Corinthia Hotel St. George's Bay

Price is (way) too expensive considering what I expect a "5 stars hotel". Rooms are quite small, old and smelly. Malta is a nice place, but tbh it's nowhere close to other Mediterranean options (i.e Greece islands) in my view.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Excellent choices for breakfast. Ate out for lunch and dinner. Bed very comfortable. Nice room but didn’t think it was 5*. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Good local bus service. Would definitely visit again.

Just amazing water view from the hotel made us jaw dropping. The service of hotel are great, staffs nice and helpful, hotel restaurants are wonderful, provided choices and yummy dishes. To enjoy the fantastic swimming pools made our stay like in heaven. The beautiful view from our balcony are highlight of our room, except the old facilities of bath room , otherwise room neat and clean. Buffet breakfast are good with indoor or outdoor tables. The shuttle bus service to and from the city center are useful. It’s one of the smart choice of hotel amongst our vacations.

Excellent hotel, very attentive staff, Spa, gym, hair salon, several restaurants (Henry J Beans was our favourite). Hotel arranged rentacar. Also shuttle to Valetta was very useful. Bus stop near by - also hop on hop of terminus close

A very well known Hotel with a reputation that exceed it. Did 3 nights and had a wonderful time, rooms are clean and spacious, restaurants are magnificent, every one would try the fine dining Caviar & Bull, Staff was great and room service was delicious as we had an Italian platter which we enjoyed in the balcony facing the bool and sea view. A well deserved 5 Star Hotel.

This is now my 3rd trip to Corinthia and I would not hesitate to return year on year. It does exactly what it is supposed to do which is to allow me to recharge my batteries and read a book! Breakfast is amazing, the sea is perfect to swim in and the sun lounges are abundant! Staff are extremely courteous and attentive.

My final 2 nights of my Amalfi coast trip is staying here in this beautiful hotel. There are many amenities available here but I have been so busy I haven’t been able to enjoy the pools, the spa, the gym, the grounds and the restaurants. I will be back.

Very good hotel, all staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth spending the extra to be on the executive floor, the food was fab and in a relaxing atmosphere, lots of free sunbeds but not sure if this is because we went out of season! All in all a great hotel if you want a relaxing holiday away from the lively area of St Julians.

Stayed for 3 nights, be wary of hidden charges, 50 euro extra a night as "pre authorization", still waiting for my refund. Minibar was not stocked up fully on arrival, not going to be used anyway, however they stocked it fully the following day and tried to charge us for items not stocked previously claiming that it was taken. Spoke to reception, who were very understanding, and ensured that I wouldnt be charged. Reception/foyer area very nice, good views. Stayed on 3rd level, rooms a bit dated, could do with a makeover, double bed was two single beds put together, however, single bed covers on bed, instead of double bed cover. Air con worked thankfully.

Came here to get a quiet break and had just that, hotel staff great and Alex at the concierge went the little extra to help, everything we needed was here or local, went out and found some great restaurants, walked in the evening to Spinola bay which was more what we wanted than the bustle of St George’s bays night life, good choice in Valletta, did the Thursday walk tower to tower with Sam and can thoroughly recommend that, very interesting guy and we actually learned something of the history and fauna, in all ‘did what it said on the tin’ would come back as so much more to do and see
