very friendly accommodating staff, great free wifi and breakfast was good to with a big selection to choose from. the only let down was the bar closing so early. rooms are nice and big with comfy beds

Best part of this hotel is it's location. Well located in Oxford Street all the attractions of tourist interest are within walking distance. It also had a departmental store in proximity where all the items of day to day use can be purchased in reasonable price. Another 50 metres or so and you are amongst few top quality restaurant with a night life. As far as the hotel facilities are concerned it's not different from other hotels of same group or range like ibis or premier inn. Medium size cozy rooMs with basic amenities and clean area. Breakfast spread with basic english or continental style. We Indians are used to a vast menu in similar price range hotels in India. Also mind it well almost in all European country you have to carry your luggage by self only. So pack what you can carry..

I booked hear as a very last minute guest through We were visiting Manchester to attend a Take That concert at the Etihad Stadium. Location: Ideally situated and very easy. Minutes away from the Arndale and All amenities. Parking: NCP parking across the road at a reduced rate if staying at the Holiday Inn Express, lots of available parking spaces and very easy to pay when checking out. Welcome: A lovely warm welcome from the Reception team, we were asked what level we would like our room and were given lots of information with regards to Breakfast and the closing times of the bar. The Reception also kindly booked us a cab which arrived within minutes and gave us details of a firm to call for our return. Room: The room was very spacious and the air conditioning was a blessing as it was 31°c when we stayed. A gorgeous bathroom with a double shower. The bathroom did have a slight drainage smell, although this was also smelt in the main street so I think it was more of a city drainage problem rather then the hotels problem. Coffee facilities available but no tea or milk, not an issue though as we asked for these at Reception. Bedding and towels exceptionally clean, remote for TV didn't work but again this is a minor issue. Breakfast: We arrived for breakfast at 9am. A great choice of cereals, hot options Inc Bacon, Sausage, Egg and Beans as well as lots of pastries and bread to toast. Tea, coffee and fresh juice readily available overall a lovely breakfast. Can't complain at all for £69 we would highly recommend for a visit if you are visiting Manchester.

One night stay. Hotel chosen as it was close to trams and buses we needed. Usual Holiday Inn standard with functional breakfast. Reception staff excellent with leaving luggage and arranging a key for later when partner arrived

I stayed here for a few days while attending a conference . I found the hotel to be clean light , airey and well maintained . Room was also of a high standard with all the basics for a comfortable stay . Breakfast consisted of basic hot and cold options available , but of good quality . Would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again .

This hotel was central, tram stop 5mins round corner. Modern decor, clean and fresh, great staff, breakfast good. Quiet room considering location. Fresh towels daily. Toiletries supplied - only body wash seconding up as shampoo. Only negative about stay.

hotel is fairly basic in that the room doesn't come with all the little comforts you get with some hotels, no soap, lotions etc - the bathroom was lovely, a large walk in shower, extremely clean, large and very comfortable double bed with plenty of pillows if required, a small settee - I also liked the way the room was laid out, the hair dryer was actually by a large mirror and below that a further plug for straigtners - so no frills but there was tea and coffee and I would stay again if going out for the evening in Manchester - car parking we used was at the print works which costs £18 overnight - there probably is cheaper parking elsewhere you would just have to speak with the hotel and I do have to say the breakfast was excellent, the seating area and that's all I can say it is as its not a restaurant has a reasonable amount of tables, but the choice and standard of food is excellent, apart from the hot drinks but then I am not a fan of coffee that comes out of a machine - you might.

I stayed here for one night for business the next morning. This hotel appears brand spanking new (I was there June 2017.) and is very well thought out. There is a common area where you can watch TV with others while having a drink or snack. The breakfast in the morning was convenient with a very open space to hang out. This location also has a spacious parking lot if you arrive by car. Overall and excellent and convenient stay.

Stayed here for RW at the Etihad on Friday night. Queued for 20 mins to check in despite being an IHG member. Room adequate but sleep was disrupted by the extremely noisy A/C unit. Breakfast as previously mentioned by others was a shambles. No tables, tables full of uncleared food. 20 minutes queue for what food that was left and we weren't late. Another 10 minutes to check out and get car park ticket stamped. It is well positioned for Arena and Printworks. However I will not stay here again as the business owners obviously put profits (by not employing enough staff on shift) before customers and the Holiday Inn brand.

Stayed here on 3rd June for robbie at ethiad. Arrived just after 12 and was happy that we could check in as we was prepared to go back. Rooms lovely good size beds very comfy and air con. Central location and close to print works. Ordered taxi from phone in reception arrived on time and great taxi driver from street cars very friendly and only cost £7 Drinks in bar after wards good seating Breakfast very disorganised people queuing without getting tables so as we had a table we had to queue for half hour for food toaster where it is holds everyone up as people don't think that more than 2 slices can go at once. Otherwise lovely hotel
