We stayed for 9 nights in a 4th floor room facing their other hotel, Amic Can Pastilla. The Miraflores is situated in a good spot, with the bus stop just to the left of the entrance and the beachfront just around the corner. The views from the balcony aren't picturesque, but it's spacious enough for two people to sit outside and watch the people and traffic go by. The lobby is nice and spacious, with contemporary furnishings. There is a small pool that is shared with the Amic Can Pastilla, along with a sizable patio space and pool table. The bar is on the other side of the front desk facing the patio, but I never saw anyone staffed there. There are also a couple vending machines for drinks, snacks and ice cream. We stayed in a standard queen room, with two memory foam double beds pushed together in front of a king-sized headboard (we experienced the same thing in Barcelona - is this a standard thing in Spain or just a coincidence?) There was a small TV mounted a bit high on the wall, a desk and chair, nightstands, and the tiniest trash cans. The bathroom left many things to be desired, as it was very small and uncomfortable to move around in. For some inexplicable reason, the shower head was mounted in the center of the wall, so when you turned it on, you had to turn it to the side so it didn't soak the floor. The sink was set into a MASSIVE countertop that took up most of the real estate, so when you had to use the toilet it required sitting facing to the right. There are no bathroom toiletries, save for a soap dispenser on the shower wall with hand soap. You can hear your neighbors shower and talk and flush, so that's awkward. Not a great bathroom experience, unfortunately. Every unit in the hotel has an A/C unit mounted on the wall above the bed. It cooled just fine, when it wasn't shutting off and dripping the condensation it collected onto your face in the middle of the night. This happened three times. Our lights kept shorting out too, so we had their maintenance guy come in and show us where the fuse box was (above the door, and yes we ended up flipping the breaker ourselves). In short, this is a mediocre hotel in a heavy tourist area with better options. If you're staying for a couple nights it's fine but you may want to upgrade for a longer stay. Shoutout to the helpful and friendly staff - they were great!
Just came back from a holiday week in Mallorca staying at hotel Miraflores. The hotel is only a few meters away from the beach and the people that work there are very polite and helpful. It was full board so we were eating at the hotel three times a day. The food was very good and it included dishes for all tastes and a great variety. The hotel was clean and the pool area was very good too. We certainly recommend it.
Room was lovely, on the sea front, fine for people with walking/breathing difficulties, staff amazing! Close to everything you need! nice size pool, Will probably come back here again! Majorca is very nice
Visited the Miraflores last week for a few nights. The hotel is clean and in a brilliant location in the centre of town, 1 minute from the beach. Wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel. TV did not work in the room, not that that bothered us. Double glazing in non exsistant. The breakfast across the road was poor. There was a massive choice but very poor, cheap quality foods. For the price we paid it was Ok. You get what you pay for.
Booked to stay here for one night on October 2nd 2016, unfortunately had to cancel, which I did five days before on 28th September. I have sent several e-mails but I still haven 't had a refund !! Not exactly good customer relations.
Miraflores is a part of a chain owned by Amic, with another two hotels a stone’s throw away. It’s comfortable and inexpensive and served our purpose of having somewhere to crash after a late night arrival to Palma airport, with 24 hour reception. The beds were firm and comfortable, and the wifi worked ok, but only in the central areas, and not in our rooms. The hotel is quite central to Can Pastilla and also very close to the beach and promenade.
Didn't feel at all welcome when we arrived at this hotel, we were met my the Hipster receptionist with the yellow beard, not exactly rude, but really indifferent and the experience of the rest of the hotel was pretty much the same. I was on crutches and just getting into the hotel was quite difficult with no ramp access that I could see. We were in room 105, it was very clean and OK for a basic room, one problem which the hotel ought to sort out is the plug socket was very loose, in fact my partner accidentaly knocked it out of the wall, exposing live wires, very dangerous. The only redeeming feature was the breakfast which was across the road at the Gala Hotel- Fabulous. Top tip- stay at the Gala, much cheaper and you can use the Miraflores pool anyway.
We arrived very late (or rather, early morning) in Palma due to flight delays and the hotel was easy to find, with a very friendly gentleman at reception despite the fact that it was 3am. Check in was easy, we had a great room with a balcony. Everything was clean and tidy. We only stayed one night, but I was really surprised at the quality of the hotel given the price we paid. Yes, it is an older hotel and not posh or plush. But it is more than basic, the room was large, the bathroom spotless and it had a lovely view plus it was walking distance from the beach. We had breakfast included and were very surprised at the variety and size of the buffet breakfast on offer (we were directed across the road to their sister hotel for breakfast). I will have no hesitation booking here again.
When I arrived, I was able to check in early which was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and it is so easy to get to from the airport. Hotel is in a perfect location, not 200m to the beach. I was given a sea-facing room which meant I was able to sit on the balcony in the sun all day if I wanted to. HOWEVER, when I got in my room, no bags in the bins and the bins themselves were disgusting. The desk was filthy with black curlies on!! Floor was just about adequate. The bathroom wasn't great either. The bath was covered with a few years worth of scum, as were the taps. When it comes to the shower, frankly you'd be better off with a bucket or using the one by the pool! Temperature changed every 30 seconds and I could p*ss faster than that pressure!! It's such a shame, I know it's a basic hotel but BASIC cleanliness isn't too much to ask!
Had a seaview room with balcony which was basic but clean. Beds were really comfortable, and shower worked perfectly. Air conditioning was not too loud and was effective. Breakfast buffet was vast! Staff on reception (especially Adam) were friendly and helpful. Can Pastilla is a very quiet place which is why we go back again and again. Palma is not far on the bus and Arenal (German party land) is a couple of mile walk along the promenades with plenty of bars along the way.
