Property was in a lovely location in Marmora. Hosts were very accommodating and addressed all questions very quickly.
Cottage was perfect and loved the bunkie.
If you are looking for beautiful sunsets and very comfortable place to stay - look no further.
Would definitely book this location again!
We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights and 4 days. It was memorable, the lake view from the dock, the kayaking, the evening by the fireplace, lunch and dinner at the backyard picnic table, overall it was great!
The rooms and the whole place was clean and well kept. Loved the outside ambience.
The host was responsive and accommodative! appreciate it!
I suggest that the listing be made clear that the bedrooms are spread over the main house and an adjacent building. The adjacent unit was smaller and very compact for 4 guests!
Also, I suggest that umbrellas maybe be provided so that the guests can move between the units. We had a bit of challenge in moving from one unit to other while it was raining heavily during our stay.
Atleast one 2 seater kayak will be a great addition to this property. It would have been great to go kayaking as group and enjoy the beautiful and serene landscape!

Disliked: Cleanliness, location
When we arrived at the property the house was not ready for us. The housekeeper abandoned the house in the middle of her work. When we entered the property there was vacuum left in living room, the dirty bed linen on the floor in the bedrooms, bathroom dirty and the rest of the main area. There was other building converted to living area with other bathroom and bedroom which was not described in the description of the property. Its old garage was turned into additional living space. When we entered the garage there was bathroom in remodeling process, the toilet was removed, there were contractors items left behind, because they didn’t finish painting and other work in bathroom. There was a big mess. We didn’t want to stay in there and we called the owner to cancel the reservation. He apparently didn’t know about the situation in his property. He agreed to cancel and refund the money for us. We were very disappointed because when we arrived there it was late evening and we had to look for another place to stay. Thank God we found a beautiful home just 20 minutes away for the duration of our planned stay. After all we had a great time there. Additionally I want to mention that the waterfront area behind the house is very far to get there and very dangerous for people without shape. Getting downhill or uphill is very difficult and dangerous for older folks and children. After one trip you don’t want to go down to the lake anymore. You won’t see this on pictures. Thanks
