I like the Solaire atmosphere. I didn't like the idea of having a dress code when entering the hotel just to check in. I was wearing a casual, sleeveless tshirt but neatly worn. Also, when checking out, I didn't have the deposit slip with me to get it refunded. I asked the clerk if the deposiit was documented in the computer. He didn't respond but insisted to have me show the receipt. Why? So if I didn't show any receipt, I wouldn't get the deposit back? That needs to change. There was a copy of the signed deposit slip in the computer system and folder; no need for the guest to present a hard copy. Didn't make sense.

Can’t say bad about this hotel it’s the best. Foods are excellent, staff are very helpful, room is clean and has everything you need. I highly recommend it to anybody.

The hotel itself and the room staff were accomodating but desk personnel were not. For a very short late checkout we were charged over double the daily room rate, which was extremely excessive, given that the hotel was not apparently particularly full. The amount was over $330 US dollars for just a six hour period!

We will definitely come back here. We will try the bay tower next time.

My overall stay at Solaire Resort and Casino was excellent. The staff was professional and courteous. They gave me a room with a spectacular view of Manila Bay which I requested. The food at the Food Court was great too. I would definitely come back here! The only negative thing I don't like is the smoking in the Casino, but I still rate Solaire as excellent.

Solaire Resort & Casino is an excellent place to stay! We enjoyed the casino,the games,the rooms where we stayed,and the staff are helpful & friendly!

It almost had a perfect score from me and the hotel experience was memorable up until checkout time when it turned deplorable.Was so mad with the dishonest hotel limo/car service trying to scam me of fraudulent fees - padded my bill by doubling the time of use. The front desk going back & forth with the limo service inspite of me showing proof to the contrary. I had to demand to talk to the day manager to facilitate a resolution because it was taking a long time already. What was damning is I gave the driver a generous tip yet him or the limo service company wanted to cheat me more than what was fair. I talked to day mgr.on duty and explicitly made my feelings known & what the hotel should do with that driver. My wife & I were very upset & me more disappointed being an ex pat of the country. It left a very bad taste in my mouth because each year we travel to Asia and stay in 4-5 star hotels as much as possible and never had an experience like this. Because of this, I consider this a "falling" star unless hotel management does something about it. If it happened to me, it could have happened before and could happen again. Appalling!! So Orbitz please put this up.

Couldn't rate this place more highly. Extremely high standards of customer service, excellent rooms and an elegant, modern resort. Side note: I don't gamble so can't really rate the casino itself. The spa was outstanding. Prices were reasonable compared to similar resorts in the US.

I'm not going to deduct any points because they did provide 5-Star service but I did want to mention a few things that could use some improvement. 1) While taking a shower the water does not stay at temp, it goes hot and cold and you pretty much have to stay out of the water unless rinsing, it will go to burning hot to ice cold in a flash. 2) When I stayed at the Luxe in CDO they did provide many alternatives to pork for breakfast meats but the Solaire did not, all of the bacon and sausage were pork, no beef bacon or beef sausage, no chicken sausage, no turkey sausage. They did have some grilled beef strips which were good but not really a breakfast meat in my opinion. The pancakes and waffles were cold as well as the butter, too cold to spead on toast. And the french toast has some pork inside of it. They did not have scrambled eggs and they don't know how to make an omlette so you get one fried egg at a time that is left on a plate. Other than that breakfast was pretty good. 3) No airport shuttle. When I have stayed at other hotels such as the Luxe in CDO they offered an airport shuttle to pick me up and drop me off. Solaire offered to arrange a cab for 100.00 USD. when a standard cab cost about 10.00 USD.

Stayed 3days in April. The weather in Manlia was mid-summer. But I could not feel the summer in the hotel. They have good airconditioning unliker other hotels in Manila

good hotel but bathroom a bit dirty esp around the tiles

Solaire is a very beautiful casino hotel that can match the best casino hotels in the world. The contemporary decor and service with a smile attitude of its staff made this vacation memorable for us. Check in is fast and friendly. The queen studio is huge with wonderful amenities. Wifi is fast. Toiletries are l'occitane. Everything in the room especially the sitting area and bay view makes it hard for a guest to go elsewhere. Truly a wonderful vacation.

Despite being in the relative middle of nowhere Solaire is a fantastic place and there really is no need to go anywhere outside of the resort. The room I had was extraordinarily clean and very spacious. Security was on point as they called me when I had a visitor to make sure I was expecting someone. They also called after my guest left to make sure i was alright. There are several great restaurants to choose from and an enormous amount of table gaming, and slots. Staff was friendly and catered to my needs without question. I plan on staying at Solaire again in the near future.

the best hotel
