Beautiful Manzanita Getaway- Perfect for Family Large or Small - MCA #769

The Bough House is the perfect choice for your family, large or small. It is private, spacious and beautiful. Located only 2 blocks from Downtown Manzanita and 5 easy blocks to the beach.

The grand living/dining area has lots of light and handles a large group comfortably. Enjoy a fabulous meal at the dining room table that seats up to 12, or cozy up on the couches and sit by the gas fireplace. Wall to wall carpeting upstairs and down makes this a perfect shoes-free environment, safe for toddlers and infants. High chair and safety gate on site. Spacious outdoor living space as well, with a wrap-around deck and a 3-burner gas BBQ.

Comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. Downstairs, one bedroom is perfect for the kids. It's all here: TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, desk, chalkboards, bean bag chairs, oversized pillows and plenty of space to play. This room holds 2 twin up/ full bottom bunk beds. Then 2 additional stand alone twins. There is even a portable Pack in Play for a baby.

Next door to the bunk room, there is another spacious bedroom with a King bed and private entrance.

Both share a full bathroom.

Upstairs there is a separate bathroom, and then a bedroom with King sized bed. Then there is the Primary suite. The Primary is extremely open and comfortable with another King size bed, double sink dressing area and private bath.

Wonderful Home for Family Gatherings

This was our third year at this home for a family vacation. We love the great room! There are two bedrooms downstairs which is perfect for a family with young children, giving them separation and privacy. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is awesome, one block to downtown and five blocks to the beach. The host is always quick to respond and accommodating.

Great place for our small family reunion!

What a marvelous stay! The weather was perfect for our 3 days in Manzanita. This is our 4th stay in this vacation rental. The upgrades are very nice. It was great to have a reunion with family from 3 other states in such a beautiful place on the coast.

A beautiful home

This home is great for a larger group. We had 9 people representing 3 generations. All appreciated the home. It was neat, clean and well stocked with everything one will need. Very good location too, with just a short 10 minute walk to the beach.

Great stay for July 4th in Manzanita!

The stay was great! We stayed here in July 2021 and loved it so much we came back in 2023. Not the nicest or newest house on the block, but it is big enough, close enough to the main street and fulfilled all our needs!

Great 4bedroom house! Kitchen was well stocked. Had to communicate with Kim to get the correct WiFi access info. Really appreciated use of wagon to haul beach toys/towels etc. The deck was so nice to hang out and relax. Loved our time there!

Everything We Hoped For

Spent the Thanksgiving holiday here. It was awesome! Great location, the kitchen was big and well stocked, the great room was very comfortable with large sectional, the beds were comfortable, and the host weee accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

As described in previous reviews, this is an ideal home for large families & is very child friendly. Beautiful! It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but we didn’t have any problem with it & the wagon made it easy with the kids & gear.

Rave review for our annual family gathering

This was one of the best rental homes we have stayed in, from the large wrap around couch to comfy beds. The home was spacious and perfect for our various aged group of nine. We enjoyed the walk to the beach and appreciated the handy wagon to ferry our gear. A wonderful place to spend our annual family coast gathering.

Perfect place for our family

Stayed in Manzanita for a family reunion. Loved this house, plenty of room for the 3 kids in the lower level with the parents, and room upstairs for mom & dad and other son & girlfriend. House totally stocked for cooking in too, which was great for our group on nights we weren't with big family group. Only issue was noise from upstairs kitchen can be heard in the main bedroom in lower level but might not be an issue for everyone. Overall, we were very happy with this place!

College Ladies Reunion

We loved the home and its accommodating nature. The beds were great, there were three king-size beds plus a room of single beds. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking and serving. The great room was terrific for the group talking and watching movies. It is a dream home for vacations.

Excellent Property

This is a clean, well maintained and very spacious home in an excellent location. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and having plenty of room to spread out. The sectional has room for everyone! Especially enjoyable was the ability to park our car and walk to everything we enjoyed in manzanita and take nice Long Beach walks. We will be back. Thank you for letting us share your lovely home.

Awesome home!

This house was great! It is clean on the inside with nice furnishings (no stains or weird smells). The kitchen had more than everything I needed to cook. LOVED the dining table for family dinners and playing games. They had roku so our kids could watch their kid programs on TV. The house was a quick walk to the main street and the beach. I would go back in an instant. Beds were comfortable, carpet is nice, seriously this place is great!
