Very plain hotel which was modern and not in a great location. Food wasn't great but as we knew the surroundings it was easy for us. Wouldn't really be staying here again unless we had to as we have been to Majorca many times so we know the holiday destination very very well.

Up until this year this was our go to hotel having had family holidays for last 3 years and in 2016 we had 2 holidays there. Hotel is a 2 hrs flight from U.K and an easy transfer. Hotel is in quieter end of Magaluf. Hotel. Clean and good position for beach, bars, shops and eateries if required. Rooms. Clean and hotel housekeeping staff work tirelessly to make sure rooms are clean. Bedding changed regularly, towels changed daily. Small fridge. Beds comfortable but don't expect uk tv apart from news, which is fine as our tv was only on for the news whilst getting ready to go out. Pool. Clean and plenty of sunbed and umbrellas. Bar staff especially Dominguez work endlessly to keep you topped up and the area clean and presentable. Top marks. Entertainment team put on plenty of things and never stop. Evening entertainment varied and good. Top marks. Restaurant. Breakfast. Good spread of food for all types of person. Lunch. Quick and easy food served next to pool, nothing exceptional. Dinner. Having been here for several years I think we've had the better times. Just seems that kitchen staff are under staffed and trying to do everything. Too many spinning plates. Plenty of times food choices of which there are normally several ran out and had to wait for the chef doing the steaks to go get the next tray of veg or potatoes. I my opinion the standard of food has gone from middle 4* to just scraping in at 3*. The number of choices have gone down and you can clearly see today's roast is tomorrow's casserole and the next days pie. Not a problem as I hate waste but when the choices for evening meal is last night's meal reconfigured or something not very appetizing or my choice then this doesn't give you the holiday feeling of trying something different and new. For some reason I'd guess cutting staff numbers but there's one chef cooking four different things fresh for you. This just causes delay for hot food and queues. This area not big enough and not enough chefs. The dessert choices are a bit hit and miss. Often the creamy sponge cakes were still frozen in the centre. Again things ran out and took ages to replace if at all. I don't want to knock this hotel but the food in my opinion let's it down. All the staff work bloody hard to give you a good time and if they could go back to the way the restaurant was in 2014 (salmon, thick steaks, theme nights) I wouldn't want go anywhere else as we know the staff and people in the bars and shops around. It's like going home. However 2018 family holiday will not be at the sol Guadeloupe.

The hotel and staff cannot do enough for you would highly recommend this hotel friendly anything you ask for is taken care off the hotel is spotless the public toilets are clean and smell fresh the pool area is wonderful the food is off a good standard overall a great experience will be back definitely

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff were amazing. It was my fiftieth birthday and they sent a maid up to our room with a bottle of Champagne and gave us a free room upgrade. Hotel was very central but just far enough from the bars where all the noise was. I'd definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times now and have always enjoyed it here. Staff are lovely and some of them know us and chat to us as they have known us coming to stay here normall two sometimes three times a year...its nice that they remeber us and some even hug us to greets us when we arrive. Love the modern spacious feel of the reception, lobby and bar area..always spotless. Rooms are basic but very modern and clean. The maid are very attentive and clean the rooms everyday. I have requested a pool view room in the past and have never been allocated one but i blame this on maybe me being able to speak better spanish to the guys on the reception desk at check in. I love this hotel and the only reason i havent given it a 5 rating is because im not that keen on the food they serve at dinner. There lots and lots of choice but the warm meals tend to be very repetative and of poor quality...so i opted for bread with most evenings and then picked food up later while i was out. As i say there are plenty of choice if you like salads but the cooked meats and warm dishes to me are off poor quality.....However i really do enjoy the breakfasts. I have just booked 9 nights for next october and have opted fir b&b as i skipped even going for my even9ng meal for 4 out of our 8 nights and ate outside the hotel instead. All in all great staff, lovely stylish spacious lobby area, huge lake style pool an abunsance of sun loungers. Rooms are very modern and clean but basic and a kettle in the room would also be a great improvent to the rooms. Look foward to seeing you all next year

Spent 2 weeks here in August / September for our 22nd wedding anniversary. We were given an upgrade to a room with a pool & sea view on the 4th floor. The room had plenty of wardrobe/drawer space, good sized bathroom with walk in shower, free safe, fridge, large tv with lots of channels. We were given a selection of cakes & a bottle of proseco for our anniversary. This was very much appreciated. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. The reception area is spacious with plenty of seating, a small library and double beds where you can relax. The gardens are lovely and colourful and the pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers. The food was really nice with lots of choices at breakfast and dinner. A lunch menu is available at the pool. Towels provided at pool. Water activities are on every day and there is evening entertainment every night. 1st for children then the adults. Staff are all really pleasant and chat to you when they can. Booked a few trips through the reception staff. Pirate show is a 5 minute walk away. Beach, sea, restaurants, shops and bars are on your doorstep. The " strip " is about a 10 minute walk away. Car parking available. Would definitely stay again.

The season finished that weekend so it was lovely and quiet. Hotel is built for large numbers so has everything covered. Breakfast is massive and they have thought of everything. Staff helpful, hotel room not huge but very clean, great view and modern. Has empty fridge, great idea!

I have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year since 1984 and still enjoy every minute .The hotel and area are perfect for me for a holiday .I always feel 100% safe and comfortable when I stay in this hotel .The rooms are comfortable with fridge , TV, aircon The pool area is very pleasant with a nice bar There is a very nice bar just across the road but there is no noise from it as they have double windows The local area is nothing like the impression that some TV programs give . The strip is a fair distance away but near enough if you like that sort of thing .I stayed for 28 nights ,was out all night every night and didn't see any trouble at all . The prostitutes and lookylookys are a nuiscence and a bit scary but just need to ignore them . The beach is great with many bars etc along a promenade about a mile long all good value .I would say though that towards the end of October many bars closed as various hotels closed so I would suggest only coming at that time if you want a quiet holiday . There are still some bars open though till the very end . Bars normally close at 04-00a.m. some till 06-00a.m. one or 2 don't shut .I would recommend this hotel to any one as it would suit all tastes .I have not met any one that did not like it .

Great hotel a bit quiet, end of season not much open weather was still great but resort shuts down end October. Golf was outstanding well arranged no fuss chill out.flying in and out Prestwick, best airport

Stayed here on my own for 5 days it was really clean with a lovely room everything you could ask for. very modern with ample lighting, fridge, huge bathroom with great shower, ample hot water, toiletries and extra bedding if needed. Breakfast was the best that I have seen with so much to offer including Prosecco and pick n mix sweets and all cooked and presented perfectly. Great location with everything in walking distance including bars, restaurant and lovely beach. Good value for money and I would recommend it to everyone.
