If you are looking for a resort with great entertainment, friendly staff, fun pool areas and pirates look no further! We stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. In the hotel reception there is a news article about how making memories for children is a key aim of the hotel. They completely tick that box! The staff are fantastic and all go the extra mile to make your holiday memorable. Yes there a few things to improve but they love getting feedback on doing that. Really pleased with our stay and will definitely go back!

I'm just spent a week here, with my family, 6 adults and 4 grandchildren, its full on from the minute you arrive till the minute you leave, it's set up for the children to have fun fun fun and it doesn't disappoint.

This hotel is very well run. The best points are: 1. Rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels 2. The look of the place is fantastic and exited the kids 3. The pool area has lots of different levels for all abilities which is a good difference to other hotels 4. The food was AMAZING......I absolutely cannot see how anyone could say different. The only people that probably didn't like it was because they weren't fed English pie and chips every night. Personally I don't like going on holiday to then eat English food.....the kitchen staff work around the clock and produced some gorgeous food with lots of choices. Lots of different meats every night, pork, steak (4 nights in a row) chicken, Paella, vegetables, lots of different salads and styles of potatoes. Some meat was slow cooked, some grilled in front of you and some stewed in sauces. Lots of fish and a really good salad bar. Fresh breads and different choices for the children or chicken croquets, pizza, pasta, veg etc. Desert was the same every night more or less but that didn't bother me. Breakfast was lovely too with cooked breakfast, cereals, oats, yogurts, pastries fresh pancakes you name it. The day time menu at the bar was rubbish but you don't need it if you eat in the restaurant. 5. Entertainment for the kids was brilliant through the day with lots to do. 6. Location of the hotel is perfect with a short walk to the beach and shops etc. 7. The all inclusive drinks were good quality and the kids were made to feel independent being able to serve themselves slush and ice cream. Some reviews say it's like a zoo and a mess from the kids helping themselves but I guess that's down to who's there and using it and it wasn't like that when we were there. 8. The staff are constantly cleaning up!! Negative points: 1. The BLOODY SUNBED situation. I have never in my life known anything like it and the hotel need to get a grip of it before people start fighting. The hotel basically lock up all the sun beds at 6pm sharp (literally the lifeguards kick you off at 6pm sharp) I can understand why they want to clear up as the pool Side is used as part of the night time as the hotel grounds are quite small. BUT it's too early and the fact they lock them causes havoc. People put towels down in the space they want a bed. When were were there it was as early as 11.30pm!!!!! Before going to bed. This infuriated me and when I complained the bar staff and reception said they didn't care. To go on holiday and have to set an alarm to get a space then a bed when they are unlocked at 9am is a joke and not an enjoyable part at all. At the end of the week we did speak to mo the manager and she said they were having a meeting about it. The next day there were towels down and then they were removed so hopefully they have started to stop people putting towels down. 2. There aren't enough sun beds or tables at night for the amount of guests. 3. No aircon in the bedrooms 4. Slides are absolutely not suitable for adults. The bottom is too shallow and it hurts! 5. The entertainment on two of the nights is repetitive and not child friendly. Basically Charlotte wants to marry everyone after looking for a man called legend and makes it look ok to have multiple partners and then kills everyone in sight. The two shows about this are the same but called different names and drag on far too long. All other entertainment was great and involved the kids taking part which is nice. The Sunday pirates attack is awesome!!!! Over all a good holiday with memories made with my family. My son had a blast and that's all that matters.

11 of us went July 23 2017 we had pirate rooms they were ok i am used to much better on holiday. The sunbed carry on was the worst I have ever witnessed the food was ok. However the staff were fantastic the shows were fantastic the pirates were fantastic the kids club was fantastic the whole experience was fantastic the BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY EVER. My grandchildren have spoken about it most days for a whole year so we have booked to go back September 2018 priceless memories is what Pirate Village was and we are going again to make some more LOVED IT.

Just returned from pirate village, and would like to say what a fantastic time we have all had. Was a bit nervous to go to this hotel after reading previous reviews of it being dirty, and glass being around pool but can honestly say did not witness any of that. We were all satisfied and thoroughly entertained . Rooms were decent, and we had a ground floor terrace which is the best way to go in this hotel as no problem looking for sun lounger, and mainly, we could just take couple of steps to walk straight into the pool which was so convenient. Had couple great shows on through the week, which were enjoyed by children and adults and entertainment staff made this holiday simply fantastic . Pools were great, did cut their toes couple of times on steps on way up to slides so I do recommend pool shoes but slides were great. We went self catering for first couple of days, then upgraded to all inclusive just for ease as kids didn't want to leave hotel. Lots of lovely restaurants to try, and we had few nice meals. Did not really enjoy breakfast at all inclusive, but lunch and evening meals were always really nice but had same deserts every single day which bored me a little. Agree with other reviews, that there is not enough choice for snacks in between meals at pool bar. Air conditioning was only in lounge were children slept, so we were quite warm but kids were happy.Overall tho, holiday was fantastic, really had great time, kids cried there eyes out on way home as were already missing the place, and we met some really lovely people. Children absolutely loved the entertainers, especially Alex and Tina whom were just so energetic and loud, and so funny, and literally had the children so entertained, and Charlotte so funny and Whitty at evening shows. Would definitely return to this hotel, and would definitely recommend it so thanks everyone at pirates village for great time, and money well spent

