Having stayed in 100s of Hotels over the years this place really was a first - worst place I have ever been - and that includes nights spent in Hostels the "hotel" is home to refugees and homeless Africans with washing hanging out of the windows and debris everywhere. The room was small (expected) and like a filthy toxic wastedump (not expected) The curtains were in shreds, the floor defies explanation in how filthy and stained it was, the walls covered in assorted marks, the smell indescribable and the shower and toilet were damaged and the wifi as non existent as the cleaning. If this Hotel was in the UK it would be closed down and condemned instantly. And the walls are so thin that you hear all the screams and shouts from adjoining rooms and the car park outside. The lady on Reception was very friendly though! sadly we arrived too late in the evening to make alternative arrangements DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE YOURSELF!

Receptionist abrupt and kept talking over me - said he was going to take the payment from my card but I had already paid online via then when I questioned it he denied he said that Blood on wall next to bathroom wall Only two towels in room for four of us My bed linen smelt men's aftershave leading me to believe it wasn't fresh on You get what you pay for and £59 for a quad room - me thinking I was getting a bargain alas not

We've stayed here a few times on our way to the alps. However we have never woken up before covered in bug bites! The rooms are very basic and you get what you pay for but being bitten is not what we expected!

The room was small but expected from a budget hotel but the bed had a dip in the middle, curtain had holes, walls were covered in marks, walls very thin, carpet had marks all over it, shower doors wouldn't shut properly, the shower head randomly have way and hot you on the head and the toilet wasn't mounted to the wall. Our friends had to move rooms as the smell was so bad in theirs, ours smelt like wee, our friends room smelt like feet! Language barrier an issue the breakfast looked like a waste of money so we went to the McDonald's across the way.

This hotel very much "does what it says on the tin" - It's not fancy, it's basic but clean, and serves a purpose as a place to rest your head when totting up the kilometres on the roads in France. We didn't take the breakfast option, deciding instead to get going and grab some food "on the go".

I know you get what you pay for but this place is like a hostel. Dirty, damaged rooms, well worth a little extra for any number of other hotels on the same complex. We booked and checked out as soon as we saw the rooms.

In 14 years of breaking our journey in Reims in both directions we have stayed in all 3 Premiere Classe hotels and have consistently chosen this one for the past 6 or 7 years, preferring the shower rooms and internal corridors to the standard offering of the brand. I have left a "very good " review in the past. However, there has been a shocking deterioration since our last visit. The carpet in the room (117) was filthy, the walls covered in dirty marks, the curtain was slashed and the bathroom stank of foul drains. Several children were playing football around the cars unchecked by the management and, viewed from our room window, one young boy scrutinised the contents of our car in a suspicious manner. Sleep was impossible due to a group of men talking and drinking directly under our window until the early hours. After closing the window it was incredibly hot. At 01.30 I dressed and made my way to the reception desk but it was unmanned and I had to remonstrate with the men myself. The following morning at 06.00 the noise began again as the tradespeople who frequent these hotels gathered outside the entrance. I don't expect 5 star standards from a budget hotel, all we need is a decent night's sleep and a reasonable breakfast. Despite a comfortable bed and clean linen we set off on a long journey unrefreshed and later than intended. Furthermore at 54€ per night it's no longer a particularly cheap option and definitely a false economy. We had a booking for our return journey but cancelled it when we left. The receptionist/ manager did not even query why. If you must stay there I suggest you ask for an even numbered room as these are at the back and you will not be exposed to the noisy coming and going of inconsiderate guests.

We walked in the room and we instantly walked out and left. Dirty carpets, curtains were cut, tiny room, only 2 towels in a double room even the walls were dirty! We didn t expect anything posh but this was the worst room I ve ever been!

Comfortable clean bed but the rooms could do with refurbishing as they were quite shabby. Not much soundproofing between rooms but fairly quiet location. Excellent Chinese buffet a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel had free parking (a bonus) and the reception staff were very pleasant and friendly. The bedding was spotless and the shower room was basic but clean. The walls and the carpet however in the bedroom were dirty. I'm pleased we were only staying for one night. Having said that it was cheap so you get what you pay for!
