Beautiful castle setting in the hills. A hidden gem. On site Restaurant was delicious. Grounds were gorgeous.

Outside beautiful!! Inside needs a LOT of attention!! Jacuzzi filthy. Fireplace didn’t work. Wooden blinds broken and did not provide privacy. Unable to sleep knowing it was not private. Vents filthy with dirt hanging from them. Soo many little things need taken care of but these are the main ones. Staff and waitress were helpful and friendly. Overall could be worth the money if it wasn’t so dirty. The devil is always in the details.

Growing pains with new rooms added. Staff was friendly. They will succeed with good management. Price point about $145 too high. Attention to detail needs stirred in. Food was tasty but lukewarm.
Very over priced,and the restaurant on site needs a separate place for people that aren’t in wedding parties or rehearsal dinners,we felt very uncomfortable while eating and very loud,that’s once we got our food.

Weekday getaway with all the fixins. Quick retreat for my wife and I , been a long time. Rooms were clean and cozy . The woodwork was meticulously crafted. Beautiful warm feel to the room. We stayed in the Hardesty Suite which was next door to the lobby. Celtic music softly playing amongst the grounds as my wife and I strolled through the frozen twisted sidewalk which revealed something spectacular around every turn. Dinner was amazing at the Cooper Mug . Enjoyed the beef short ribs. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Already planning our next adventure here
Great get away for our 40th anniversary, we positively loved it!
We arrived at the hotel promptly at 7:00pm. We looked up the time of the restaurant before we arrived and noticed that it closed at 8:00pm. Fortunately we were able to order food to go and get it to take back to the room. We got the french onion soup, a small salad, the spinach and artichoke dip. We also ordered the beef stroganoff. The portion was pretty big. So my kids and I shared it. It was so delicious. The noodled were homemade and the beef pieces were tender and without fat. Everything was reasonable priced. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. My sister and I took the kids on a nice walk to explore everything. There was a dragon statue and all kinds of little things that went along with the castle. The brick patios around added a nice touch to the ambiance of the castle. The breakfast was also great. There was instant oatmeal, bagels, milk, and the coffee was really good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was really clean and very comfortable. The bed was so soft and I slept so well. The shower was also wonderful and relaxing. I only wish we got to stay longer. I loved our own private balcony, It rained when we arrived so we weren't really able to enjoy it, but in the morning we were able to take a nice walk. Overall we had a wonderful time and highly recommend.