Myself and my family are just back from a weeks stay at Pirates Village. It is an amazing hotel for kids. Our kids are 4 and 2 years old boys and both loved the slides. We didn't have to leave the hotel as they were excited to go in the pools everyday. Even us adults loved the slides. Entertainment staff are excellent. They go out of their way to keep the kids happy. Alex and Martha have great enthusiasm. Plenty to do all day everyday and night. Lots of activities for adults and kids. 2 great professional pirate shows. However, they were a bit too scary for our kids. The pirates in the shows look like real pirates! There is a kids club available and kids can be left from 4 years upwards. We didn't make use of it as our kids didn't want to go. We were all inclusive. Great value for drinks as local beer is nice, kids had soft drinks, slushes and whippy ice-creams. The food wasn't really to our taste. Our 2 year old hardly ate a single thing all week long. There is a great supermarket beside the hotel which we used for snacks and food for our 2 year old!! The food at the hotel is repetitive. Some days there was a good choice, other days we really struggled. I found myself eating pasta everyday. Most meats are fried or covered in oil. However, if we were to go self-catering the apartment isn't equipped enough. It would be good if there was a menu available daily as we may have gone out if we knew what was on offer that day. Another criticism is the sunbed issue. My husband had to get up at 6am every morning to lay our towels by the pool and get an umbrella. He then had to go back down at 9am when the beds are unlocked to lay our towels on our beds. This became annoying as we were on holiday and didn't want to be setting alarms! There is clearly a lack of space around the pools. There are plenty of reviews on here which state the same so we were aware of the issue before we arrived. Apartments are spotless and are cleaned everyday and fresh towels are provided daily. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is a Manager who is present everyday called Mo. She met us on arrival, gave us some information about the hotel and took us to the lift. She is extremely friendly and dealt with any issues we had. She goes around to everyone by the pool in the morning to make sure everyone is ok. She is then available during the day and is around for the shows in the evening. She is definitely an asset here. The guy on reception didn't give us any information on arrival, in fact seemed a bit flustered when we arrived. Later in the week 2 ladies were on reception which were very nice and had good English. The ground floor apartments look very nice as they have a garden and people use them to sit in during the day. Would definitely return as our kids didn't want to leave.

Check in late at night was welcoming and efficient. One bedroom apartment was big enough for us (2 adults & 3 children) but perhaps the table in the room took up some otherwise handy space (but useful if you're self catering). The location is great, complex safe, room clean (but I don't think it was swept during the week we were there which surprised me - give me a broom and I'll do it myself). The entertainment staff were lovely and great with the kids. Some of the shows were a tad odd but liked the Mermaid Tale. I wouldn't say the other staff were particularly friendly. I'm a big lover of excellent customer service and literally just had a poor experience involving check out closely followed by a member of cleaning staff. Not the greatest end to an otherwise great holiday. Having to get up early to place a towel on the ground (as you can't reserve sunbeds which is fair enough, I completely agree but people have found another way to take up all the space so you really have no option but to join in with the madness) really defeats the meaning of 'holiday' but I believe this is the case on most beach type holidays. This is down to the other guests and not the hotel but just in case you arrive at night like we did and know you'll need to get your towel down! Haha! Perhaps we were just a tad unfortunate at the finish up and I wouldn't want that to completely put you off. The food is the best I've had with plenty choice that changes throughout the week. The most important thing is that we felt the kids were safe running around. They loved it. The chutes were great! I think we would return but I'd like the customer service to be a tad friendlier.

Went to pirates village for the first time (9th - 16th July 2017) with my 2 boys age 5 and 8 we had a great time and the entertainment was the best we ever seen they put so much effort and energy into all the shows. The food was ok we ate loads at breakfast and abit at tea time we always found something we like, the thing I would say is we didn't agree how little there was free in the all inclusive from snack bar a lot you did have to pay for. We found it useful on help yourself on some of drinks we u didn't need to queue up. The rooms where spotless and ok size for the 5 of us. The kids loved the swimming pools and the slides and even me and my husband did aswell. All the staff where friendly and made us feel welcome. We all want to come back again soon. The holiday was perfect and hotel looks amazing from outside and a lot of thought been put into it in the inside. Thanks pirates village.

We went self catering so can't really comment on the food as we only had snacks in the hotel. The hotel is absolutely amazing for kids. The entertainment staff are great and work so hard. The only problem we had was having to get up at 5am to put towels down daily. Also the pool closed quite early compared to other hotels I've stayed in. But overall fab holiday.

Great place for kids! Would really recommend this hotel for young children...rooms were ok..basic but clean. Food typical of all inclusive..kids disco at night was superb! The wee ones loved it! Overall nice holiday and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with young kiddies.
