The bed was way too hard for comfort and to small of a tv to enjoy watching and last too many loose bugs in the room which made it uncomfortble

Need to ferry to the resort. This was shocking and i thought it would make it difficult to get around but it was fine and had easy access back and forth. The Grand Studio room was awesome. Older but renovated and clean. Nice space with full kitchen in separate room and bathroom was nice with a large shower. The amenities were not functional at all during our stay..... steam room, sauna, floating tank. All 3 rooms that housed them looked to be untouched in months at least. Overall for the price you can't go wrong here. Marigot Bay is the best spot to land on the entire island. It gives you close access to the Rodney Bay area and the Pitons. We had a car and stayed on the East side of the island as well and Marigot Bay the spot you want if you want to avoid the downtown city feel of Rodney Bay.

Location: In Marigot Bay; a small isolated private beach with limited facility; a waterfront restaurant for beautiful sunset views. Since the hotel can only be reached from water, a frequent and on-call ferry is available, free for the customer staying at hotel. Room: small (we stayed at Beach front building, 2nd floor, booked through Orbitz). The patio was large and had a nice bay view, but it had side doors that could be opened from the neighboring units. Service: We liked the front-desk ladies the most: Chelsea, Naija, and Rhonda. The major problem was mosquito! The hotel provided service to treat the room. They did twice for us, and then left the bottle to us for DIY during the rest of the week. But the spray was quite strong and there was no screen door to the patio so we ended up sleeping in the strong smell. Because of that, both of us had respiratory infections during the last two days. The maid service was tardy and clean towels were scarce. Suggestion to the hotel management: regular pest control in the surrounding area. Install screen door to the patio. Recommendation to the hotel guests: Bring non-toxic mosquito repellent.

The hotel was clean but it is old and getting to my room was daunting. I’m almost 60 and in relatively good shape but it’s a tough climb to the rooms. The beach was small rocky and not really maintained. The view is beautiful. Make sure you have a converter if you’re from the states. The hotel did not have enough even though it was off season.

The resort has all the intangibles - friendly staff, location, beauty, sunsets, boats, boats, boats. But this resort is old, outdated and in disrepair in some cases. The food and drinks were fine at the outdoor restaurant. Again, staff was most attentive and helpful. However, my two bedroom suite was in need of significant maintenance. Bathroom drains backed up and then drained very slowly. The bathtub was rusted around the bottom. One of the two air conditioners did not cool. The sliding doors were very tough to open and close, preventing the use of one of the two walkout balconies. With an investment of time and money, this resort could rank among the very best in St. Lucia. WIthout it, I will likely pass on future stays there.

No phone for 3 days after many discussions. Mirror broken the whole time. Didn't have towels for the pool at one point. But when asked to a manager 2 appeared. Was asked to pay extra for a couple massage that they offered because they would have to bring someone in. And no internet for the first 4 days. The ferry driver was amazing and the one manager tried to help us a lot. But I will not be returning to this hotel.

Lovely time enjoying the beautiful setting, comfortable room, friendly helpful staff; one of the best massages I've ever had -- do not miss a visit to the spa. Good restaurant with professionally trained staff but with a friendly island flair. All in all the perfect place to spend our last night in the islands!

The St. Lucia Marigot Beach Club & Dive Resort was a very magical tropical island adventure!!! Complete with rainbows, hummingbird, butterflies, Tropical reefs to snorkel directly off the beach of the resort, incredible views of Marigot Bay from our balcony, fun food & entertainment at Doolittles Restaurant, a wonderful staff including the water taxi driver, Pip.....Our trip included a 1/2 day boat adventure with Captain Denver & his 1st mate!!! Very informative trip with snorkel stops & lunch in Soufrire. The Shashamane Boat Rental with Captain Denver was the perfect option for us from the usual "RUM BOATS" that we watched daily come in & out of the bay with hundreds of people aboard but do not fear, we did have RUM!!!

Restaurant next to hotel was awesome experience, food was amazing... the service there was really slow because they had a small kitchen but it was worth it.

This resort has a relaxing atmosphere with a nice beachside restaurant. The rooms were comfortable but could use a little updating.

From thr moment I stepped on the resort the staff were amazing and friendly!!! The resort is clean, easy to get around, and has the most breathtaking views of the bay, mountain, and ocean. I honestly felt like I was in a peaceful oasis. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for rest and relaxation with some island flare and flavor!!!!!!

This hotel was clearly once a gem... but it needs help. The rooms are clean and sweet, but kitchenettes need updated appliances, handles on pans that don't twist and spill burning food on you... the "gym" has holes in the walls, outdated equipment and with just a little investment, mirrors, sheetrock repairs, some plants, could be okay... restaurant food is quite good, but staff moody most of the time, and although it didn't happen to us, we watched several people sit for quite some time without being served, only to leave in frustration. Bathroom, the only one available to guests, should be open 24/7 not at 8 am or when someone gets around to it. sinking dory at the entrance dock which stayed sinking for the week was not a professionally and welcoming way to greet guests... although the natives on the beach around the hotel are harmless, they are annoying and was growing tired of getting asked to get pot... help the natives clean up the broken lawn chairs and ask them not to pee on the side of the building while the guests are sitting on their porches trying to enjoy the beautiful marigot bay... some new towels would be nice and perhaps a bigger pool.. its way smaller than the pictures indicate. little things like opening the door next to the gym and looking at messy mechanical rooms etc... take away from the feeling of being on a tropical vacation. Have someone come and critique the hotel, then listen to what they have to say.. it has potential.. but I would not return

We stayed two nights at The Marigot Beach Hotel waiting to catch our Windjammer Cruise. Great location and really beautiful cove. Rooms were nice with a small kitchen. The wait times to receive service were not good but tolerable. Food at the restaurant was very good. I would definitely go back if staying in this area.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The view exquisite but the beach portion is very limited and make sure u have mosquito repellent especially at nights

It was a decent stay, the hotel is very old and needs updating. The location is good if you like a more relaxing less busy setting which is what I was going for. Multiple times there was no water and there is wifi but only if you're standing outside of the office.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Just to clarify. Only 1 of the 3 houses which house the steam room , sauna and floatation does not function. Reason being, the lack of a supply for something that we need to operate it. The steam room and sauna works just fine. It has to be turned on for you but it is not left running throughout the day.

Thank you for your review. Had we known the steps were a bother we would have accommodated you in one of the lower rooms. We do not provide converters which is stated but if we do have extras, then we allow our guest to use them.

An alternative phone was given to you to make phone calls. The Wifi issue was with the service provider and not the hotel which was eventually fixed. Your booking came with spa credit which you did not pay for. Couple massages are not part of it which is why the extra cost came in. You came to the office on many occasions to return your used pool towels which means you did get towels. There are no documents to be signed on check out. Make the most put a vacation rather than looking for faults.
