Really good place to stay hotel is located approximately 50mtr from the beach Staff are all very Very good reception is Very helpful And polite The entertainment is reasonable to listen to but finishes far far too early 10.30pm then it's twiddle your thumbs time The hotel in general is very good. , Sun beds were quite easy to get , The bar staff were very good at their job no one as we no had to wait long to be served and the drinks were all of good quality SORRY BUT NOW FOR THE BAD POINTS the pool area needs attention to cleandliness The taxes you pay on arrival are silly (if you want to loose tourism your government need to review the costs associated with the plan,) The room safes 3 euro per day is ridiculous when you go all inclusive then you should mean ALL INCLUSIVE Not pay extra for the safes When you get there 10 days. ,equates to ten X 3. Equal 30 euro taxes,10X 1.5 FOR ,2, PEOPLE equal 30 euro total amount. 60 euro and you havent left reception yet SIXTY POUNDS GONE ALREADY IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY THEN IT BECOMES EXPENSIVE. ALSO room service good and clean,But arrive at the hotel for 10 nights No room service Sunday no room service Thursday no room service again on Sunday. This means that you use the same towels to shower for two days on the trot three times during the stay ( Clean your own room, make your own bed's, clean the bath and sink ) Rediculas I'm on holiday and I am expecting to do this ourselves we have paid for your services and expect to have them , not to be cleaning my own room Now The dinning room good food BUT COLD OR AT BEST ONLY WARM WE wasnt impressed The Italian restaurant looks good we actually booked for a meal , But then we saw the chef walking around with his apron on well if that doesn't put you off your Italian meal then nothing will NEEDLESS TO SAY WE CANCELLED. We actually never saw any hotel management to express our concerns as I don't think they were very bothered about there guests what so ever we had very bad rain one day was they bothered about the guests NOT ONE BIT Overall would we stay again A DEFINITE NO
Super family holiday very friendly staff, good food, lovely hotel with sea views from whatever room you have very spacious just couldn't ask for more, only down side is the time it takes to get there from the airport but worth it in the end.
Myself, Fiance and 6 year old daughter arrived home from this hotel yesterday. Overall we had a great holiday and really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very spacious and clean and dispite the other reviews about the noise, this wasn't an issue for us and we were on the 3rd floor. The pool is really nice, quite deep for little ones but my daughter always had her armbands on so it wasn't a problem, she spent all day in there! We had 2 days of really bad weather and couldn't go out by the pool so there wasn't much to do. The rain was so heavy that we couldn't go to the beach or shops so we were stuck in the hotel. Everyone just sat in the reception looking very bored. I think the hotel could of played some music or got the animation staff to inject some fun into the place as it felt like an airport waiting area. The food choice was good and they had a different theme every night however it was always a bit cold. Some people were heating it up in the microwave which you don't really expect to have to do. You can book one evening in the pool bar for an Italian night. We went there on our second to last night thinking it would be a nice treat being served at the table instead of having to go up and get your own food... The whole thing was awful!! From the service to the food. It WAS NOT Italian for a start. I had chewy pork in a peppercorn sauce which I just couldn't eat, followed by a curdled cheesecake that made me feel sick. All 3 of us left our food as it just wasn't ediable. Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful and if they sorted the food issue this could be a fantastic place. The location is brilliant and the views over the beach are amazing. Good variety of shops too. Overall we had a great time but not sure I would return purely because of the food
Nice hotel but not worth what we paid, decor and pool area very good, the entertainment and reastraunt let's it down, reastraunt not very spacious , and no wine glasses for a four star hotel. Wi Fi was very good and worked in our rooms
Aparthotel was clean with friendly staff, food average rooms not good for self catering as there is no cutlery plates pots pans or stove only a microwave fridge and kettle,no table or coffee table so if you want to cook for your self this hotel,is not for you
Just home from sa coma platja on Tuesday and already looking to go again next year. My 8 year old daughter loved the hotel and friends last she had made and staff she grew bonds with so much it was a struggle to take her away from the hotel to do other things. The entertainment crew Cristian & Amber were so good with the kids and really connected with them making there holiday one to remember. Cristian especially we will never forget, he is such a lovely soul and will be someone we will never forgot and are going keep in touch with. He also helped out family out of work time, make sure we knew how to get to the best restraunts. We had read the trip adviser comments before booking the holiday and so took others advise on emailing about 5th floor and upwards to get a good view. When we arrived we were so lucky to find we were on the highest floor (level 7 room 714) and right bang in the middle. I would say we had the best room in the full hotel which made our holiday incredible as the view was outstanding. We watched the sunrise and set evey morning and also got the opera unity to see the orange moon so close to us it looked like you could touch it. The beach is not even a minute walk from the pool area. My mum who was with us is looking at taking my daughter back next year with a lovely family they met whist there.
myself and family visited this hotel at the end of June and we where pleasantly surprised on how nice the hotel was and how clean and modern our room was. We were all inclusive which the hotel offered a large variety of drink and food(which wasn't always the greatest). My daughter took ill(tonsillitis) whilst we Were there and vomited during the night, following morning cleaner came in and was very helpful leaving us extra sheets just incase it happened again and later on also received a call from hotel manager asking if my daughter was ok and if we required anything to just call and she would sit it... it was also her birthday and the hotel staff left a gift in our room whilst we were out.. these little gestures go a long way. Only thing that really lets this hotel down is the entertainment for both kids and adults. This really needs to be addressed as some nights we left hotel to seek entertainment from other venues and a neighbouring hotel across the road. I would definitely visit thb sa coma again.
