The property is generally very good with excellent ocean views. On a previous visit we found the room to be excellent, on this visit however, the room was considerably smaller and the furniture sub-par, sitting on the loungeroom chairs was very uncomfortable with the chairs creaking and cracking and feeling very unstable. The outside sitting area was not as private as expected and the bushes had not been trimmed, obscuring the ocean view when sitting.

After booking this property I seen some negative reviews that made me worry. However, I thought the place had an amazing view, it was quiet, and clean. It had been mentioned that there was no staff or communication. I had replies to my emails within the day and seen at least 5 different staff members who were more than happy to help. The only negative review that I could maybe agree with was the shower leaked water when using it and the floor got very wet. It’s wasn’t a big issue but could possibly use some rectification. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. I loved that it felt like no one else was even staying at the property and the ocean waves all night was the best. Maybe people need to remember this is a smal coastal town, not a big fancy hotel in the city.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Seafarers Getaway, and it was an unforgettable experience! The room was beautiful and offered the most stunning sea views—waking up to the sound of the waves and a breathtaking sunrise was absolutely magical. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to Apollo Bay, which had plenty of great food options. We chose to bring dinner back to the room one evening to make the most of the cozy, homey atmosphere and enjoy the view—it was such a treat! The washroom was spacious and modern, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. A special highlight was the alpacas on the property, which added a unique and charming touch to the experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible views and a cozy vibe, Seafarers Getaway is perfect. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is right on the coast of an "own" bay of manies in the Great Ocean Road with magnificent and relaxing sea-view and sound. Parking, check-in, and the property itself (even with black birds singing, alpaca's, lake etc.) are superb. The rooms are a bit too tight, there was not enough space to pack out or eat. During our stay there was problem with the fire alarm,, which went on several times at night, and with a lot of little flies.
