Hotel Amic Miraflores3.0 out of 5.0

I booked this hotel as a short break for our wedding anniversary. The staff in the hotel are lovely. The room was basic but spotless. There were a few broken tiles in the bathroom and room floor. There were 12 sun loungers to service the hotel and most of these had breaks or cracks in them. I asked for a vodka and coke one night at the bar and was told there was no vodka so we went across the road to the Amic Gala Hotel's cocktail bar which was lovely and well stocked. The breakfast was served in the Amic Gala. We went the first day at around 8.15 and it was like feeding time at the zoo. We waited until around 9.30 after that and it was a bit more civilised. Definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend. This "hotel" needs some serious money spent on it - not worth what we paid for it.
The three best things about this hotel are it's friendly staff, it's proximity to the beach and airport, and it's reasonable room rates. Overall, however, the hotel is dated, drab and in much need of redecoration. The bathroom is small and not very practical. Toiletries are not provided except for hand soap in a wall mounted dispenser. We had issues with the toilet leaking and the air-con not working, but both issues were resolved quickly. Other facilities at the hotel such as the bar and pool are very basic. The walls between the rooms are very thin and so we could clearly hear our neighbours conversations etc. One of the biggest issues for me however, was the drilling noise that woke us every morning from 9am, this seriously impeded on my ability to have a lie-in. There are lots of other hotel options in the area and I would recommend shopping around for the best value hotel rather than the cheapest hotel!
Great location, virtually round the corner to the beach. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast was at the Same owner hotel over the road which was no problem at all . breakfast was good. There is a bus stop almost right outside the door. It has a small pool but good enough for a dip. We had an issue with our room, on one night and the night reception did his best to rectify, but within 24 hours we had been given a different room. All staff were very polite and did their best to help with any problems. (give my thanks to the Night reception and the young gentleman during the day (24th July to 28th July). Overall i would come back to this hotel, enjoyed its location and the rooms. I would also like to mention that the beds were really comfortable.
Great hotel helpful friendly staff. Very close to beach, restaurants fast food outlets and shops. Bus stops right outside door one which will take you to the airport or you can take a taxi which will cost you €15. Towrls provided in rooms and also a hairdryer however no Kettle. Plenty of places to hire bikes pedalos or car. Airport is approximately 10 mins away.
This hotel is perfectly at walking distance from the beach followed by great long hotels and restaurants along the coast line opened till very late. The hotel staff is really polite and make sure the rooms are always cleaned and to the standard. Only downside I'd mention is the patio door which has no locking system or its broken. Various excursions shops available for adventurers who are looking for boat ride in the turquoise water, electric machine bikes (30 Euro/ hr), bikes (10 Euro/hr), dolphins watch and yummy delicacies. You can hire a bike for a day and explore the lengthy coast and take several stops for snorkelling or quick swim in the warm Mediterranean water.
We spent a night in Amic Miraflores while waiting for an early flight. The location of the hotel with respect to the beach, restaurants and airport is ideal. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach any of these locations. The value for money of the place is good. The place is simple, but well kept, globally clean and provides friendly services and information. One downside is the parking. With a car it is extremely difficult to park in the surroundings. Only hope is in the late evening or early morning. There is not even an offloading area in front of the hotel.
Stayed for 3 nights 9th of July, check in very quick room and hotel were very clean as was the pool area .(maybe more sunbeds)for the price very good. air-conditioning wasn't working the older man on reception came up to try and fix it and was very helpful and the young man from Bulgaria was very friendly am sure all staff are.
At that time, we had good price for the location and also a renoved room which was in good conditions. The breakfast was very completed, i liked it a lot. Bus stop is in front of the hotel to the city center and also to the airport
We stayed for 9 nights in a 4th floor room facing their other hotel, Amic Can Pastilla. The Miraflores is situated in a good spot, with the bus stop just to the left of the entrance and the beachfront just around the corner. The views from the balcony aren't picturesque, but it's spacious enough for two people to sit outside and watch the people and traffic go by. The lobby is nice and spacious, with contemporary furnishings. There is a small pool that is shared with the Amic Can Pastilla, along with a sizable patio space and pool table. The bar is on the other side of the front desk facing the patio, but I never saw anyone staffed there. There are also a couple vending machines for drinks, snacks and ice cream. We stayed in a standard queen room, with two memory foam double beds pushed together in front of a king-sized headboard (we experienced the same thing in Barcelona - is this a standard thing in Spain or just a coincidence?) There was a small TV mounted a bit high on the wall, a desk and chair, nightstands, and the tiniest trash cans. The bathroom left many things to be desired, as it was very small and uncomfortable to move around in. For some inexplicable reason, the shower head was mounted in the center of the wall, so when you turned it on, you had to turn it to the side so it didn't soak the floor. The sink was set into a MASSIVE countertop that took up most of the real estate, so when you had to use the toilet it required sitting facing to the right. There are no bathroom toiletries, save for a soap dispenser on the shower wall with hand soap. You can hear your neighbors shower and talk and flush, so that's awkward. Not a great bathroom experience, unfortunately. Every unit in the hotel has an A/C unit mounted on the wall above the bed. It cooled just fine, when it wasn't shutting off and dripping the condensation it collected onto your face in the middle of the night. This happened three times. Our lights kept shorting out too, so we had their maintenance guy come in and show us where the fuse box was (above the door, and yes we ended up flipping the breaker ourselves). In short, this is a mediocre hotel in a heavy tourist area with better options. If you're staying for a couple nights it's fine but you may want to upgrade for a longer stay. Shoutout to the helpful and friendly staff - they were great!
Just came back from a holiday week in Mallorca staying at hotel Miraflores. The hotel is only a few meters away from the beach and the people that work there are very polite and helpful. It was full board so we were eating at the hotel three times a day. The food was very good and it included dishes for all tastes and a great variety. The hotel was clean and the pool area was very good too. We certainly recommend it.
