Amaroo - Vistas al mar y acceso cercano a la playa

Amaroo tiene la gran combinación de vistas al mar y cerca de acceso a la playa en un entorno de árbol nativo.
Ubicado en Marengo, Amaroo es una casa de dos pisos frente norte con excelentes vistas sobre la playa de Marengo al municipio de Apollo Bay y colinas.
Es sólo un paseo de 500 metros a la playa de Marengo para nadar, navegar, pescar o explorar las piscinas de roca.

La casa de dos pisos tiene entrada externa a la primera planta. Entrar en la cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, horno eléctrico y vitrocerámica, lavavajillas y nevera grande. Una barra de desayuno separa la cocina con el comedor. El nuevo comedor es un gran espacio para reunirse y discutir las actividades de los días, y fluye hacia fuera a la cubierta a través de puertas correderas de vidrio.

El salón tiene nuevas suites salón de cuero, TV, DVD, sonido envolvente, y se abre a la terraza frente al norte. Un calentador de ciclo inverso y aire acondicionado mantiene este 1 º piso cómodo, junto con ventiladores de techo en el salón, comedor y dormitorio principal.

El gran sol empapado cubierta corre todo el ancho de la casa. Hay una barbacoa Weber y 8 asientos al aire libre - perfecto para sentarse en la terraza y disfrutar del sol, vistas al mar, y escuchar los pájaros en los árboles nativos circundantes.

El dormitorio principal está en la 1 ª planta, así, con una cama queen size y acceso a la cubierta norte. El baño grande contiguo tiene un baño y ducha separada de cristal enmarcado.

En la planta baja es una segunda sala de estar con TV, juegos de mesa y libros, dos dormitorios más y el segundo baño. También hay una lavandería totalmente equipada.

El patio está totalmente vallado, con una mezcla de césped, zona de grava y jardín nativo. El aparcamiento está al aire libre al lado de la casa en la grava al final de la calzada alineada árbol.

Hay un sendero para caminar y andar en bicicleta desde Marengo a Apollo Bay (2. 5 km), el Gran Paseo Marítimo, y camina a la Reserva Marengo para explorar en la zona también.

Great Pet Friendly Option!

Had a lovely stay at this Marengo property - very peaceful with lovely views and only a short walk to the beach. Definitely amoungst the nicer pet friendly properties available in the area - very comfortable and my pup loved the garden which was fully fenced

Great location

We love staying in Marengo, and this house is walking distance to the beach. We loved feeding the daily bird visitors, koala watching, paddle boarding, swimming and walking on the beach. Perfect way to end the school holidays!

Lovely relaxing stay

We had such a relaxing time at Amaroo. The views were amazing and the house was very comfortable. It was really nice to have things like a dishwasher and a washer dryer. The bed was comfy too. We missed out on seeing the koala but hopefully next time. There were plenty of birds out the front and the house was a nice short drive to the beach. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Spacious and clean

Lovely spacious property with lots of room for up to 8. We were just 2 and used only the top floor. Modern kitchen, well-equipped (although would have liked paper towels to be supplied) and lovely view from the upper level.

Views and relaxation

A beautiful house, with lovely views of the surf. The accomodation was spacious and set in a quiet spot among trees. Apollo Bay was a 25 minute walk away, with 2 supermarkets and a choice of great cafes, restaurants and takeaway places. The communication from the rental group was clear and welcoming.

Lovely spot, shame about the details

This was a beautiful property but we were disappointed to find it wasn't as clean as you might expect for a holiday rental. The carpets in the lounge room and bedroom were covered in dog hair and I found myself sneezing throughout the entire weekend as a result. It was also really surprising that there was no WiFi at the property, which is not something you expect in rental accommodation in 2021.

The property had a lovely view and was comfortable. However it lack all the little touches that makes good accommodation, GREAT. Simple things like oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen, a clothesline and wifi would have made our stay much more enjoyable. The expected cleaning upon departure was also a little excessive considering a clean fee is charged. To expect that no sand to be left behind at a beach house seems a tall ask. It was nice but I would not rave about it.

Great stay, great location

Amaroo was a terrific location for our GOR holiday. Close enough to all the sites yet in a quiet and sereje location with loads of birdlife!The property was well presented and very consistent with what was advertised. Highly recommended!!

Stunning house with ocean views

I loved Amaroo. It's tucked away in a quiet street with access to the Great Ocean Road. It's super close to the GOR but due to all the gorgeous trees and ferns you can't hear the cars go by. We spent much of our time out on the deck enjoying the gorgeous view. There's all the appliances and utensils you could need so it's a wonderful home away from home. Our pup loved staying there with us, running around in the back garden and sitting on the deck lazing in the sun. We will definitely be back soon! :)

Brilliant but a few things which can be fixed to enhance the overall property

Overall the property was really awesome, so close to everything and felt right at home. The only improvements I would say are first the lock on the flyscreen door as once it locked us out on our stay due to unknown reasons which is quite dangerous as I almost could not get back in (the hole in the door was already there too and have photos if required). In addition it would be smart to tell the customer where the AC remote is kept as it took a while for me to find it being on next to the TV in the corner. The leftmost power outlet closest to the fridge, the left electornic point in the two power outlets is broken when you flick it on and needs to be fixed as it tripped the entire house's power outlets and we could not fix this on the last morning. Furthermore if it is possible,cutting down the trees a little on neighbouring properties would work wonders as it would provide a fantastic view to the beach on top of the one that was already there which was ok. Also an investment in some non stick fry pans and or some new kitchen cooking appliances would be awesome as some of the items were very old and one pan even still had black dirt on it from the last time people used the place. However the rest of the stay was perfect and would come back again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amaroo is a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the abundance of beautiful birds and the friendly koala in the tree outside the front door. The accommodation was clean and tidy and comfortable. The let downs were all the outside lighting on the deck was not working except 1. No lights working in the range hood. Beds down stairs were comfortable but cold. General maintenance of the exterior of the property around doorways patio areas was dirty.If these things were maintained then we would rate our stay 10/10. Beautiful view, peaceful and quiet.
