The room they offer was far from what it said in the website. Staff said they where going to look in to it, but did anything. Hotel was far from were i want to be and have hard time to go out and and in. I ask to move hotel and they ignore my request, I feel with the error of descriping of room I should be given that choice. it cause me hardship in dealing with my porpose in the Philippines. I do not want to go back there. But still hope to be compensated.

I booked the Lancaster because it was next door to a business meeting i had scheduled. With Manila traffic i wanted to avoid having to travel to my meeting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and amenities were not good. Breakfast was sparse. it is just not up to international traveler expectations. The one objectionable detail was having to stand and wait while someone from housekeeping went to check my room before i was allowed to close my account. The last time that happened to me it was in Colombia.

The hotel exceeds my expectations with its value. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends

The head staff at the breakfast buffet was not kind to other workers. The guests are able to hear about people he chooses to talk badly about, be it staff or guests at the hotel. This behavior makes the ambiance of the hotel restaurant uncomfortable and very negative. The staff at the breakfast buffet need to smile and be happy also....could he be the reason of their unhappy faces. Another thing is that the bathtub has a very bad smelling drain. It made me nauseous while showering. But, if you are booked there what can you do but suffer the smell. It was like showering in a sewer. So that killed relaxing in the bathroom (.

Great location...Celebrated my 64th birthday here...Helpful staff..Great food at hotel and local foods.

A nice hotel and it's not that expensive. Surprisingly, all the food that we ordered from their kitchen tastes good. I recommend trying their rice boxes particularly the chicken curry.

The Lancaster hotel was a nice and friendly hotel. The staff was great and the location was not bad. The buffet breakfast was nice and a good verity. The pool and fitness center was nice, and the lounge was nice too. I will definitely be returning.

staff was attentive , prompt , friendly and knowledgeable. will stay again when i travel to manila

Staff is very friendly, always smiling and accommodating! You can detect it in tone of voice, eye contact and their never ending smiles! The room is very clean. The only thing that they need to improve is the breakfast buffet restaurant had a housefly and i had to shoo it away and ask for a fly zapper to zap it dead! I offered to zap it though because the staff couldn't catch it from his distance...i was closer to the fly.

Picked this hotel due to it's location close to family living in Mandaluyong. Room and toilet were clean. A/C was working well to keep room nice and cool. They try to be green by having a power saving card. We asked if can leave the card in the power card slot so the power stays on and, they agreed. Location close to the Star Mall, Shangrila Plaza, SM Megamall and Tramway Buffet Plaza (open 24hours) made our stay very convenient. Lots of choices to get a bite to eat since most restaurants deliver 24hours that includes McDonald's

Located pretty close to the west side of the Shaw Avenue subway, this new hotel was the nicest I stayed in in Manila. At $64 USD (before tax) it isn't too expensive. Because it is a newer hotel, it doesn't suffer the wear-and-tear that I saw in the two other Manila hotels I stayed in. Staff were friendly. No complaints.

Nice hotel but few elevators are slow and breakfast is a mad rush... waited for my food for a while a couple of times

The service at the hotel was probably the best I've ever had. There was never a delay with anything and everyone was very friendly. There are 3 malls within walking distance for those who shop and a golf course also in walking distance. Taxis are easy to get with the help of staff who are right outside the entrance. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who asks

I was in the Philippines for a short 3 day stay in Manila. At the time of my stay, the hotel offered free ballroom dancing but, the room was under maintenance as was the pool. The hotel did offer free nightly entertainment from 9pm to 2am in their Sky Lounge which was nice.

Like the friendly smile of the staff. Laundry service is late and damaged a shirt. Difficult to flag a taxi due to notorius traffic jam.
