Pleasant stay in a quiet area

The house is in quiet suburb of Manchester with fairly easy access from the M60. It's quite a modern house tucked away in the corner of a cul-de-sac. The property has everything you need for a pleasant stay and it is very clean. During our stay it was really cold and wet outside, so we had to put the heating on when first arriving and again later that evening. However the second evening we had an issue with the boiler, so we had no heating except a small fan heater in the living room for heat. The person who manages the property did call out a heating engineer, but they turned up hours later, just after midnight. Not ideal as we had had a busy day and were tired, had children in bed and also an important appointment to attend the following day. We couldn't even have a lie in the following morning, as it was our day of departure, and we had to vacate the property by 11am. Despite the problem with the heating, we would probably happily return to the property, as it was convenient for us, and we did enjoy our stay. My only hope is, next time the weather is warmer and the owner has replaced the dated boiler!
