Quiet location for quick stay

Loved the deck. Amenities provided were nice. Was a little warm in bedroom downstairs overnight, it doesn't get direct flow from AC but has ceiling fan. Remember this is a small cabin, as long as you go in with those expectations you should be good. Small spiral staircase to the upstairs was sturdy, we only went upstairs to check out The view.Loved the curvy Road coming in and the park along the river at the end of the main road. Beware the driveway and concrete road adjacent is steep incline but only for about 50 feet. Two parking spaces just past house.Parking spots are pointing directly at 2nd cabin on property, slightly lower elevation. Other than that, the owner has installed fencing and there is natural growth blocking the two cabins from one another. Remember this is a small cabin

Beautiful Property

Everyone very much enjoyed our stay, plenty of sleeping spots, and the porch is very nice. But the stars and constellation out there is amazing! That was my favorite part. The host was very understanding; we had 3 eight year olds and I was the designated pack mule so, getting in and out of the house was complicated and time consuming. The scenes and views and topography were breathtaking. Very nice getaway from the hustle & bustle to the quite and beauty. Recommended, for sure.

Hill Country Perfection

Couldn't have asked for better. Was even nicer than described (how can you capture those views?!) and beyond comfortable. It had all the things we needed and the host was very friendly and welcoming. Cabin felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

The Longhorn Cabin is wonderful

We truly enjoyed ourselves! The Longhorn Cabin had everything we needed. My parents, older brother, husband, nephews, bonus child and I had a very pleasant experience. Having said that, I do want to point out that the staircase is more like a winding ladder and the ceilings on the second floor, around the beds are low. Other than that, you will more than likely truly enjoy the time you spend here!

A sweet and steep retreat!

Rented this cabin for a quick get away with some friends for a visit to Marble Falls. Cabin was clean and Owner gave detailed instructions on how to safely navigate the property. Definitely recommend checking in during the day, as these roadways are difficult to maneuver when you're unfamiliar. Owner warned the cabin uses well water, but there was a potent sulfur smell from the water that never got better. One of us bravely rinsed off in the shower and ended up smelling worse afterwards. Hoping the owner can address that for future visitors! The single (very) spiral staircase that leads to the twin bed loft and second bedroom is also extremely narrow. My group didn't have any mobility issues, and there is a bedroom downstairs, but we thought folks should know.

Nice Quiet Place to Stay

The house was nice and clean when we arrived. Had no issues checking in. Its tucked back into a small neighborhood so its a quiet place to stay. Great view of the valley towards Lago Vista. The upstairs is tight going up the spiral staircase. We just left all our luggage down stairs and slept upstairs. The bathroom with the shower is downstairs so this wasn't much of an issue for us. The only warning I could give anyone is be prepared for the steep entry into the property. While this was not a problem for us, it could be for someone in the rain or other slick conditions that is not prepared. This could also be worse if hauling a trailer. The road leading into the property entrance is a loop, so it may be easier or more comfortable for some to take the long way around to the entrance to avoid the steep entry/exit turn. The back way around is a little longer and bumpy, but not as steep. So be prepared for the entrance, the stairs and everything else will be fine. I recommend staying here.

Peaceful View

The cabin was so cute and cozy! It had the perfect amount of beds and amenities for our stay. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings to enjoy being out of town. The location was so peaceful and the view was gorgeous. The only issue we had was the smell of the well water.

Super cute cabin with covered patio

We really enjoyed our stay at the Longhorn Cabin. It was very clean, and the owner was very responsive to questions and provided easy check in, key and map/directions. The cabin is really cute and is secluded. Pro-tips: The spiral staircase to get to the loft with 5 beds is difficult if you have a suitcase, or any mobility issues. The coffee maker is keurig, so bring extra pods if you are staying more than a couple of days. Our group made reservations at Flat Creek Winery (15 min away)and had a lovely time.