I woul expect a 4 stars hotel much more cleaner than this , not enough room services, twice a week is not enough for beach holiday. No bin in the room and dirty blankets in arrival was very disappointing . A part of that other services are good, great food , good atmosphere, nice pool and fantastic beach.
Lovey hotel. Rooms very nicely decorated and clean. Lovely large balcony. Lifts a little dated to the rest of the hotel, slow too. Walked to fifth floor most of time. We were in room 520 and right opposite the entertainment pub across the road. It was not too bed for us as we had a teenager on the settee bed nearest the door. We were back late so the music was coming to the end but if we had younger children or back earlier it would of been annoying as it's very very loud. Food was good, different variety every evening. We were half board and paid for drinks on the evening but all free at breakfast time. We only got a sun bed around pool on two afternoons as we walked back from the beach. It was ridiculous how they were all occupied so early. On the plus side the beach is amazing and the ocean was so clear and warm. lots of lovely bike tracks to ride on.
Travelled to this hotel on 20th July 2017 with my husband and two boys (9 & 13) arrived about 11.15pm, checking in was nice and easy, tourist tax was 34.65euros for 13 nights I had emailed the hotel direct after booking to request a room on the middle floor, and was told no guarantee but will try their best, we ended up in room 514 which was absolutely fantastic, middle floor and middle of the hotel so the view was amazing. There was food left in our rooms as we had missed dinner, plates of bread, cheese, meats, fruit and bottles of water, the bar closes at 12.00 so we were told there was still time to get a drink. The hotel room was lovely and spacious, this is the first time we have had a "suite" and have always been in the same room together, the main bedroom was bigger than any of the hotels we have stayed in when there has been 4 beds in it!!! There is a tv in each room with a few english channels on. The bathroom is adequate, with hairdryer and as previous reviews the shower is so powerful, you cannot put it on full as it just sprays everywhere else in the bathroom, bit of tweaking and its fine. The living room area was also big, with a sofa bed and camp bed in there for our sons, we didn't put the beds away in the daytime as there was still plenty of room to walk around. There was a fridge and microwave in the living area. You could hear the noise from the Britannia pub behind but it never kept them awake. One thing that did keep us awake on the first weekend we were there was a "fiesta" that takes place every year, we didn't know anything about it before we went and I know a lot of people complained, we were there from Thursday 20th July and it went on until the Sunday, in all honesty me and my husband enjoyed the extra entertainment sat on the balcony of the hotel and watching what was happening, they had a stage in the carpark in front of the hotel, and also funfair rides at the side of the hotel, on the Saturday night they had a band, they were setting up all day but started playing about 10-30-11.00pm, we watched until around 12.30 and they were still in full swing, we both managed to go to sleep but woke up again at 3.30am and it was still going!! It didn't keep us awake as we both managed to go back to sleep, but I know there was loads of complaints to the Jet2 rep and requests to call the police etc, but apparently the police were there in the crowd so was not going to do anything about it. We were lucky that we didn't have any small children that were affected by being kept awake and can totally understand why some people were not happy, but to us it was part of the Spanish culture and we enjoyed it, especially the kids dancing on the last day, they were amazing, so if you are thinking of going end of July and this might be an issue best to check the dates of the fiesta. We actually missed this the rest of the holiday as the entertainment in the hotel wasn't as "entertaining" but we are never ones for staying for the entertainment in the evenings, it was only because we were on the balcony that we heard it. The food was fine, I love trying different types of food and I can't say there is anything I didn't enjoy. You can book to go to the Italian restaurant, which is basically the pool bar restaurant, but the choice was only pasta and pizza which you can get anyway so we didn't bother booking, plus we saw the chef walking past a few times and if you saw him and his apron it would put you off! 😀 The food in the snack bar during the day was nice, freshly cooked pizza, squid rings, burgers, sausages, salad, tuna, cheeses, meats, individual cakes in pots, fruit salad in pots, the staff at the pool bar also said that it was OK to take drinks down to the beach, which is handy as we spend most of our time at the beach, this was the main reason we choose this hotel as we like the all inclusive food option but don't stay around the hotel for the pools or entertainment but prefer the beach, this hotel was perfect for us, so close to the fabulous beach, our room was lovely and the food was great so we all had such a lovely holiday, the staff were all so friendly and helpful, they all work so hard and it was a pleasure to visit their hotel, a lovely touch on our last night, the waitress came to our table with kids cocktails for the boys and glasses of cava for me and the hubby, wishing us a safe journey home!! It was such a lovely gesture and made me even sadder to be leaving! Would definitely return to this hotel as it suits our family down to the ground, if you like lots of entertainment day and night I don't think this would be the place for you, but its certainly the place for us 😀 Thanks for such a great holiday and hope to return.
