Although the staff was very polite and kind, the bathroom I stayed in was not clean. There was hair in the sink and shower from a previous guest and I only realized at night since I was out the whole day. Not a very pleasant sight.

During our trip to the Amazon region we stayed 5 nights in total in this Holiday Inn. First of all the check-in was super smooth and the receptionist named Rafael was super-friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean and the beds super-comfy according to the Holiday standards worldwide. What was a really plus, that this hotel still caters for smokers and we had a smoking room. Thanks Holiday Inn Manaus that you treat smokers as human beings. The location of the hotel is somewhat out of town, but on the other side you need a car anywhere in Manaus, even in a hotel in downtown, when your are on your own. We felt all the time safe and walked to the Japanese restaurant across the street and the shopping mall right besides the hotel. There is also a supermarket close by, but there we went by car. The hotel has an open air pool on the top floor, which comes very handy for an afternoon swim. Every member of the staff was always smiling and helpful. One day I had a stomach upset and the waiter of the room service was very concerned and brought tea and gave advices how to treat me best. We ate twice at the restaurant a la carte and the food was excellent. The only downside was the evening buffet, which we found expensive and not tasty at all. Breakfast was okay, but nothing outstanding. Overall we can fully recommend this Holiday Inn!

This is the best Holiday Inn I stayed so far and really deserves to be no.1 in TripAdvisor for 5 years. Efficient and friendly service, good upgrade and a nice welcome dessert. Restaurant serves a delicious tambaqui (local fish) and grilled pupunha (heart of palm). Do recommend to try. Restaurant serves a delicious tambaqui (local fish) and grilled pupunha (heart of palm). I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns around the world and this is one of the gems in the Holiday Inn stable. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast was varied and very good. The service sets this apart. They are friendly, helpful, and make the hotel stand out. The location is not great for tourists but there are taxis avalable and with the hotel help will get you everyplace. Highly recommend this place whenever you visit Manaus.

One more business trip to Manaus, once again to the Holiday Inn where a safe a clean room awaits you and a friendly staff. What I did not plan was to get Food poisoning from a restaurant in the city (nice restaurant, or so it seemed). But I did, so bad..., I needed a Doctor who came to hotel, which my colleagues had arranged. Upon knowing of my situation, Fonti, the hotel's manager immediately called me and ensured that I had the right food and beverage during convalescence. In fact, she herself brought up steamed white rice and clear chicken broth and a lemonade w/ salt (odd, but at that time it was God sent). I don't take for granted professional service while traveling, yet this expression of care and compassion has me as #1 fan of the Manaus Holiday Inn. Thank you Fonti!!!!

HI Manaus is deserving of its No.1 status. Have stayed at this hotel twice in the past 2 months. The facility and staff exceeded my expectations. The staff are courteous, always enthusiastic and professional. The facilities are clean and very well maintained. Food and beverage services are excellent. I have been an international traveler for 20 plus years and stayed at some very nice hotels but rarely have I seen a staff consistently provide this high level of customer service.........Nicely done ladies and gentlemen!!! Patricia, Fonty, Noor, Abraao, Jonathan, Fabyana, Alexandre, Wilgen, Carlitos, Suzanne and all you others.........Muito Obrigado e good job.

New, clean and excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooftop pool is also nice to ease the equatorial heat of Manaus . Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Everything as to expect in a Holiday inn.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and had choosen the hotel as it is the number 1 on tripadvisor. We had not been disappointed. Everything is a bit dated, but also everything works and everything is absolutely clean. The staff are really wonderful, the food is good, they have a roof top pool and a gym, so all in all an excellent choice in Manaus.

I will have been staying at the Hotel Holiday Inn for one year as of September 13th. Being away from my home for such an extended period of time for my job is very hard. The entire hotel staff bend over backwards to make me feel comfortable. They have become like family to me.

Extremely grateful to the team at the Holiday Inn Manaus for an exceptional set of stays, book-ending my Amazon shoots. Staff are very considerate, rooms are in very good condition with all working amenities and a well maintained rooftop pool. Large supermarket across the street, and a small mall next door with a free evening shuttle service to a far larger Mall. Breakfast has an adequate selection with excellent made to order eggs/omelettes/tapioca dishes. Mr. Luiz Magalhaes was recommended to me as an English speaking private Amazon guide for my week away and although more expensive than other deals, was tireless in ensuring we packed in so much of the Amazon that most on the cheaper tours could only dream of. This fellow is very highly recommended and contactable through the hotel.
