I like everything with My Place Hotel - they're absolutely the BEST hotel in Marion!
Great little place with a friendly staff. It is a little hard to find since it is behind stores and there are no signs on the road to direct you to it.
Reserved accessible room with wheelchair accessible bathroom. I checked in and was not told they didn't have the room I reserved and paid for. I discovered this when I got to the room. Then the front desk attendant told me the room I requested was unavailable
Big, clean room with comfortable beds. We traveled with our dog, and there's an open field with a little pond adjacent to the hotel (when we were there), so it was very convenient to let the dog run around. There's also a little gazebo with tables & chairs outside that would be convenient for picnic meals and such, but it was too cold for us.

Hello Douglas, I want to aplogize to you for not having your desired room type ready at check-in. I know that the front desk and myself (GM) did offer to personally go clean a room for you but that it would take about 30 minutes but you wanted to get up to your room. Regardless it should have been ready and ready on time. I hope you gives another chance in the future as I would love for you to come back stay at no-charge to you in the room type you desire.
