask me the payment for safe box which I knew 99% of worldwide hotels provided for complimentary for guests inhouse. The receptionist ask for dhs 30.00 a day it is about £2.50 which I refuse to pay nor to use either. The night was horrible, too much noise outside especially motorbikes park just apposite of hotel main door entrance and this strange is the DJ bar which just four steeps from Receptionist and lift, that night I couldn't sleep till early morning because of so loud live music all the night, drunk people talked loudly in corridor. Honestly, I slept couple of hours only and I can say that this is not hotel but it looked like wholesale auction farm. Next day, breakfast was horrible, cold food and I can not say buffet but just cold continental breakfast only. This is my worst ever experience I had in my life. I recommend everyone to avoid this hotel even if will give you complimentary bed & breakfast not because of my experience but because of health safety not there at all and high risk. Marrakesh city has plenty of amazing budgets and luxury hotels because our joy, safety and a warm welcomed are the most important for every visitor. Finally my last very bad experience when hotel charged me few pounds more than at the time of my booking and when I had a telephone conversation after my return they discovered the reason of over charge few pounds more was due to exchange rate which is totally disagreed and not true so be aware with this hotel from booking to check-out. My score rate for this hotel is ( - 5 )
I had mixed feelings when booking this "resort" as there were so many Terrible reviews mixed with Good. Next time I will know that more than one bad review says a lot! I was shown to my room and left immediately. It was very sparse with no comfort feeling. Everything was dirty and there were no pillow cases on the filthy pillows. The view of the street was also dirty and wifi did not work in the room on 2nd floor at all. I was offered another room. This was marginally better with at least a balcony (with no outdoor seats or table) overlooking the small, over crowded and murky looking pool. Loud music was blaring from the pool bar and my neighbours balcony below. The wifi at least worked in this room on the 3rd floor. The staff are rude and do not provide any hotel information. I was charged the city tax for 5 nights, even though I left after 3. The food was very ordinary and not representative of website pictures. I had pre-paid for 5 nights, stayed 1 and it was enough. Was even charged the city tax for the 5 nights which I was never informed about at check-in and was never issued a receipt/tax invoice.
I stayed 3 days. Worst service: tv and phone not working, We will send the technician... After 2 days! Shower was pouring only to the tub! If you go for dinner at the last half an hour you will find only rubbish! I asked the staff : any nice night club? Abdeilah (the technician) offered to show me: Actor's. He came in with me ordering drinks... then I had to pay for his drinks! He was pushing me to pay for another girl (prostitute)! He threatened me! I felt so unsafe! I will never return to Morocco!
I would give this hotel a 2 star rating. Needs a good bit of money spent on painting dirty walls and chipped wooden furniture. Could do with new bedding. Not sure that the throw is changed with every guest. Bathroom is not cleaned with products like bleach or any other cleaning material. They just give it a quick wipe. Pool could be nice but water is so murky you cannot see the floor. Disappointed that thong bikinis are allowed in a family environment. I'm not a prude but o was not impressed with women walking around and bending over in thongs when I had a 12 year old boy and a 7 year old daughter with me. It could be nice here if they took a bit more time and effort in managing the hotel running and maintenance rather than just counting the cash. Breakfast could do with some fresh fruit. Pastries need to be covered as I went to pick up a croissant I noticed it was covered in bees. Eeew! The Moroccan lady making fresh traditional limmsimmonn was lovely and a nice touch. I'd say you get what you pay for but £60 per night ain't cheap. Excellent location though. Nice walk down to jema el fina. Kids loved being in the pool. They would have loved any pool though.
We stayed in this hotel only because it was next to the bus station, but it wasn't the most pleasant stay. Our AC didn't work and I tried to call the reception maybe 10 times - no response. I went downstairs and asked to fix our AC - the concierge said he will send a technician, but didn't even move from his spot afterwards, although he wasn't doing anything. After 40mins no one came so i called again, but no response. I went downstairs once more and then they finally sent a technician... We tried to order some food to our room but no one picked up the phone. the food in the restaurant looks awful and there is a looot of bees around. no fresh juice.
This place very badly managed. Very very Dirty. Extremely poor service. The so-called management team is completely out of the blue: skill-less to handle even basic customer request. I strongly NOT recommend. The owner is the one deciding on putting very scarce resources: the cleaning lady was working a non-stop 10 hours a day... every day. To avoid at all costs.
Arrived at the hotel on Wednesday 12pm, was told to wait till 2pm to be checked in. 2:30pm room was ready. Main lift was broken and we had to carry luggages via stairs where room was on 6th floor, as unhelpful staff. A/c unit was leaking water from Thursday, informed the manager who said will send engineers. Bell boy came and checked it and said no problem. Complained again next day, nothing was done. Finally after several complaints they fixed it on Sunday. At least they should have changed the room. On Saturday we had tour booked at 9am, after waking up at 7am found out no water was available, as problem with pipe in the hotel. Told us it will be fixed soon, but had to leave without having shower. Had to buy water bottles from shop to brush teeth. No compensation or apology. Reception staff don't even care. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
One of the worse hotels. Rude staff food was appauling. Same food on the menu .breakfast very basic. You had to ask for cutlery serviettes etc. They stuffed 5 of us in one room it's not a 5* hotel even the pics on their site is deceptive. The spa was awful. I Don't recommend it.
