Corinthia Hotel St. George's Bay

It is nice hotel located on picturesque bay and most of rooms have sea and bay view. Rooms and corridors are decorate tastefully in beige pastel tones, furniture is solid. But hotel authorities should do some home works. 1.Why not to send somebody from kitchen to cheapest brasseries in Paris or Vienna ?Croissants in this hotel are uneatable (by the way as in most hotels in Malta,I do not know why?)They smell ugly coco nut or palm secondary usage oil and always under cooked. Maybe tri to Europe could help ,if decent oil would be used.... 2.Management should train and control reception staff. When we checked out great crowd appeared of checking in and out.Ladies in the reception maybe preferred lunch,as not all desks were occupied at peak time.Crowd was uncontrolled and most smart were the first. 3.Buffet dinner hall was more/less empty all our stay.We tried once. Cold meals choice was good. But hot meals...Oh Ye'a ...I tried rabbit which was over fried and tough. I also tried sword fish, but could not swallow even a piece- absolutely uneatable..So we understood why this restaurant is empty. In any case it is good hotel and there are some good restaurants for dinner around,so You may survive looking into picaresque bay.

If you want to be near the action on St. Julian but don’t want to be on top of it, this is a reasonable hotel choice. As others have said, it is a four-star masquerading as a five-star; you will have spacious rooms; uneven but largely pleasant staff; outrageous prices for in-room bar items and outside services; large bathrooms but spotty toilets. The lobby is inviting, reception warm, pool nicely positioned, ample (and overpriced for Malta) restaurant options. Good closet space, good mattress, fluffy towels, terrible pillows. TV has channels in at least six languages (I stopped counting) but no movies in any of them. If you want to watch a film in-room, pay € 15 for the viewing. Also, the TV does not have channels for background listening music. Housekeeping replenished bath toiletries generously, but did not substitute shoe polish pads. One non-UK electrical socket, otherwise you need to ask the desk for converters. Room insulation is good. The Executive Floors have their own lounge with excellent fresh-squeezed orange juice all through the day. The other offerings don’t vary from day to day. Breakfast breads and pastries are poor. Pancakes in the main dining room are dreadful. Fresh fruit is excellent one day, inedible the next. WiFi is free, ubiquitous, reliable though slow. The gym is well-equipped but lacks wipes for the equipment from one user to the next. They (the machines) seem not to be cleaned at all. Ask if you want a seaview room; otherwise you might wind up with a breathtaking view of the hotel parking lot.

4 nights : wide bedroom with all necessary things. Confortable beds. Bathroom ok. Hair dryer too short. 2 Beautiful swimming pool. Direct access to the see. Breakfast ok. Hotel not far from St Julian center.

This hotel was gorgeous. However, we felt the hotel was more geared to couples and not families. There were no activities for the children, no kids club, no opportunities for children to make friends.

Our children gave us a gift of this holiday for our anniversary. Hotel Corinthia was recommended by a friend and it certainly exceeded our expectations. It's a fabulous hotel, we'll be back for sure, can't wait. 😎

Everything was absolutely perfect. Hotel room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and nice. And most of all the food is excellent and there are a lot of restaurants and bars to choose from. We'll definitely visit again and again.

Nice, polite, helpful people.Good possibility for relax and swimm in the sea. Very nice area with good restaurants. Clean and controlled room. We received a very nice support to celebrate my wife's birthday with a fine cake. Thank you all one more time!

This is a hotel which is without any faults. The accommodation is very luxurious, food wonderful and staff very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive with good eye for detail. The place is kept spotlessly clean and nothing seems to be too much trouble to them. A very enjoyable stay. Will be back.

Quite disappointed with the service at Corinthia Hotel St George's Lido.... the lido has been open weeks and still no ropes to mark the swimming zone! Boats are continously crossing the swimming area... Isn't this a Health & Safety requirement

The Hotel is located in a very quiet area but at the same time, with a five to ten minutes walk, you end up in the middle of the greatest entertainment area of Malta. The hotel gardens, pools, spa, lido, lounges and restaurants are heavenly kept and really worth a stay... or more if you have the chance.
