Marco vaca

Checkin went smooth. Overall the house was nice. We really enjoyed the pool. The house could use a little TLC. The biggest surprise was not knowing it was a shared property. The person using the boat dock was parked in the front yard upon us returning to the house. It would have been nice to have a heads up. The pictures online showed fresh bedding and we had a janky comforter with stains on it, and the carpet needs cleaned!!

Nice house with great pool!

The house was perfect for our needs with 6 adults - 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 good sized bathrooms, family room off kitchen, living room and dining room. The pool and lanai area were outstanding and the pool was a great temp. There were ample beach towels which was helpful too. Just a couple things to note: 1) you are only provided one roll (and it was a half roll) of toilet paper so be sure to buy some before arriving. 2) we did have a lot of ants in the kitchen. I know it’s Florida but it’s still worth noting. Claussen Properties did respond when I reached out and brought over ant traps, which did help curb the problem, so that was appreciated. 3) there were no tall trash bags for the kitchen so we bought those too. Only small grocery store bags were provided. 4) there is no furniture on the dock by the canal so you can really sit down by the water. A couple chairs/table there would’ve been nice. Overall, it was a good property for our stay in Marco and we loved having our own pool!

Somewhat dated but very clean. Could use a refresh (Painting , Carpeting, Etc). Great quiet location. great fishing right off of the dock. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome!

Saw sharks and grouper. Fished and caught a catfish but didn't put forth our normal effort of fishing. Busy doing things away from the home so we weren't there much but it's a great comfortable home!
