A boutique hotel where you ca relax and unwind. They have good service of food that can satisfied your stomach. The location was near at CCp Complex, PICC, malls and Rizal Stadium. A very classy ambience that suites everyone's taste. A must visit hotel.
Orchid Garden Suites has always been a family preference when we go to Manila to watch concerts and musicals. It is located where its near concert/musical venues so it convenient for us. The hotel has been operating for a long time but the facilities are well taken cared of. It has the touch of both old and new. Lobby decorations are cozy as well as the rooms. Staff are helpful. It is a walking distance to malls SM, Harrison for quick shopping and affordable dining. A little further there are also restaurants near concert venues.
Have stayed here a number of times over the years due to its proximity to the Rizal Memorial sports precinct. It's relatively uninspired but clean, functional and not too far from the airport. The bar and restaurant are nice enough.
The facade and reception area of the hotel is awesome. Our room (206) had a modern touch and the beds were great. We appreciate that coffees, teas, and bottled waters were readily available onced we arrived. The downside during our experience is the shower and pool. We expected that we have a HOT/cold shower, yet we only had cold. It gave us the impression that we have a hot shower due to the red paint of the shower knob. Also, we expected that the pool was big, clear and clean. The photos of the pool hotel on the web is different from what we saw. We were not sure if it is because of the chlorine but the water was cloudy. We were dismayed because we planned to have a night swim.
3 to 4 star quality at 2 star hotel prices. The rooms are very spacious although the amenities/furniture are a bit tired. The guards, concierge and the female front desk personnel are very friendly. Male front desk personnel are not as friendly. Buffet breakfast offers good choices. They offer cheaper room rates for walk-ins.
Stayed in a twin room which needed a bit of a make over The AC was very noise so couldn't really have it on at night. The rest of hotel was ok >Good breakfast and meals in the restaurant where good value. Overall you got what you pay for.
Went last April 29, 2017 and rented an executive room for boyfie's birthday bash with friends. The suite has 1bedroom with king size bed, decent little kitchen with utensils and fridge, table good for 4 and sofa that is clean. Quality of room and service compensates the price of the suite. The hotel is not as big and fancy as the other typical hotel as the establishment used to be an ancestral home. dont expect big pool area, wide hallway and big elevators. Not recommendable for maseselang tao but a good spot for backpackers.
Accomodating staff. Had to check in early for a convention and they accomodated our request well. The building was old but still charming especially their restaurant. Some entrees were ok, nothing special. Over all, we enjoyed our short and sweet stay.
I stayed in this hotel for four nights with my daughter at the Executive Suite! Thinking what an Executive Suite normally offers, I was really disappointed to say the least! There is a big empty refrigerator, old and dirty kitchen cupboards, old and dirty kitchen wares.....why are they there, I can't explain as there is not even a microwave! The bathroom was horrible with no amenities!!!! I had to call housekeeping twice to have the towels, shampoo, foam bath, slippers etc. The corridor to our suite stink with foul food odours and there is no airconditioning so the difference in temperature when one gets out of the room is revolting! At this point, I think their GOOD REVIEWS aren't really true! The description of the hotel in the website does not comply with reality. They even boast of a Spa in the premises but it's not true! No Spa!!! The panoramic pool as they call it is very dirty and I wouldn't even dip my feet in it! It's slightly bigger than a jacuzzi! I won't recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy! I even cancelled my second booking as we were supposed to stay here after our trip to the beach but with the first experience, I decided to just move out and stay in a different more decent hotel which I can call a hotel! Disgusting place......
everytime I come to Manila, i would often choose this place over the rest because of its cleanliness. And it hasn't changed very much. Plus, their staff are pretty much ok. There's a shopping mall and restaurants, fast-food nearby. Plus, their breakfast buffet is awesome.
